Wow! What a great response. Nigerians need to listen to this to understand the reasons before insulting players born abroad any given opportunity when they feel the player did not choose Nigeria early.
He's so intelligent. Look how he answered the question about how the players are not approached by Nigeria from a young age until these players begin to shine. Now, thats on the part of the NFF, coaching staff, technical team. Its their duty to scout these players, approach them even from an early stage in their career, by so doing, we are going to create a solid team. The earlier the better.
@whymillie and thats why we are not winning anything! Any aspect of Nigeria that's not doing well, we'll say its because of corruption... This same corruption we've been fighting since only God knows when? They've not decided to take responsibility. Perhaps Jay jay is right...an organization saddled with the responsibility to look after football is just another avenue to play political games.
Seriously i watched his game in last match against Galatasaray i believe he will perform very well in super eagles our new coach please give him chance.
@@Omasportstv My brther, well done, greetings first from Jamani. I have a Dutch son and my band comes from Amsterdam. Ajax is my Dutch Team and I watched Akpom play live many times. He is needed in the Team. He can score, dribble, give magic passes, you know football too my brother ands must have watched his highlights, but on the filed of play, he is a general on the pitzch and can wear the 10 like in Ajax, Osimhen will pair with him well, same as Boniface. He has played against Europe's best, even on off days, he is a fighter. For me Iwobi Kelechi should be on the Bench. Help me get it to ring in the ears of the new Coach, he has eyes, very good eyes too. Well done my brother, keep it up, Greetings and much love.
The NFF will not invite him, until he offers them bribe, that's why they have never invited him to the national team. For over four years now, that he declared his intention to play for Nigeria, but the NFF has turned deaf ear, because he hasn't offered them money to be invited. That was how we lost David Alabama to Austria, when the then NFF demanded financial gratification from his mother, before they could invite him to play for under 17 team.
It’s simple…. If you reject us when we needed you, don’t come to us when ENGLAND rejects you also… We are not a dumping ground for England rejects… Period❤… Yeah I know playing for Nigeria isn’t the most promising or glamorous, but if the NFF approaches you and you reject because you want to play for England, then remain steadfast in your choice ….
Shame on a system that sacrifices merit for money.....Somebody saw this person and went for sodiq.....In the name of I like working with players I know.....
This guy is lying nigerian nfa has approached this guy b4 during the period iwobi was also called upon because he was waiting on England call thats why he's never gonna get called up again hes switching allegiance bcos England didn't work out dont he think its a little too late?

@@EmmanuelOkorie-mk1gg if private people could come together it may be very surprising. Can one have a Nigerian league outside of Nigeria? Hmm.
@@EmmanuelOkorie-mk1gg ps have you seen the Indian league?
@@whymillie you are going too far, have you seen the NPFL? The standard is a bit above secondary school inter-house sports.

I don't like how Oma phrased the Mikel question... "You shouldn't have asked if he felt "attacked" by Mikel's comments." Just my personal opinion.🙄
Did Mikel mention anybody's name? What do you mean by "felt attacked".
Of course, you need that to judge a player's temperament
He's lying to himself, most of them refuse to play for Nigeria but the clocks is clocking lately, they'll remember Nigeria
Did you even listen to the interview?
He is not lying under17 is those here
