- This is the third video of the knee anatomy & ultrasound series. In this video we will discuss the assesment of the lalteral side of the knee, paying attention specially to the lateral collateral ligament, distal biceps femoris tendon an iliotibial band. I will show you how to locate these structures an perform dynamic maneuvers when needed. I hope you find this lateral side of the knee video useful.
These are the best videos on MSK ultrasound knee, I’ve found on UA-cam. I’ve attended many workshops on MSK ultrasound but no one could explain it in so detail. Thank you for sharing this information.
Thank you very much

Question, In case where a patient has a malreduced fractured of the femur (rotation) do you think that we can see a bending or a twisting of the Iliotibila Band ? Thanks

Thanks to you!

Lately in research its stated that ITB sndrome pain comes not from bursa, but underlying fat pad.
You´re right, there is no real bursa in this location. it´s oedema below the ITB tissue (bursa like) and in chronic cases accompanied with a thickening in the ITB itself
unbieleavable, it takes only 10min to clear concpt when i practice on my self. i was so confused in past as i cant recognise the ligament and tendon confidently, so thank u again. is there any english version your book ECHOGRAPHIA MUSKULOESQETALIA.
Hi Abdullah. Thanks for your feedback. If there is no problems the book will be ready in english at the end of 2020
