  • When setting up a milling machine speed and accuracy can directly lead to profitability. This is a key reason why integrated probes have become almost mandatory in today’s top shops. The next logical step is to then leverage this technology to insure quality throughout your production run. In-process probing during running in auto mode is a great way to adjust for setup inaccuracies as well as QC parts during production.
In this webinar we will have an opportunity to explore real world programming examples that will utilize the part probing functionality native to the Sinumerik control. First we will look at how to calibrate and utilize probes in your setup process. Next we will explore creating conversational ShopMill programs that will apply the Sinumerik built in probing routines while running in auto mode. Once complete, attendees will have the confidence to apply this technology in their current challenges.
