This is the reason Digimon has endured for so long it’s a series that truly cares for its fans and not only that but actively tries to implement the ideas of its audience to show that they aren’t simply a small piece of the pie but are integral and matter!!!

I remember reading on an interview that they used to be very cautious to not name any new Digimon with the same name as fanmade ones they came across so the kids wouldn't be sad and stop creating their own Digimon, but they just couldn't keep doing this as the number of Digimon kept increasing

@@Karn_EX We've had some awesome Digimon creations by the fans that have been well received. Heck, in the show Xros Wars: Boy Hunters there were I think 5 digimon in that show that were actually based off of fan drawings for a contest they did (Jestermon and Phelesmon were two of them).
Oh I used to make up a TON of Digimon when I was younger! I even made partners and evolution lines for other kids in my neighborhood. My partner was Dactylmon, a bright red and yellow pterodactyl Digimon with small wings and a long tail with a cursor-shaped arrow tail. His Champion form was Rampomon, who was like a red/blue DinoHumon with wings (though I thought of Rampomon way before Digimon World 3 was a thing). Ultimate form was MetalRampomon, who was bigger, had cybernetic armor, and two tails with like plasma blades at the end. Then the Mega form was Zenithmon, who was more golden and angelic and had four pterodactyl wings, sort of making him a dino-angel.
I have a ton more, and I even have a tweaked/updated version of my original partner, but then this post would be massive lol

Mine was Lizardmon who digivolved into Reptilmon. Basically just a big lizard-donor digimon. Honestly Dracomon and Coredramon (green) have a similar energy to the idea, even Groundramon. Just wish Brakedramon was a design I likes better. Alas.

Aww listening to your love and adoration for Digimon reminded me of the days of watching Digimon Tamers, closing my laptop and saying "Digimons are real" to my child-like self to feel as if I could ever have my own Digimon

That design sounds like a fun one. There are numerous ways to design a tiger cub digimon, so don't let Meicoomon (not even tiger) stop you. I like your idea for a future Karn video too.

This is why I love Digimon much more than Pokémon, specifically now as an adult. I find it SO cool that this franchise embraces creativity. I made my own fanmade child/rookie Digimon back in high school - a jackalope-like Digimon called Cappumon (from the italian word for hat/cap "cappello"). He wore a beanie that had two horns poking out from the top that he could launch at enemies, similar to Ikakkumon's Harpoon Vulcan. The attack was called Twin Missile. His ears were also very long and he could use them to grab things. I miss drawing him a lot and I should really bring him back.

I remember creating LeoAngemon back in middle school. Before I knew what biblically accurate angels actually looked like, I always envisioned them as lions with wings, so that's basically what it was. Like, an actual lion, not a Leomon variant (but looking back, Leomon could've been a possible Champion form). Just imagine Simba with teal-green angel wings, and *that* was LeoAngemon.
This video has also somewhat inspired me to try and perfect this idea and maybe make a LambAngemon to go with it.

As a pokemon fan, I'm extremely jealous, just that kind of bond with fans is great to have
I totally feel that, I've been a Pokémon fan all my life as well as a Digimon fan but the Pokémon franchise has left me feeling increasingly left out in the cold while Digimon has only made me feel closer to the brand.

@@nuruddinshah684 legendary Pokémon are genderless their is ditto Pokémon genders don't exist up until Gen 2 the character designs I always prefer Pokémon over digimon both franchises have to pander to the first generation digimon pandering to the first season it like Pokémon pandering to kanto you can brag about how good your show is all you want I still got pokemon adventure manga explored the idea off growing up alongside with your character idea the Pokémon anime never did comparing filler off the weak anime too Shonen it like night and day
@@nuruddinshah684Considering it’s the trainer making most of the shots, I can see where people interpret at such. While in the anime they do show some trainers asking Pokémon for consent before being “caught,” it is not how it is usually done.

