so how does the court define "consciously disregard"? My guess is purposely and knowing negligence.
this report skipped a MAJOR question that the jurors asked. points deducted for this lack of reporting.
I watched investigators and cops search for her bodies we searched for her with our own dogs in the marsh in revere and didn’t find her everyone was searching except her dad. I pray that he gets punched every day in prison like he punched his baby girl with no remorse or any feelings. She was a paycheck to him I am a recovering addict ten years clean and not all addicts are horrible people l. I know many addicts that are amazing people would never hurt a soul. He is a monster he’s the devil and the fact he wasn’t in court showed it all because he didn’t want to hear that everyone has figured out who he really is .
Wow the guy that spoke is so right about the weather deteriorating the bag.. got me thinking about it. There was tropical storm Isaias that hit the Boston area in Aug of 2020 plus they have had some major storms after that very well could have pushed her body under debris and such to make the recovery even harder.
He should be given a truth drug, in cases such like this it should be mandatory.
I believe that his wife Kayla should be held accountable also

The mother was at another hearing over her other children when Adam was in court for Harmony. The judge should have rescheduled the hearing due to the conflict. The judge didn't research the dad's criminal history.

@@studiosingerI found out actually that the lawyers are the ones responsible. There were 3 lawyers involved. Harmonys, crystals and Adam's. Crystals lawyer lied and said he would beg for a continuance. Harmonys lawyer should have known better. Apparently all 3 lawyers decided it was "in the best interest of harmony" to go with Adam. Also, the lawyers are responsible for bringing up Adam's record. Although I still believe the judge should always be one to make sure who he's handing a kid off to. Sounds like the lawyers were just trying to get this load off their shoulders. Didn't want to fight this case anymore. So they handed her to a criminal, murderer, monster

Every single adult in this little girl’s life that she came into contact with FAILED HER. Everyone from her parents, her step parents, her grandparents, etc. The ONLY person in this case who tried to help her was her father’s uncle but even his attempts failed! Forget Adam, he’s a waste of life. Let him rot in jail. What we need to do is figure out how to STOP another Harmony from slipping through the cracks. No little girl should be living in a car with two drug addicts. That’s what needs to happen now. Let’s talk about preventing another one of these cases from happening.

Vinnie did an interview at some point during the trial about this topic! You are so right, change needs to happen because this is beyond tragic and it was all preventable! I'm pretty sure the interview was with the guy who adopted Harmony's brother Jameson and he was working with some woman to change the laws in a few different ways.
Her uncle tried to get her help. The lazy social worker could have stopped everything. Also don’t know why the judge didn’t know Dad had a very violent life.
I think her foster mother was good to Harmony and provided a stable base for her.

I think practically all adults in Harmony's life failed her. They knew, yet nothing much was done to prevent it. It's so heartbreaking! So preventable had someone really stepped in. 😢
All of the adults in her life did fail her. The only person who loved her unconditionally and never stopped asking about her was her baby brother. I would like to see a law passed in her honor so that siblings are kept together when CPS takes custody of them.

This is a really common fantasy people have about extra judicial punishment, but it just isn't true. Child killers are not frequently murdered in prison. The people who get murdered in prison are the people who are jerks to other prisoners. Chris Watts is alive and well and living in general population. His fellow prisoners like him and call him their pastor!

I think someone should do an audit of this case and somebody at the higher level should be held accountable, and if not for nothing, they need to come up with the harmony's law. So this stuff don't happen again
Questions need to be raised about WHY he was given custody of her. That judge sent her to her death. ALL the adults in her life should be ashamed.

Do you have the record for the judges decision? If you believe Kalya, Adam spent 4 years trying to get Harmony, if he did all the requirements necessary then the law was followed. With that said, Crystal stated she had two courts to be at on the same day her words " it wouldn't look good for me if I didn't show up" referring to his adoption. So Crystal made the choice to show up for court to witness the adoption vs going to court to be heard and be a voice for Harmony that Adam was a monster. Please make that make sense cause I can't understand her choice and never will.

I saw an interview with the adoptive father of her son, he remembers the exact date the adoption was Final and it was not the day that Harmony was taken from crystal. Crystal is lying to cover her own drug addiction and make herself look better.

IMO if she truly cared, she would be pounding the stairs of the judicial system for change not looking for money. This entire matter is so disturbing and disgusting. Not when they house them all together. Thats why they do that. Plus inmates in todays times have relatives check immediately what youre in for. They will have known for years and he hasnt been touched.
@@danidan9917 exactly, Adam will spend his days in PC and be just fine. People need to think that there’s thousands of child killers in prison across the US and they don’t all get killed in there. It’s exceedingly rare that they do. Beat up? Maybe. Extorted? Likely, if they have money, which we know Adam does not.

There is no more Harmony. We all heard what Adam did to her. We all know that her remains are nothing but dust by now. Maybe scattered bones here and there, but that’s it. He annihilated Harmony, completely took her out of the world and now only her memory remains.

Maybe he threw her remains into Boston harbor hoping they'd be washed out to sea, or the river that runs into the harbor. He drove down there with the uhaul. They got him on the ezpass toll camera right near there.
I'm not sure he's smart enough to do something like fully incenerate or with acid... He's only quiet because he thinks he can still be considered innocent, so an autopsy of the remains would just incriminate him further. He will only say it when he admits that he killed her...

What kind of judge would give this monster custody of a child??? He should have an investigation open on the judge. He is partially to blame. A background like Adam’s should have never been given custody. He had DCF involvement as well. They also should be investigated as well. Everyone failed this precious child.

