You guys should be #1 across the board! It's not just about the bikes that pass through, it's the personalities as well. This is my favorite go-to channel by far! Thx👍
In 73 I was 16,I went down after lying about my age.saving 1000$$ & off I went to cahills in Tampa.mine was green w/black stripes. I had the yellow Preston petty w/black forkbrace..loved that bike!!
Green w/ black strip was how the(250) bike left the Yamaha factory. You were a blessed 16 year old. I turned 16 in nineteen and seventy five, thanks for asking.😂
Beautiful motorcycle! I bought a DT3 similar to this one for around $700 in the mid 1990's. (Not mint, but good running condition.) That must have been the bottom of the depreciation curve, because it would be worth a lot more today! I love the two stroke engines!
Give me stock-original, front fender, paint, suspension, exposed fork tubes, etc. For me, just saying. Don't get me wrong, custom pieces are all done very well and the craftsmanship is quite evident. I personally would rather invest the time and money in making all vintage motorcycles original. But then, it's not my bike so it's all good. Thank you for allowing me to speak my mind.🍻
I love the sound the look & id love to still ride that everyday !’ Another stunner. Call me a Doctor. These 2 strokes make my heart beat fast ! 🚑👍. Thanks so much 4 keeping them around.
Ken/JR., Question...Did the 1973 dt originally come with the metal tire hugger front fender? I like the high fender on this offering, but I know you guys would know this🙏

That is one of the coolest color schemes I have ever seen on a dirtbike. This bike looks amazing, and sounds great too!! Wow!
That is super cool, very tastefully done, I love the sound of those old air cold 2 cycles, that one sounds so healthy.

That color combo is spot on
the low front mud guard that it would have had originally are hard to find the ally front bracket is a standard 1970 yamaha one

Yes. 1974 was the first year a "high" fender was spec'd out for the Enduro line.