i agree this is so cool that digimon is so inclusive of the fans and how they address fans even in media. for me one of the things that always stuck with me was how takato the main protagonist for season 3 *created* Guilmon all on his own and how big that was in the series. i saw myself in takato and was so moved that digimon included a person like that not only in the show but as the central character.
I find digimon such a creative and broad thing I can't help but want to create everytime I get into the universe. it's a very welcoming franchise that I just adore and so happy to have grown up with it and still find things about it to enjoy today.
as for original stuff, I'm still quite proud of the first-ever digimon i created called squirrelmon, a rookie digimon that digivoled from chipmunk themed baby and intraining forms, and later into a flying squirrel. i had a lot of fun making them cartoony and giving squirrel mon fun colors such as blue for it and purple for the flying squirrel digivolution. i still think a trickster squirrel digimon who wants to help people while having fun would be a great fit for the series, especially as a potential partner digimon.
i recently got back into digimon and have created my own version of crests called emblems that are based on concepts more than personality traits (ex: past, present, and future). i also have recently made a rookie form for meicoomon since I loved the design even if she was really underused and developed as a digimon, which is based sort of on a liger kit and sort of its own thing.
Ooh! I like the new take on crests! And hell yeah I love squirrels, great idea!

I hadn't thought about Digimon in close to a decade and then UA-cam randomly recommended me a clip from The Digimon Movie and now Ive been on a month long Digimon binge. Now I'm watching UA-cam videos on random Digimon trivia less than 10 minutes after upload. Keep up the great work Karn, you helped hook me back to the only anime I enjoyed as a kid.

When I was in middle school, I designed a Digimon I named Lechirusmon. It was a rookie level digimon that looked like a little aardvark covered in swirl patterns.

I'm disabled, and I used to make fan digimon all the time growing up! I had an evolution line of prongmon, crutchmon, walkermon, wheelchairmon and megawheelchairmon. Megawheelchairmon was, you guessed it, a wheelchair tank with a ridiculous amount of missiles. I also made armor digivolutions for the Adventure 1 digimon, I remember Agumon with the digi-egg of courage was BurningGreymon (pre-Frontier) and Gabumon with the digi-egg of Frienship was StormGarurumon. I had a special dark digivolution kind of thing for Gatomon called Cat's Eye Crystal digivolution into Persephonemon.There were so many more! Ugh, I wish I still had these designs! Thank you for reminding me of this!

I LOVED this! Such a heartwarming production/fan culture going on. It really does feel like supporting the franchise does actually matter because it did almost die at one point, and I feel like it's the fan love that helped it through those times. Really lovely stuff.

I remember when I was a kid I was such a huge fan of Tamers I made my grandmother buy me takato’s golden digivice- American version best I can tell- and designed myself a whole digimon line because I was certain it would become a reality.
Looking back... maybe if I’d bought the red digivice....

I've been watching your videos for like two days and really enjoyed them, but since you're asking about a personal favorite passtime of mine, I'll add a comment to this 7 month old video
I have a ton of Digimon OCs, in fact I'm writing my own Digimon series as a fanfic, known in our little corner of the fandom as a Digimon FDD project
The main Partnermon are
Wemicmon- a rookie level feline Digimon themed after Big Cats, mostly Lynx visually, who is partnered with the Gogglehead, Isamu
Cannismon and Leptomon- twin Rookie level Canine digimon who share a partner in Ju, they are based one of my first Digimon ocs from when 02 first aired
Scorfamon- Rookie level Boar Digimon partnered to Olivia, he's a little ill tempered and protective of Liv's little sister Sammie
Lutrimon- a Champion level Otter-like Digimon partnered to Aki, Lutrimon is naturally talented at basically everything while Aki's a bit of an awkward boy who's not very good at anything so they're dynamic is a lot of fun
Equimon- Rookie level horse Digimon with his partner Masato a loud and brash boy who has a secret sensitive side
Puckmon- A bratty rookie level fae Digimon who doesn't want a partner but his Tamer, Kaiyo, is detemined to get theough his shell and be the best Tamer she can

