Currently, the Japanese bonsai industry is in a difficult situation.
Due to the declining population, profits have fallen, and there is a shortage of successors to the bonsai garden.
It is no exaggeration to say that in a few years the number of bonsai gardens will be half what it is today.
It's a small power now, but I believe that if we all work together, we can become a big power.
I would like to create such an opportunity, so if you don't mind, please give me a high rating and channel registration.
Let's enjoy bonsai together to brighten the future of bonsai.

Indeed, neither Japanese Cedars or Yews like too much sunlight, as Hara-sensei mentioned.
I spoke to the wife of the proprietor of Mansei-en last year. I asked if they had seen any climate change or global warming in recent years.
She told me a story, that 170 years ago, when they moved to Omiya from Nagano, they brought Japanese Cedar group planting bonsai with them. You can still see some of group plantings at the nursery to the left of the entrance. They discovered that in Omiya's lowland climate, cedars would get brown tips and dieback if the temperature exceeded around 32C for more than a couple of days. I asked why this was and she said they figured out that cedars and yews thrive in mountain valleys, so they don't expect more than a couple of hours of direct sunlight a day and don't expect high temperatures. Chinese Junipers, presumably are mountain top trees, so like direct sunlight as Hara-sensei pointed out.
As for climate change, she said that spring and autumn became much shorter and summer became much longer in recent decades.
