2:15 “Throw him the *damn* ball, he’ll only use one *damn* hand!” Goated commentary lmao
One thing you cant deny Keyshawn is he was not scared to eat in the middle and take them kill shots. Back in those days everyone was scared to go up the middle.
i went across the middle of the field once and aaid oh sht in my head
He was almost as good as Chrebet at that
As a Bears fan I remember Jay Cutler trying his best to get Brandon Marshall cut in half in the middle of the field and Brandon accepted every assignment.
@@JoeDMurphyAlmost??
I think of Key and Chris Carter when it comes to going across the middle and eating 🥣🤷🏾♂️
Looking at him now, you’d think he used to be a lineman, not a wide receiver
Mf look like warren sapp😂
Good eating Dawg..... 😅
Keyshawn was the first to rock a number not in the 80s. I instantly starting wearing 19 from middle school all the way to JUCO.
It’s sad but a lot forgotten/un talked about players in the NFL but videos like these keep their career highlights alive 👍🏻
Keyshawn was a solid playmaker in the redzone.
Keyshawn never had a franchise QB to get him the ball.
why not i allways thought that why didnit he have the ball more in the 80s 90s i rember watching him as a kid in CT nugatuck he was show bout after the catch
he was only on the Jets for 4 years I think - I mean they just didn't keep him so that's also why
@@shawnbopko858he was drafted in the 90s. He was one of many players who was unfortunate
Can’t nobody in these comments can play with 18 different QBs Idgaf how good you was or wat pick you was 💯
Who’s here after watching Keyshawn on Undisputed 7/18/24? Keyshawn was before his time. Imagine Keyshawn with a Mahomes, Rodgers in his prime or Tom Brady…
11:00 looked like an AMAZING play with great YAC til you keep watching 😂😂😂
Scoring your first rushing career TD on your first run attempt?! That's insane!
My first interception was a pick 6 I know the feeling
@@TexasBorn_TexasRaiseduhhh. no shit. your first pick is suppose to be a interception. 😭💀
@@flyingknee23 uhhh. I said pick 6 smart guy....Ahh you thought you cooked but made a fool of yourself 🤮🤦🏾♂️
@@flyingknee23you’re an embarrassment
love those old jets uniforms. the best!
Hell yeah! Thanks for making this. Not many highlights of him out there
He trash, that's why. He's definitely not Reidell Anthony
@@j-23 what the heck are you talking about ? The guy had 64 career touchdowns 10,571 career yards and 814 Receptions, yeah he’s no Jerry Rice or Michael Irvin but he was getting the job done or else he wouldn’t have almost 15 minutes of highlights now would he ?
@@Will-jn8vq Yeah he was a great player. For some reason I had a #19 Jets Jersey I have no idea why, I’m from North Carolina and didn’t even like the Jets idk if we got it at a thrift store or what but having that Jersey made me really like him.
I think of Key and Chris Carter when it comes to going across the middle and eating 🥣🤷🏾♂️
Michael Thomas is his nephew, now I see where he gets his cocky behavior from.
Finally a keyshawn highlight vid!! THANK YOU!!
Keyshawn must’ve had a lot of hype in college to end up the #1 pick.
@Dwyane Carter to an extent
@Dwyane Carter yea if he worked at his craft he could of been really good
@@ipman_1436 or if he ever played with a great qb.
Dude was eating with Shaun King, Brad Johnson, Frank Reich, etc.
All beLow average
@@JacaboBlanco u right
@@ipman_1436 Keyshawn was elite at every category for receivers except speed. At 6'6" though he didn't have to be fast. Great Hands, great route runner, and what alot of people dont know he was known as one of the best blocking receivers to ever play.
NFL on TNT?! Wow
U gotta be under 25
I was about to say that.. I'm 31 and don't remember that.
@@freshestinclass763 I'm 32! I totally don't remember.
Way back
People say he is slow but he is wide open on his deep ball tds
He was a Good route runner and the Jet teams he was on had Good run game. Helped to free him with a lack of speed
Wouldn’t say he’s slow per say he’s just not someone he’s going to take the top off a defense.
@@Bang-Bang415he literally ran a 4.41 at 6’ 4” 215+ . . . What do yall think is fast? Only 4.2 speed? 🤣😂 there’s a reason he wide open on 65% of these catches and there’s also a reason you don’t see but 5-10% corners pressing him. I guess Calvin Johnson was slow too 🤣😂 6’ 5” 240 4.35 . . .