Shamless plug aside, I have a question for you, fitting along with the theme of this video; are there any fanmade Digimon you wish were real but aren't?
I used to draw all kinds of fake Digimon as a kid! I wish I could find that old notebook...
It's lost to time, but I do remember drawing two Digimon, one based on a raptor and one based on an opossum. I've never drawn it, but I've often imagined what a DNA digivolution between Antylamon and Rapidmon would look like. I've always fancied my crest would be something like Joy or Optimism...
If anyone is really into the idea of creating their own digimon, I’d recommend getting into pixel art and trying to emulate the style of the 32x32 sprites that a lot of v-pets have.
About 3 years ago I really wanted to archive the LCD sprites since no where seemed to have them in a collection, but once you see them all together you start to pick out commonalities. They’re not that hard to get the hang of but once you do they can get across amazing designs in such a small space.

Don't have any art for this idea, but a proper evolution for Calumon. Calursamon, a beast man digimon resembling a bear with angelic wings. He carries a sword by his side and wears holy vestments. As a champion not only can he use his power to digivolve his allies, but he can dedigivolve his enemies. He uses his sword for melee combat since his powers manipulate Digivolution.
Solarcalursamon, an ultimate level Digimon adorned in sacred armor that retains the beast man traits while resembling a bear, but with two sets of wings. Not only can he manipulate Digivolution, but he can create various programs that expand the digital world. He can use his sword to attack foes or use his power over Digivolution to buff his allies and debuff his enemies.
Genesismon, a god man digimon whose armor takes bear-like inspiration and his six sets of wings on his back. Ancient lore has mentioned Genesismon as the creator of several servers to different digital worlds. He is the secret administrator of Yddrasil and spends time dreaming up new Digimon into existence or creating new Digivolutions. As with his previous forms he can manipulate Digivolution and can attack with his twin swords. All forms of Genesismon and his digivolutions are carefree, but will do anything to help allies in need.

When i was a kid i designed a "gold armor" vresion of the dorumon line, where all the doru line digimon that can have a dex form had like a golden form that was a mix of the normal and the dex form, and the golden alphamon would go to omegalphamon instead of ouryuken mode, and that would give the sword from imperialdramon paladin mode. Also i remember i tried to make a full vaccine (or good version) of the lucemon line. Those are the ones i best remember

I Remember creating WereCargorumon when I first saw digimon.
The evolution line would be
GoPromon- a Metal Gabumon instead of having a horn it have a head camera similar to the justice gundam and it can transform into a F-22.
Next would be
Cargorumon-its a Garurumon wearing Bulletproof vest and it is equipped with 6 retractable Dr Octopus mech arms on its body. the fin blades on garuru the are still on Cargorumon and He has Manny pockets similar to doraemon.
The next form is
WereCargorumon-its a Weregarurumon wearing
Flight suit jacket and the EX-gear from Macross he also carries a miniature GN Sniper Rifle II
That can attach to the back of the EX-gear which makes it look like a Tail when not in use.
The retractable Dr octopus arms are still present but they can now act like Fin Funnels.
The last would be
Antikyramon-its the SDF-1 Macross with Metalgarurumon X's head
The Hands are Aircraft Carriers that can launch both Metalgarurumon and SaintGalgomon and there are multiple stationary Metalgarurumon X that acts like anti air guns on its body.
Antikyramon-can Destroy an Entire Universe in just one shot
but it would never do it because its a good digimon.
The digimons that I created may not be the best but I still love them.
You are absolutely killing it with the Digimon videos. I got into the card game because of you and my brother and I have been having a blast. I’m running Gallantmon Red and Piedmon Purple decks.

My fan-made digimon from way back when was 'DinoShockmon', a raptor-like rookie digimon with electrical powers. That went on into the champion level JurassicBoltmon, a stegosaurus with lightning bolts for spines, and finally SkullVoltmon, an ultimate level skeletal Brontosaurus with thunderclouds around its neck. As for a mega? Mega level digimon didn't exist back then, so the line ended there!

