@@chkntndy7727 Been there and done that. I modded cars since I was 16 years old. I turn 52 in September. Learned through experience that cutting everything out doesn't mean you will get the best sound or performance. Unfortunately many don't get it.

Theres a straight pipe V6 Camaro that drives through my area. I Literally hear it from blocks away. I used to have a V6 muscle/sports car. I understand that people want it to sound more aggressive.
But just because it's loud...DOES NOT MEANS IT SOUNDS GOOD. Please stop doing this.

PSA TO THE V6 HATERS. I’ll take this v6 I got built Makin 460hp for 8,000 cheaper than a stock v8 ss with 440
I had some fairly good sounding setups when i still had a v6 maro. its hard to get quality sound as well as loud volume from the v6s, but it is possible. TRUE straight piped is not the way to go, delete the mufflers keep the resonator and if he still wants sound go with highflow catted downpipes

Give the straight pipe Camaro long tube headers, HFC, and resonated x pipe and it will sound good

To each his own, but around here only teenagers do totally straight-pipe on V6 cars. They run the stop sign across the street from my house and floor it. It's not a good sound.
The last one at the end sounded very nasty and raspy at the same time and you can still hear it from a mile away

There are people who can get over 500+ horsepower out of these V6 Camaros.
Maybe all they can afford payment wise or insurance wise or gas reasons, what does it matter, you're not paying for it.

Higher RPMs, quicker throttle response. You can get way over 500hp out of a V6 with power to the wheels quicker.

I like the 2015 it sounds ok but the 2011 sounds like 💩 straight pipes don’t work on V6s

Was somebody fooling us and ran a chainsaw when the straight pipe camaro was started. As usual straight pipe 3.6 engine sounds loud and annoying. MBRP was not that bad but still its the lousy sounding 3.6.

Nope, less insurance, maintenance, and better gas mileage. The V6 does zero to 60 in 5.9 seconds with 323 HP and the 69 Corvette 427 does it in 6 seconds flat with 430 HP. Pretty badass car for a V6, oh and I own 4 Corvettes too. ☺ ☺
