Great set-up, I particularly like the bricks, and the texture. I don't know if this is de rigueur, but every time I've made ruins, or even buildings, I have a tendency of making them with more that one wall; I'll always have at least two walls of the building in the diorama, sometimes three, and I'll model the interior, as well as second floors. And I have a tendency of making urban scenes with either crossroads, or alleyways, or a turn, with other vehicles and rubble down there (when Miniart produced the European tram, I was in heaven, but ended up making a diorama that was 18 inches long, by 10 inches deep).
I decided to make the diorama with one wall because I had a small base. In my other films I made buildings with two or even three walls. It all depends on the concept I came up with. Greetings and thanks for the comment.
Masterly work with the building and the base. This background looks more than well and makes the 222er stand out even more. With your good eye for the parts and the details you've achieved a outstandin diorama. Best wishes, Joachim