@@Karn_EX warriormon in my head canon is the rival to knightmon. Blademon also hade a bio marge form called Mega Guardianmon. Also thanks and blademon was my first ever digimon I made but the burst mode and bio marge form are newer forms
My fav creation was my own original digimon valicemon i did on a old popular Digimon Amino ended up winning third place out of 500 submissions
I remember when i was still in middle school i was really into Xros Wars dub Fusion and i had binged Adventure and 02 so i actually made like 2 or 3 digimons and planned out entire evolution chains with armor digivolution, joggress and up to mega level along with some ideas for fusions. Now that im older im going to see if i can refine the ideas and actually draw them out.

I knew most of these, but I was so surprised about Soundbirdmon
One I’m proud of? That would be an evolution line for a potential partner Digimon for Ai from Digimon Tamers. Don’t know why, but I always felt that Beelzebumon was more the partner Digimon for Mako, rather than for both of them. After all, “Blast Mode!!” came because of Impmon getting Mako’s toy gun.
In my scenario here, Calumon became Ai’s partner Digimon. Calumon being a In-Training/Baby II Level in this case and iirc I called the evolutions I made back then [Blaumon (Child) -> Sarkamon (Adult) -> Paladimon (Perfect) -> Nephilimon (Ultimate) ~> Nephilimon Executioner Mode]. The common trademark was for all the evolutions to have the “wing ears” and symbol on the forehead like Calumon as well as being a Data type Digimon from Child -> Ultimate.
• Blaumon with a white-blueish body with purple at the limps (looking like an older Calumon). A melee fighter making use of martial arts
• Sarkamon has a humanoid body (with similar skin color to Blaumon) but wearing a dark-silver Warrior Robe and a muffler which shows only the eyes, purplish hair and the ears. Also a martial arts specialist and has 2 Axes on the sides as additional weapons
• Paladimon has an even more pronounced human form (while being bigger), wearing a silver Holy Armor and white-gold armor parts for the limbs, all Chrome Digizoid reinforced. The skin color turned brighter and the purplish hair got a silver tone added to it, making it appear to be shining. The muffler also has a metallic shine to it now and provides as much defense as her armor while also functioning as a whipping weapon for emergency CQC situations. The 2 Axes joined together to become a huge Halberd (which is wielded in one hand) and in addition there’s a big shield, almost as big as half of Paladimon. She also unlocked some healing abilities with this evolution (as reference to an angelic trait) in addition to having a “power up while facing a hostile Virus” condition, despite being a Data type
• Nephilimon then is similar to Beelzebumon but instead of wearing clothes like him, the Chrome Digizoid armor set of Paladimon turned into silver-white-gold clothes and bandages around her limbs, granting Nephilimon a higher mobility without losing any defensive capability. The muffler extends now around and beyond her arms allowing for ranged attacks with her weapon. The weapon (which was already big) becomes even bigger by fusing with the shield and is now a Double Halberd with a middle handle (I know this weapon type has a name but I can’t remember it) that can be used as a throwing weapon which returns to the user. Nephilimon also has the ability to tread for a certain period in the sky as if it’s the solid ground, but with full 3D-maneuverability and dimension. Appearance-wise, her skin color has become the whitest possible blue tone, the hair is mostly silver with a purple radiation to it now and the ears aren’t retractable anymore.
• Nephilimon Executioner Mode is a Nephilimon with a Hairpin, which she got from Ai, that joins together with her Double Halberd weapon to become a Halberd-Bow which shoots homing arrows, can be used as the Double Halberd or be split into 2 equally sized smaller Halberds, changing according to the situation. Just like how it is for Beelzebumon with Blast Mode, Executioner Mode gives her 2 pairs of wings in silver (along with being a Data type, it’s to demonstrate that she is on neither side of the conflict between the fallen angels and angels). The “anti-hostile-Virus” condition which carried over from Paladimon is maxed out now and has adapted to an “against any hostile entity” ability instead (because there is D-Reaper to deal with).
I also fought with the idea to have a Jogress evolution between Beelzebumon BM and Nephilimon EM to a Digimon I would have called Asmodeusmon, but I couldn’t settle on it’s appearance other than it to absolutely have 4 pairs of sliver-black wings, dual-wielding Gun-Halberds and having Beelzebumon’s middle eye be replaced with Calumon’s symbol while having heterochromatic eyes.
By now, there is a Nephilimon fanart from someone else on the web, which is an Ultimate Jogress Digimon of Angemon and Devimon Perfect Levels.
Not hating on it, but I liked my idea more. Sorry for this lengthy comment though. Just too bad that I can’t find any of my drawings anymore.
My two main original design Digimon I’ve Drawn was a Electric ghost version of Bakumon called Shockbakumon and a skeleton bat called Skullvampimon
Ooh ShockBakumon is fun! I always like the idea of "ghosts in the machine" electric ghost monsters as a concept

