Giiiirl. I've used crazy color and I apply it to DRY dirty (2 days after last washed) hair, and it sticks so good. Once I actually slept in it and it turned out great 😂
I was going to suggest that you just apply it to dry hair, I always put my hair dye on dry hair, even if it tells you to wet it, I feel that it sticks better. The pink is beautiful xxx
Rachael 🐀 fully agree with this. They only recommend it for damp hair so it’s easier to apply, but on dry hair is sticks so much better and lasts ages!

The pink hair dye I use Is live mauve kiss after the 2nd day it does start to fade to a bubble gum pink! And stays for 4/5 months xxx

Anytime I've ever dyed my hair I've always dyed it on 2nd or 3rd day dirty hair....usually you don't shampoo and dye your hair wet. I could never pull off pink or blue hair..i always stick to box medium/dark brown..im not sure if the colored dyed says to shampoo and apply wet or not?? Maybe that could be the issue.......the color does look so good on you!!!!! I love how your so wild and free! You'll wear crazy hair colors, or wild makeup! You pull everything off so well!!! What lip color are wearing? Super pretty! How do you make matte lips work? It always cracks on my lips or leaves a Ring on the inner portion of my lips so it looks awful!

I love your hair with pale pinks and lilacs in it. Always looks cute on you. My hair is currently a pink by Pravana called "orchid" its brighter/darker than what you have on. Their purple is particularly gorgeous as well.

Pastelly pink looks amazing on you! Try La Riche Direchtions in Carnation pink, mixed with lots of conditioner or hair mask on dry hair. I love it and it gives a very nice baby pink and conditions your hair at the same time 😻

I just had the same thing happen to me when I colored my hair with Adore. I mixed a few colors, and conditioner into it, but it felt like the dye separated from the rest of the conditioner and it turned out with different steaks in places, especially where my hair was darker. Maybe I just needed a darker color, or a more even base.. but I dunno.. I never saw dye separate like that before, like it does with this brand.. then again, I've never mixed it with conditioner until the past couple months, and it happened every time, so I dunno lol. I used a lot more than I normally would, too.
Loving the eye color today. You look great in pink. I don't have enough balls to dye my hair pink. Plus I'm naturally dark brown so I'd have to bleach. But lately I've been considering a different color maybe lilac.

Have you tried fudge paintbox? ive had pink hair a few times and that was the best one i used i think! This was going back around 6 years so not sure if it would still be the same. I do remember thinking the bleach london one was almost as good!

You look like a beautiful Barbie doll! I also have bleached blonde hair and my favorite dye is the Joico Vero K-PAK Color Intensity Semi-Permanent Hair Color in Pink. Mix with conditioner and paint foils with a brush. Lasts forever and is super vibrant! 💗

I love the shade and am 100% jealous!! I have bleach blonde hair now and was going to go pink but have gone into a new job where I don't think I could get away with it 😢 I think you're right, application method is what screwed you over here! Lol. But I like the lighter and darker shades, it's like highlights 😍 I would definitely go in with another coat to even up a little and you'll be perfect, as per usual 😄

I know this is a weird question but what are those squares on your bathroom wall that look like little tv’s with knobs? One next to the mirror and the other next to the door. It’s driving me nuts trying to figure it out! lol
TGRAM7 hehehe they are picture frames from IKEA and they have knobs on to hang towels I think !!! They keep falling down and pissing me off though 🙈
I used to use this all the time when I had red hair, I never had that problem but I have short hair, I found it so easy to apply and it was just like putting in a conditioner. Just go over the “bad” bits. The only thing bad I found was the colour would fade to quickly. Your hair is so long 😱💁

I feel your pain about root growth but mine is even worse. It's ridiculous, I've got noticeable roots within a couple of days. Don't know if you've tried it, but Directions dye is excellent (also vegan and chemical free). I've literally left mine on for a full 7 hours while I live my life with no adverse effects. Love that colour on you btw, it's like pink whipped ice cream x. Flamingo pink by Directions diluted down with conditioner would be your best bet for a good dye the colour you're looking for.
U should try the Superdrug pick & mix range, I always get even results and it doesn’t stain things around the house, unlike crazy colour in my experience. X
Your hair does look really healthy! Are you only bleaching the roots from time to time or all the way?
Oh and are you wearing the NYX foundation here?

R I do bleach baths (mixed with conditioner) on the lengths and pure bleach on the roots - I tend to do this every 4 months or so - it honestly should be in much worse condition that it is - I only wash it a couple of times a weeek so maybe that helps it out ? I have no idea, I just wing it hehe xx 🙈😊

Right now I'm gonna try L'Oreal Colorista in purple 🤗 I got it because it was half off & I need a change. It's suppose to washout in 4-8 shampoos. I think it really depends on how much you wash your hair. I always use cold water & wash my hair about every 4-5 days if I can. Sometimes I do a shampoo with left over color if I have some. And why not!?! 😁