@@danidan9917he confronted Adam when he found out and was so disgusted he moved out. He then told his entire family including both of his parents what he did to her. He contacted Harmony’s mother AND foster mother and told them about the abuse and after that he contacted child protective services to try and get her help. He TRIED to get her help. He may not have wanted to testify but he did, no other adult in this situation did the same! At least he tried.

Sick of these types of cases. Everyone failed her. She suffered. The judges hearing her cases didn't care, failures. Probably the same types of decisions on all their other cases. The social workers, failed. Her relatives, failed. In Jesus' name, this case is disgusting all around.

Thankfully this monster of a father was convicted. Unfortunately I don't think there is anything to find, even if he gives up the location. This sorry excuse of a man is devious enough to have made sure her body is completely destroyed. She didn’t. No one would listen. Watch the press conference the investigators were asked a question about this. No one would listen. This PD was the only one who did. This information and the fact crystal had another court hearing she had to be at and tried getting a continuation has also been information that has been out since the beginning of this case.
She tried, and tried. She even wrote a letter to the mayor trying to get help

The judge, the attorneys, the CPS and everyone who failed her by making obvious errors in handling the case that lead to her death - they ALL must be investigated and made to bear the responsibility for decisions without which she would be alive. They all enabled the killer. Unless the officials responsible have to face the reality of their callous neglect there will be more and more of cases like this, because the lives of these kids do not affect the lives of the people who had the power to save her, and there's little incentive for the officials to put the child first unless they know they're risking their own careers by being careless and neglectful.
How is it the fault of these services? This father killed his own kid. Who could have saw that coming

Joseph Scott Morgan i love this guy. Listen to him so often. I have great respect for him. He's so gentle in talking about victims. I liked that he was so gentle when saying ( not his words) that we most likely never find any remains.

You are correct Vinnie! I felt your tears coming so close to falling on this broadcast. This case and all other child abuse/child murder cases breaks my heart each and every time. As a survivor of child abuse, I speak from lived experience. It is critical to care about children!! It takes all of our voices to be a voice for those children whose voices were silenced. We must keep making noise and be their voices and work to make more progress in protecting children and promoting child abuse prevention. Thank you for caring Vinnie!

I'm so tired of this crap. I have little sympathy for ANY of the addicted adults here. How did Harmony end up with special needs? Why wasn't she placed on the adoption track earlier like her brother? I adopted a child of addicts from foster care. Playing the system. Always selfish. Its never love. Its "ownership". Misplaced guilt or pride. Sometimes you as
"the parent" are just not it. They will always be a risk. If parents have been addicted or out of kids lives for the bulk of it forget it. If you can't get your ish together while pregnant or after then leave the babies where they are.
I don't understand a couple things. How could they get methadone while still doing drugs? Shouldn't they have to pass clean or something to get it? I also think people while on drugs should have to get depo shots or lupron or something. Seems like a no brainer that if people are rocking up on a methadone clinic with 3 kids maybe THAT could've been a clue of not fit. Addiction whatever. Help them but they need to stop breeding only to kill them and cause chaos and destruction. Apparently everyone struggles with infertility except useless addicts. Redistribute the kids to safety and stop getting pregnant during risky behaviors with horrible people you aren't really with. Unpopular take probably but...
As a 20yr heroin addict i can answer your question (i just dont know if it applies to US as im in UK ) But no you dont have to do clean tests to recieve a methadone script - actually the opposite. Ive bobbed between clean & in deep addiction & once in order to try to stay clean have had to actually use heroin to give a dirty test in order to recieve a meth script. Hope this helped.

@@puffpony Thanks for that. I have seen so much data on it being used as just another drug in the kit. Like wanting to cap off at a lower dose to still catch the heroin high. Or using Xanax with it. Obv you want people who actually want the help to have it. But its so hard to get off of. I think Suboxone is better. Its being used now more here. I know its the pharma opioids fault really. I just get mad when the system is abused when people aren't serious (any of the systems generally) And methadone is just the worst drug for babies to come off of. The crying and tremors break your heart, so I hate the mix of that and pregnancy. And then you throw less equipped parents into that equation and here we are. Its a shame the world is so broken. But yes. Peace for that baby girl. And maybe the boys can have a better chance now. I'm sorry for your struggle and wish you well!

Well I can speculate about what he'll do in the future. He doesn't give a sh+t about anyone but himself and he's not going to tell where he put her body. It's one more way to punish her mom and have something over "the system" and the rest of us so he can feel superior.

Witnesses to his abuse reported it to the police and CPS that did not do their jobs correctly. They never investigated it! The judge also granted Harmony into Adam's supervision since her mother was in another court dealing with the other children. The judge should have rescheduled the hearing so the mother could be there and also research Adam's criminal history. The police did their jobs after her death which is being praised, but failure to do their jobs along with CPS and the judge caused her death to begin with.
So many ppl failed this child. From her parents to the lawyers and judges. They all should be held accountable for the brutal murder of this angel.

I don't think her accidents were from living in the car. I think the accidents were from the abuse. She probably knew that if she woke him up or told him she had to go to the bathroom he would yell or hit her. As far as the other kids not crying a lot that is from abuse too.
Adam is such a monster, I doubt he'll ever reveal the location of poor Harmony's remains. Like Harmony's mom said, he craves control. So long as he keeps that secret, he's going to treasure that pathetic little bit of knowledge as "control."

He said that them looking for her was a complete waste of time and tax payer dollars, and sadly I agree. She is completely gone now. He probably threw pieces of her in various locations on his little U-Haul trip, where they would never be recognized as being her remains. As nice as it would be to be able to put her physical remains to rest, it will never happen and people just need to take solace in the fact that she is no longer suffering.