I actually created a Digimon called Ragdollmon that incorporated elements of Calumon, Dorumon, Gatomon (claw glove concept included, but instead of Saber Leomon it's Guilmon X), Wizardmon, Meicoomon, Mew, and a toy fox I still have from when I was a kid. Obviously its name comes from the Ragdoll cat breed, and I made a Toyger patterned Munchkin version.
Me meanwhile sitting here in 2021, having own Digimon OCs as well as designing new lines for money on a more or less regular basis X,D Life is good for a Digimon Fan rn.
I made a Digimon called Moontigremon when I was younger, it was based on a white tiger and had moons for stripes and a star on the face.
My partner Digimon was always called Clawsmon and she had retractable claws like Wolverine. She was champion level and she digivolved into Lionessmon who was pretty much an Angewomon to Leomon’s Angemon.
Karn! I am late to the party! One day, though, one day I will make my debut as an official Digimon creator.

Just pointing out that in Japan, the Claw Game machines are known as 'UFO Catchers' which is what the machine UFOMamemon/CatchMamemon is piloting is based upon.
I also had thought up different Digimon, entire Digivolution lines, and stories involving OC Digidestined loosely based upon myself and my brother, with additional members to fill the roster.
Major Digimon involved included Kokatoomon, with Digivolved into Galamon, etc.; Arimon, an Ant-based Digimon with many branching Digivolutions with the -Arimon suffix, with the first Champion-Level being MilitArimon - as well as Human Antagonists with their own Digivolution Lines that led to some previous villain Digimon, as well as new ones, including Lokimon, Sukkyubimon and Nekoromon/Nekromon.

I made a ton of digimon but my favorite out of them is Magimon, a magic bunny digimon that digivolves to Sherimon. Sherimon is a combination of a magician and a cowboy. It uses its wands like pistols. The ultimate form is Lagomon who looks like Reapmon but a bunny and with Bearmon like hands. I haven't made its mega form yet.
I commented on a different video that I’m working on a Digimon fanfic where the main character has Zubamon as a partner, well the idea originally started out as a spinoff of frontier and I decided to keep the element of spirit digivolution.
The main character Blaze can spirit Digivolve into “Natsumon” a fire Digimon, though unlike most of your basic fire Digimon he is very focused on one-on-one combat and pinpoint prescision. He uses a lot of counter moves. The basic design is vaguely reminiscent of a medieval knight with a sun motif.
I finally have enough talent with drawing that I can design my own Digimon relatively easily now, I wish I could go and show it to little kid me, making my own Digimon was all I ever wanted to do. I'm really happy for everyone with a Digimon that made it into a show :)
I remember I wasn't a fan of Shakkoumon as the jogress of Angemon and Ankylomon because unlike the others, he had no elements of the digimon that made him visible in his design. So I created Clerimon (based on a Cleric from D&D) who was basically Angemon wearing armor made of Ankylomon, wielding his shell as a shield and using the tail as a mace.
I have a Tyranomon that I created...started a few months ago in the spring. It's called KnightTyranomon, a champion level Dinosaur type digimon. It's fields is Nature Spirits and Virus Busters. The scales one can see is a dark red and the armor that adores its figure is made out of dark blue digizoid and seemed to be fashioned after old medieval armor from England. It’s weapon of choice is a knight sword that it can wield in one hand.
I made this Digimon because I don't think there is a Data Attribute Tyranomon...and Tyranomon as a whole needs some more love.

