Vegas Infinite (Pokerstars VR) is awesome with passthrough. It's like having a poker, craps, or roulette table in your room with live players around you. Use hand tracking with it, and it's even more impressive. Picking up chips and cards with your hands, and being able to wave or give a thumbs up, or interact with the props, it's really cool.
There’s a bug. When your headset goes into low power mode it goes into a worse quality. However. A bug makes it stay on there forever even if you restore the headset. some people its been fine for days and then it suddenly has this bug. so basically it isnt like a toggle users can do. its just a sneaky hidden behind the scenes device thing it does mine looks garbage but is usable and i think since its suppose to only stay on there until battery is charged ( and obviously you put it on charge pretty quick when its low anyway ) they dont expect you to notice much. however.... the bug means it never actually exits this damn mode. as for how clear it is i only had the quest 1 not 2. and hadnt played it for absolute years. While games look clear sure theres still bad that takes away. like in onward. when im a sniper and at a distance you literally cant see because the anti aliasing is so crap. its so bad at distance? i dunno if thats suppose to be or what and yes im even using glasses Even the menu sometimes reminds me of the quest 1 where you just feel like its almost a chore because it goes blurry n stuff i couldnt watch a movie thats just ridiculous. i was in youtube vr app and when the screens big the quality was dreadful.. i could see lines everywhere. this was discussed by a reviewer btw. because the lens are tilted all horizontal lines are jagged thats just how it works due to the tilted lens. not gonna say im over the moon with this thing.@@TruGamer4Realz

There’s no way I’d play mixed reality on this. The pass through is absolute dog. Sooo bad. Turn this video to 480p maybe even 360p And I promise you that’s how bad it looks in real life. Even when I take a screenshot or video it looks 10000x better like in reviews. That’s dirty as hell. Meta is clearly doing something shady. Trust me you’ll be so disappointed. You wouldn’t wanna play games that’s a for sure. As for using it to quickly say talk to someone or if someone wants to show you something, sure. That’s it. Can you read phone messages? Only just. With a tun of holding it up down close far adjustment. Man I’m disappointed. And you will be too.
sorry you feel that way. I am enjoying it but yes, its not crystal clear in the passthrough but the games look great in the environments and are clear. I have heard of a few people that have defective headsets and the passthrough is just terrible. hope thats not the case for you, might be something work checking into.

Soooo, do you have to buy them from Oculus to be able to play passthrough? PCVR or Steam games wouldn't work right? Only standalone?
You can use standalone only through virtual desktop. But yes mostly just standalone
