I had some fairly good sounding setups when i still had a v6 maro. its hard to get quality sound as well as loud volume from the v6s, but it is possible. TRUE straight piped is not the way to go, delete the mufflers keep the resonator and if he still wants sound go with highflow catted downpipes

Disagree, dog shit sounds better. More like the bathroom after eating bad seafood. :) I'm still wiping the stains the sucker left on my monitor screen. I always cringe when I see straight pipe and V6.
Was somebody fooling us and ran a chainsaw when the straight pipe camaro was started. As usual straight pipe 3.6 engine sounds loud and annoying. MBRP was not that bad but still its the lousy sounding 3.6.

Nope, less insurance, maintenance, and better gas mileage. The V6 does zero to 60 in 5.9 seconds with 323 HP and the 69 Corvette 427 does it in 6 seconds flat with 430 HP. Pretty badass car for a V6, oh and I own 4 Corvettes too. ☺ ☺
Not everyone is made of money bud and if you want to pay those high ass gas prices in a gas hog V8 muscle car that takes only premium, you go right ahead
Lol, I guess top fuel dragsters need to start running mufflers so they don't lose back pressure. An engine is like a living thing , it needs to breathe.

While the MBRP is only an axle back it proves again why deleting everything is not the smartest idea. Case in point.

Same people that call their V6 a "muscle" car while I'm passing them in my Civic 💀

PSA TO THE V6 HATERS. I’ll take this v6 I got built Makin 460hp for 8,000 cheaper than a stock v8 ss with 440
Nothing beats the rumble of a V8, you me and the rest of 🌎 planet know this.
Say what what you will, not fooling anyone
the mbrp sounds pretty much stock with a little bark.
the strait pipe is way too raspy for my liking
the one with MBRP sounds good
I had mine completely straight pipped and sound good on a cold start but when driving sounds like a Honda civic so I got me some magnaflows
The last one at the end sounded very nasty and raspy at the same time and you can still hear it from a mile away
Honestly? You were there and measured out a mile?
No it was something i would have imagined if i were out there
Nasty and raspy sounds like shit.
3:09 you remind me of my lawnmower, I wanna cut it 🎤🎶
sweet videos bro. They help me out a lot
Need some tires on that straight piped camaro. That sounds horrible btw. Needs some kind of mufflers
To each his own, but around here only teenagers do totally straight-pipe on V6 cars. They run the stop sign across the street from my house and floor it. It's not a good sound.
dummy with the straight pipe it's a v6 buddy
Straight pipe was better then I thought. You still need to add something tho
i dont get why people buy v6 cars, then dump a bunch of money in performance upgrades
True but what do you drive?
There are people who can get over 500+ horsepower out of these V6 Camaros.
Maybe all they can afford payment wise or insurance wise or gas reasons, what does it matter, you're not paying for it.
Better gas mileage 🤷♂️
Higher RPMs, quicker throttle response. You can get way over 500hp out of a V6 with power to the wheels quicker.
That straight pipe Camaro hurt my ears.
Will these systems fit the 2011? Just curious
The only aftermarket exhaust system that sounds good on a Camaro V6 is the MRT 2 version
I have this on my 2016 and I love it
Not really cuz i got a Camaro RS in mines sound good without it
V6s are one of the engines that should keep the stock exhaust
Not for honda and toyota
I disagree. 4 bangers needs to keep there stock exhaust. I know few V6s that sound like V8s on idle..

MBRP sounds good without being obnoxious 👍🏾😏 love those taillights
Yes they do

That really sounds horrible
the straight pipe camaro would sound better with some decent resonators no muffler vibrant bullet style.
Had an MBRP catback on my MK7 Jetta GLI MBRP makes great affordable options if you don’t wanna throw $1200+ at a decent exhaust
MBPR much better than straight pipe, straight pipe sounds like kids in honda...
Give the straight pipe Camaro long tube headers, HFC, and resonated x pipe and it will sound good
That may be the worst sounding car of all time. The straight pipe that is.
The second one the straight pipe😁😁😁😁😁
MBRP all day long. The straight pipe is way to loud and will drone realy bad.
I have a ton of respect for Camaros, but i just do not like that raspy v6 sound on it. It just doesnt fix the car
Losing that h pipe hurts performance. Getting rid of the resonator give it that nasty rasp and extreme drone.
Not the best decision ._.
I hate seeing any type of dashboard problems
Damn the neighbors hate this man…..
Mbrp sounds more refined or tuned, straight pipe on these is just too sloppy and raspy
why do you mesuring sound in the building

Is it true that a new exhaust can affect your mpg? If it’s true how does that happen
By changing back pressures.