I’m not a fan of soccer/football but I’ve always wanted a strikers style of Agumon and Veemon so like them with uniforms and a meteor soccer ball for Agumon and some kind of tornado wind soccer ball for Veemon just because Tai and Davis played soccer and I wanted that to tie into their Digimon (also maybe a tennis themed biyomon since Sora played tennis and that’s my favorite sport)
Yeah I actually agree, that'd be really fun! It's not like we don't have a TON of Agumon variants anyway haha

I used to draw fanmade digimon back in the school day. My teacher was teaching in class and I did not pay attention because I was drawing fanmade digimon, my ideas was so full in my head that timeand I need to let it out thru drawing. My fanmade that I remember and manage to named it is Dranzomon, MegaloDranzomon, Kaiserdramon and Jetdramon.
I came up with an armor digivolution that follows my hyper-fixation with Lopmon and Wizardmon using the digimental/digi-egg of Knowledge/Power. PaladinWizardmon, a free type that has body proportions similar to Angemon but under the armored portions it has Wizardmon's clothing sized to fit. The face has a mask (like Kakashi's from Naruto). The ears are angled like an elf but are the ears of Lopmon in the color scheme Vice and Virtue Cherubimon. The digimon had Wizardmon's hair and hat, one gold eye (Vice) and one green eye (Wizardmon). It wields a javelin made to look like a double-ended drill. If it weren't for the fact I'd need to upload it somewhere I have two drawings of it that I did. I'm happy just sharing its existence though ^-^

Now that technology has advanced, I wish to see BandaiNamco developed a real life Digimon for as we know what Digimons are, they're basically A.I that can come out of the screen but how cool would it be to have a Digimon A.I that befriends you and do all sort of stuff with you either that they can console you if you're down or that the can help you wake up by being the adorable obnoxious attitudes of every rookie class Digimon but what the basic elements comes back to would be that they are something similar to Alexa with a hub of their own and a screen to show how they look and an app that is installed on the phone to interact on the go. If they make this real, it'd be amazing!!!

One digimon I always wanted to see was wormmons armor digivolution appear more like a Orchid Mantis, since his digiegg had a flower appearance. I also imagined the attack would be blossoming kindness.

When I was 10 I made my own digimon when tamers came out on tv it was a new wolf line. The digihazard symbol guilmon had was cool I put that on my digimon's old design but i changed it to a crescent moon shape when I got older but I do want to bring back the digihazard symbol on him.
When I was a kid I was pretty big on V-mon so I had more of a V-mon OC where he had a sword and yellow shorts for whatever reason, Now as a more knowledgeable Digimon fan I guess that could count as a fan made subspecies of V-mon.
I made a digimon named deadcrowmon it was a big skinny tall figure with a skeletal tail (for some reason, I dont think birds have tailbones like I drew mine) with long talons and a crow skull for a head, out of its long pale arms there were collections of black feathers making up wings, and under the head there were a few black feathers up to the chest area.
I remember making a digimon that looked like a small ball of blue thunder and its champion form was like an electric Maramon.
but what about that weird fever dream I had where Angelamon was a thing.