@@iancelestin1018 Do you not know how to read. I never said he was slow he’s just not someone that burns your entire defense. And the reason is open is because he’s a giant not because he gets so much separation. He didn’t have a really good 40 time, but in Johnson’s case it didn’t translate to in field speed. He got open by being big and being a solid route runner not because he was fast. And it’s funny how almost all the plays he’s wide open is off of flea flickers. What does that tell you
@@Bang-Bang415 🤣😂 how many people ran better than a 4.41 in the early 90’s? . . . Let’s be honest, the only mfs running faster were Deion and BoJack 🤭🤣😂. How does being bigger get you more open? That statement don’t even make sense, whose losing a slow 6’4” 215 lbs man? Outside of the flea flickers bro he’s burning double AND triple teams open your eyes 🤣😂. Mans had 64 yards on Aeneas Williams by halftime, Aeneas is a HOFer, a lot smaller than key and ran a 4.5 . . . Just cuz his stride ain’t fast don’t make him slow, speed is about getting from point a to b not how fast you lift your legs up n down 😭😭
Yal remember the magazine cover they put on him with tape over his mouth saying "Throw me the damn ball!" I really owned it because he'll always be a GOAT. I'm not a Bucs or Jets fan but the dude was killer. Gruden even knew you can't mock this
He had good hands, ran great routes and had size but he was slow as hell
Exactly
I think he was faster than he got credit for, his long legs just make him look even slower. He was wide open on all those deep balls
I thought he had about the worst hands of any receiver I've ever seen. He tried to body catch everything to avoid those scissor hands.
Key didn’t drop 🏈
4.41 🫠🫠🫠 is somehow slow . . . 🤣😂 a 6’ 4” 215+ 4.41 is slow 😭😭😭😭 you mfs say anything for the internet.
Bro got busy through mad eras
Great work as always, Jsn. Thanks. Could you please make in the near future career highlight videos of Rickey Dudley, Kurt Warner, Torry Holt, Isaac Bruce (by themselves not the Greatest Show on Turf St.Louis Rams highlight video)?
Dudley was posed ta b greatest Raiders TE ever. If he could catch
Keyshawn Johnson was a pass-catching machine just like his cousin Chad Johnson(formerly known as OchoCinco).
To have no open field moves jus hands route running an still be a top receiver is crazy 🙌🏾
Keyshawn from the school of it touch your hands you come down with it
This was when it was good to watch sports center!
Boomer was great.
You watch these highlights and you’d think the Jets won every game lol
😂
They didn’t have a Qb back in those days 😂😂
Yooooo lol i was thinking the same thing 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
0:39 that big dude came from behind too fuckin hard 🤣
When i was a kid he always seemed slow... But now im looking at it... I'll never understand a player with this type of speed: he seems like a way above good route runner... Almost deceptively fast in his route... He makes the catch then just look slow.. He look like he chasing a toddler after he catches the ball.
He was never a burner but his long legs make him look slower than he actually was.
When you can run great routes it doesn’t matter how fast you is 💯
@@bigred99914.41 at 6’ 4” 215+ ain’t burning anyone? I guess Calvin Johnson 4.35 speed was slow too at 6’ 5” 240 . . . 🫠
Roughing the passer, roughing the passer, late hit on Keyshawn , late hit, late hit again, hit while down. Hit to the helmet 🤣🤣 damn I can go on.
Bro was not scared to go down the middle 😂
Imma jet ✈️ fan for life brudda and let me tell you this they couldn’t do nothing with Keyshawn Johnson they could not stop 🛑 him just throw him the dam 🦫 ball 🏈 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 again and again touchdown homeboy allday…he should of never retired he mite can come back right now and help the God dam ✈️ win with garret Wilson on the other side
( 2:15 ) bro if that catch was made today, it would be alllll over TV and social media
No gloves either!
Wish they allowed players to take helmets off after celebrations
Damn son, Keyshawn was a beast lol
Aeneas is a HOF'er... tough flea flicker...
Ayo if he had a one of those ok qbs for even a few years straight imagine the numbes when he finished with 64tds and 10,000yrds, thats insane bruh
He “Eate” in his day when his offenses had premier backs like Curtis Martin and warrick Dunn but today he woulda been outrageous.
Johnson was damn good but he wasn’t even the best WR in his Draft Class🥴 TO and Harrison were cutting up in the league
Gold49ersFan he never had a franchise quarterback
In all fairness, that is widely considered the greatest WR class in history. The two guys you mention also had historically good quarterbacks tossing the ball their way. Marvin had Peyton, TO had a hugely underrated Jeff Garcia (his stats were incredible with SF) followed by Donovan McNabb then Tony Romo. Keyshawn's quarterbacks were average at best his whole career.
@@cgarnet01 you forgot to mention t.o. started with steve young and t.o. had jerry on the other side so if you double Jerry. T.o is gonna light you up.
@@BigSpender29 so in his 10 years in the league, he never became a free agent.
@@BigSpender29 You're absolutely right. I should have mentioned that. That duo was dynamic in the late 1990s. Who could forget that overtime TD reception by Owens against the Packers in the playoffs?
That end zone grab against the dolphins looks better than the obj
I know these are highlights, but throughout his career; literally HE DIDN'T DROP PASSES.
