The GMT-800 is very very tough platform (one of them in the video got knocked over, so you know which kind of truck it is) I got into a wreck driving one actually I had a late 90s dodge 2500 with an empty twin axle trailer hit me going around 59 mph, in the back of the truck spun me around in a 360, somehow without rolling it, it ended up bouncing over a ditch and onto the upper part above the ditch, the front end in the rocks just by the drainage pipe, and rear end out of it. My left ear rang when he hit me, me and my pal were flung around inside like ragdolls when it impacted. After all that, the engine was still running, everything was fine, got out to see if other people were ok, and they were. Nobody in my truck got hurt either. Just minor, like bonking head on the surrounding cabin finish etc. Nothing bad Dodge was totaled, surprisingly I did not need a tow. The police told me to whack the quarter panel piece away from the rear wheel a few inches and I was good to go. Dodge people tried to start their ride back up, made a horrible racket but managed to park it off the road, when I left the scene their truck was empty, so they probably got a ride home glad everyone was ok, REALLY surprised at how well it held up, the frame hardly took a scratch, and remained straight after a larger truck hitting it at highway speed if I ever get another truck, its going to be a 2003-2006 silverado. Very good trucks

many believe full sized sedans are more expensive and thereby harder to get when many believe they could get a full sized truck on the cheap. There was cases those could get a midsized sedan or a compact car on the cheap as well when there was classes for the midsized sedans along with the compact cars and the full sized trucks.

When I did demo derbies guys like that ended up winning but they would need to u see e those winnings on a plastic surgeon. When the field was done with them plus thier truck they pulled that vehicle with couldn't leave because it would also be destroyed.
it's an SUV...the rear section is stronger than an open bed. (Same reason station wagons were so highly prized in derbies.) The real one I'd look at was the winner...I wonder if he had the frame full of concrete. If you actually attacked someone for that, you deserve a couple of 9mm hollow points through your guts.