I'm still working on the digivolution line, but I have a few designs for a digimon fan fiction I'm working on, but I do have the name of the rookie stage: Gallisamon. And I have two variants, that depends on its mental state.
I know thought of a bug digimon idea where the child form was like a cocoon and it will branch out like armor evolutions but depending on how it's raised it can turn into a butterfly digimon, or like a kabuterimon, and any bug adult stage digimon
I once created 4 dark digimentals with 4 dark digidestents inspired by the 4 dark masters of digimon adventure 1. Kind of funny to look at them now
when i was a kid and imagined myself as a tamer, my partner was an OC called Minimon that was basically a Patamon-looking hamster digimon that was pastel pink and yellow haha. i remember dreaming about us going on self-insert adventures with the original adventure cast :-) good memories

my custome digimon was gomamon on two legs, it digivolved into bigger gomamon on two legs and finally BIGGEST gomamon on two legs. idk why tho, tentomon was always my favorite of the adventure crew
I remember as a kid creating a mega level digimon named Knightdramon. He had a shield that could summon a blue dragon from it. Also his sword was shaped like a dragon lol. I was really big into dragons as a kid.

I remember drawing a few original digimon and crests as a kid I just don't remember what they were. Creating digimon especially once you get to the higher levels is a bit more difficult than creating Pokemon
I knew there were some Digimon that were made for contests, but I didn’t know there were that many, much less mummymon, talk about every Digimon fan’s dream growing up. I already talked about my fan Digimon before so I’ll try not to regurgitate that information again, the firefly one. XD
my idea for a digimon is dinomon which is a rookie digimon that's the ancestor of all dinosaur digimon as well as some reptile and some bird digimon, it looks like elecmon but more dinosaur/reptile like and is bipedal, it has a small grey horn on its nose, a very small green stegomon like plate on the back of its neck, elecmon like tails as well as a tail similar to agumon x with a small yellowish club at the end of its tail, it has blue eyes, it's body is red with blue stripes and it's attack is flame spark with is basically an electrified version of agumon's pepper breath
I understand that this video is a few years old - and I may be biased towards this Digimon - but I'm a little sad that there was no mention about how Devitamamon was originally made by a fan and how its design was altered pretty heavily from its original debut. Maybe it's because not many Digimon were as altered as it, but I wouldn't know.
Also, I recently started creating a Digimon line of my own using an old monster design I made as a kid. It and its digivolved forms center around being fast and maintaining that speed even when divine forces (Royal Knights? idk) restrict it with armor that limits its movements; with a Mega/Ultimate form where its spirit remains from exerting too much force trying to escape / use its armor. While the Digimon's names, powers and designs are still a work in progress, I think it will look really cool when it's done.
I have the idea of 12 Digimon based on 12 Zodiac, and the Digimon power will be based on the elements.
For example;
Gemini Digimon: Wind/ Air (like Avian type; Eagle -> Mega Mythical Roc)
Scorpio Digimon: Ice (Feline type; Mega White Tiger)
Leo Digimon: Flame (Feline type; Mega Lion King)
you get the idea... you could change or add if you want...
The Digimon would be from fresh -> in training -> rookie etc...
I'm a kid around 12-14 I like doing this thing where I self insert myself into different shows and I did that for adventures and I'm doing it for 02 (I watch the shows and in real time think of what I would say/do) and I came up with my 01 Digimon evo line it goes konekomon(in training 2) nekomon (rookie) toramon(champion) weretoramon(ultimate) and metaltoramon (mega) and as you can see I took inspiration from garurumon and for 02 btw I didn't know one of the names I have was a Digimon already they were koinumon (in training 2) kitsunmon(rookie) armorkyuubimon (egg of rebirth (that's a whole thing in its self)) angekyuubimon (digiegg of destiny again whole thing) and I haven't gotten to far in 02 so yeah

my original was called tempomon, he was based on a watch I had as a kid that looked like a digivice and I thought it would be funny if he was a drummer (like I wanted to one time) but recently a tempommon appeared lol, so I changed mine drastically mixing some things from guilmon and gumdramon, he is called now Spacetimon (it still feels odd to me because he is a rookie but space and time from what I can understand are the same thing but we see as 2 things, also I doubt that this time this name will be taken).

The "top left one" (7:44) says "Tsurumon". Katakana is not that difficult to learn, and it could help you finding some material only released in japan. If you would be interested, I could link a couple of resources that would make it really easy (I used them while I was learning and they helped a lot).
