Penhall couldn't act his way out of a paper bag. I know, bad analogy, but if you saw Chips, you'd know. Should have kept racing and mentoring up and coming stars, I think. I got to see Bruce many seasons racing in SoCal before he went to Europe. When he lined up, the race was usually about who was going to be 2nd. Back then we had the 22 inch rear wheel and knobby tire which made the outside line competitive. Bast and Christian on the inside line and Bruce on the outside. It was very good racing. He had to grab the Hollywood opportunity with both hands.....I will always remember him though as a fantastic speedway rider......
He can be proud he was a major part in a truly golden era .. todays lot dont even come close ✌✌🇬🇧🇬🇧

@mauibill7233: Ya, and i suppose Estrada & Wilcox were the epitome of acting on such a refined show that cHiPs was.
As my wife says a beautiful man & why not earn a ton of money while you can .
Legend of the sport did the right thing .
He done right.. Acting career is a longer one.. Look at Ken Barlow, he's still on Corrie n he's 92..
Bruce Penhall seems pretty 🆒. 😹! I have a crush on him even though I 💕 his blue 👀 very much. He could be a model. 🤔
fantastic rider, although forgone conclusion , cheated fans then walked away
I smelled his feet in the eighties. He wore those boat shoes without socks.
@@felix121984 I picked Bruce's feet, it was in Poughkeepsie.
I wonder if he would do it again. As a selfish fan, I wish he had kept riding.
