Wish the they would grate the roads, some of the towns people do it, I don’t know if they get any help from the county but there’s ups, Amazon, Uber, Uber eats, ect , the city should do more to keep the road grated
I think a big pro is the 138 you skip alot of the Cajon traffic I been in Phelan since 2008 love Phelan but a few big cons I think is we need more paved roads and a High school named after the town!lol
@@jcloudz9964 Hi 👋🏻. Impossible to know what you prioritize but…Phelan more developed. Pinon Hills better. What’s most important to you if you’re going to buy?
Derek, Thank you for your valuable information! Regarding water, is there an problem having a private water well in the property to grow trees and supply the home?
Hi, it depends on your personal goal, financial situation, and other factors so you are best served to speak to my team. Let me know if you want to set that up. To give you a broad answer, yes it can work BUT the cost to pull utilities can exceed the cost of the land depending on distances. Phelan will MAKE YOU pull water not to your lot but all the way down the block with is very costly. Text me 760-559-4805 to connect with my team for specifics. Tks!
Hey Derek, I might be contacting you soon. I am currently renting a house + a separate storage yard for my horse corral business. I've been thinking about moving up the hill in Phelan. I live in Eastvale but my yard is in Jurupa Valley. Thank you for the information - Aaron
So my husband and i are planning to move up there but since its only dirt roads we were wondering how the the trash thing work? I know its a random question
Hello. You can get a dumpster where they come and empty it but not the normal city curb style trash/recycle bids except for a small area. Many people bring their trash to the dump here in town. Text me 760-559-4805 and we can go into more depth and answer all of your questions. Thanks for watching and I'm excited to help you!
My son says he's in a program in phelan, does anyone know of any. My son's name is Joshua McAfee he is 22 . He's been missing since Thanksgiving.. please if u know , and ty for ur help..
Likely, many are "off the grid" with regard to electricity, at least. For those using solar, what is the likely utility cost to get water trucked in, propane... What's the likely monthly utility cost for those "off the grid" like this?
Hello, I have a question about the Joshua trees what do I do if I have land that has a bunch of Joshua trees I want to build a home but we can not move Joshua trees. Please help and also people are telling me the house has to be 40 feet from the house that’s way to much
Hello. Yes, it's true. Contact your city building and safety department and they have a company that you MUST use to relocate the trees. BTW, even if they are not close to the house you still have to pay them (I think I paid $700 a tree!!!). It's complete BS and another way for the cities/state to tax people (just my 2 cents). I hope this helps.
They’re beautiful “trees” and we have plenty of them here in Phelan. They thrive on the dry soil so I do not recommend over watering them or they will die and fall over. 😉
@@DerekDeVille do you know how much would it cost to move or re-locate the trees. @@Tina-bt4zl Hi. You can't remove the trees, only an authorized nursery can. You should walk into the city....that's your best best. Sorry that I couldn't locate additional info.
I recently discovered Phelan CA and I absolutely love the style of homes and large lots however I work out in the OC just wondering if you have any feedback on the commute/freeways. Mind you I am okay with the commute I have been commuting 1 hour 15 in the am and 1 hour 30 in the afternoon minimum from San Gabriel Valley to Irvine daily . Any feedback helps. :)
Hi! From Phelan to Irvine it will take about 1 hour and 30 min. Of course, high traffic times can change with a fire in the pass (hours and hours of delay or go through Crestline). Many people in the HD commute to the Inland Empire, OC & LA for work. Does that help/make sense?