What? I called him scissor hands. He tried to body catch everything to avoid his horrible hands.
@@ckobo84he didn't have horrible hands. I'm not saying he's a hall of famer but you're tripping
Odell ain’t the only one can catch the ball one hand falling back and score
🔑
Keyshawn had his best season yards and targets wise in 2001 but only got ONE touchdown. Weird.
Facts and still made the Pro Bowl too.
I remember that year. Very strange. Was talked about all the time.
Mike Alstott
@@Jannakennels just didn't have qb play
109 catches and 1 td from my memory
Why chris berman keep saying keyshawn's Johnson for? Thats wild work 😂😂
He was pretty good
Keyshawn should be in the hof just fir eatting with all the average qbs he played with
Facts 10,000 + yards with 18 different QBs is crazy
02:13 Who remembers getting anxieties listening to that background music
Thought this man played OT
He only used one damn hand!!! 😂
Shawn King baby😂, always thought Key was overrated
This mf was catching everything thrown his way fr
I see a solid, competitive, smooth athlete in Keshawn. Nice looking reciever imo. A poor man's T.O. ?
Didn’t have speed or YAC ability like TO. Better hands
@@Jannakennels you know your football. Perfect summary
Not strong or fast like to better hands and blocking
@@Sun-kt3de agreed 👍
That was some horrible D on that first Keyshawn touchdown against the Bills
Keyshawn hands was crazy but route running was mid. Sherman is locking it down
Nah his route running was one of his best attribute
lol that first play was disrespectful how open do you want someone to be?
Did anybody else noticed the fumble at 11:06?
Cant believe the jets still can not get a quality qb, all shit since namath
These cornwrs he was beating were physical and fast, they were way too physical for some of these new era receivers
Watch this in the lowest playback speed
Left out the highlights from being a Dallas Cowboy
I'm surprised Key n Ocho only got low 60s TD n dey career!! Dats why dey ain't gonna make da Hall plus cuz The folks dat b ain't like dey attitude!! Same fa Antonio Brown even though he wss on another level his attitude. But F dem if u ask me let my play speak fa itself
0:39 Wtf was his teammate thinking
U can tell he from L.A.
Bring Keyshawn and Vinny testaverde back and mite win 🏆a chip
BEST HILITES ON YT. ACCEPT NO SUBSTITUTE! REGGIE WHITE, JASON SEHORN, JASON TAYLOR NXT PLEASE. THX BROTHER
Lmao why did his teammate tackle him in the first touchdown
Pretty sure he was trying to stop an excessive celebration
I thought dude played defense he was skinny as hell back in the day
Seeing the level of QB play. It’s funny how far talent has come almost every throw was a wobbly pass
Hmm
I dont know what yah be thinking or watching, but key was playing against all pro defensive backs smh 😂😂. Aenas williams, sean springs, dudes like those are hall of famers lol, so if he made them look bad when both of their speeds were like 97 to damn near 98-99 in madden lol, they were freaking fast 😐
I hated him, because in madden he was slow as hell
No body wears 19 ds days
He definitely mossed sam Madison too, another superb n fast corner smh
Too bad he never had a really great quarterback
Keyshawn over Richard Sherman all day
Not a HoF’er
Keyshawn was never as good as he thought he was.
when he playd for the jets he was the man in green and white then in tampa he started to decline in Dallas he sucked
Your analysis is WRONG:
KEYS AVERAGE LAST 3 YEARS:
70 CATCHES- 975YDS- 6TD
981 yds and 6 tds is declining? Second year was 839 6 tds too.
He had 2 1100 seasons in Tampa 😂😂
Dude had the worst qbs.
Vinny testiverde, who was awful at times and good at others. But on average, awful.
Frank Reich.
Shaun king.
Brad Johnson.
Drew Henson
Washed up bledsoe.
I mean. Seriously. Shit.
Shaun King wasn't that bad.
Disrespectful to place Brad Johnson on that list. He was a good QB for 3 different teams.
Neil Odonnel used to put it on Key. Prob best QB he had
Sorry but he’s never that guy! Busted
Ummmm know 3 pro bowls and a superbowl is far from a bust
@@brandenwebb6232
2 pro bowls as a Buccaneer in 2000 & 2001
Keyshawn never had a good QB
Brad Johnson was pretty solid in Tampa
One of the most overrated players of all time
You could have fit all of keshawn Johnson's highlights in a 2 minute video cause there's not that many especially and play off games
Overrated possession receiver
Worst wide receiver pick ever 3 other wide receivers picked behind him are in the haĺl of fame
And he still was a success what did you do in your life?
A bit overrated but far from the worst
2 pro bowls as a Buccaneer
10k yards in 10 NFL seasons with NY Tampa Dallas And Carolina
18 different QBs 😂😂