I actually really like how it turned out hun. To me it makes it look more like your own hair as opposed to it potentially looking like a wig which I find long coloured hair kind lean towards otherwise 🤷🏻♀️ If you are going to add to it maybe you could go pastel rainbow (pale purple, baby blue, light pink)?? Unbelievably pretty!!!! Or a super pastel lilac all over next time! 😉👌💜

fellow greek here! i also bought these and i was quite disappointed. It looks pretty cute but what sucks is that u have to buy Candy floss and Pinkissimo if you want a kind of pastel but vibrant color which sucks. Paid 12€ for one single bottle and didnt feel like paying for a second one. Is it worth it? kinda!?!? Idk

barbaragp aww thank you !! The only kind of extra step I take for my hair is I use the L’Oréal extraordinary oils leave in conditioner which I adore !! It smells lovely and makes my hair so smooth!! I use it after each wash xx

what my sister does is that she applies it on dry hair but also covers it with shower cap (tin foil one) and puts hot air with the blow dry so it will make it easier or faster I have no idea but it works on her xx

Mix the colour with 2 blobs of conditioner, and put the mix on dry hair 💕
If it is a patchy hair dye I would do it again. But this time make sure no hair styling products are on and colour it on dry hair. Dry hair absorbs more. I always colour my hair dry. Never wet. Schwarzkopf

Dry hair and leave it on for an hour! Section your hair as you're applying it Anwen. Just try it with a million bobbles or hair clips and you'll see a better application X

It’s not your fault that it’s patchy. It all depends on how light your hair is before, I could before you dyed it that some parts of your hair where a lighter blonde than others, so the lighter bits will always be more pigmented when dyed. I’ve had the same problem so many times with pastel pink it’s a nightmare
Also crazy color is such a terrible brand, it’s 90% conditioner, directions are much more pigmented and last so much longer

It works better if your hair is a little "dirty" and dry when you put the hair dye on. :)
I hate crazy colour dye, I tried it once and it was rubbish! L'Oréal colour dyes are great, I use the lilac one. You should give those a go, and also split your hair into more layers for a more even result :) xxx
Parts of your hair were too yellow to go pale pink, the parts you like best are where your hair was white.
And yes you didnt apply it well, do it in layers, use a dye brush, comb it through with a wide tooth wet hair comb.
This dye doesnt damage so i always leave it on for 45 mins.
Judge me unforgiven - any other advice, doing my daughter crazy cotton candy, after I bleach it, do u thi k I should try a silver toner to rid any yellow tones before applying the crazy colour
Tracey Wheeler I’ve never tried that. You’d have to be careful the silver wasn’t too dark for the pink to work. Some silver shampoos if left on can be strong and leave a blue or purple tinge that light pink wouldn’t cover. What I would advice is buying Olaplex 1 & 2, and use that in the bleaching process, and bleach her hair really light. The Olaplex stops a lot of damage. I use it and my hair has vastly improved in condition.
I used 6% peroxide, and a steamer, I have really dark brown hair and I lighten it to a light yellow in two or three steamer sittings about 30 - 45 mins. The steamer aids the prices allowing to use lower %, so less damage.

@@JudgeMeUnforgiven yeah used Olaplex before, it's just her hair is totally virgin mid brown around a 6 with some warmth, so I know we're going to have to get it to white/ash tone as if any YELLOW the cotton candy gonna go orange, and we don't want that....lol thanks for your input dont have steamer but have hood dryer for heat.
Tracey Wheeler It’s worth investing in a steamer as they use moisture in the process. So the bleach stays active longer.
Also bleach is at its best 20 mins after mixing. So I do my hair in two section.
You did it the right way, the problem is the shade you chose, I know because I’ve used crazy colour before, I did exactly the same you did with other shades and everything was perfect but “Candyfloss” and “Platinum” did absolutely NOTHING to my hair, your hair needs to be fully white, otherwise the colour won’t set... anyway, I tried Herman’s Amazing this year and I really loved it, more than Crazy Colour ones, you should check it out, the shade “Polly” is a pastel pink :)

Also a good way of keeping your colour topped up is to put some colour in your shampoo and conditioner.
I second this. You can buy a darker shade and add a couple teaspoons of it to the conditioner to make a pastel pink.
I found through trial and error, in a bowl put the hair dye in first, put a splash of conditioner and mix mix mix, then add more conditioner in big sploshes, giving it a quick mix after each splosh.
Sometimes if you add the dye to conditioner it doesnt all mix in properly and can dye patchy. So dye first, then conditioner.
Your white hair much more prettier
Some colours are worse than others - it's not you! I used a red I can't remember off the top of my head from time to time and it works amazing, but then I tried the Burgundy (shade darker) and it just wouldn't take, it was SO patchy but luckily wasn't as noticeable due to my hair not being blonde. Manic panic and LA Richie /directions (can't remember 😂 but an eBay search for vegan hair dyes will show it 😂) colours are so much better trust me. After my hair dye disaster, I moved to LA Richie and have been using them for years now 😂 hope this helps! X

Hun look on amazon, the hair dye u used has really bad reviews, about it being patchy, in some cases not doing anything! So tht might be why! Try the live mauve kiss is what I’m wearing in my pic hear. Might go teal next xxx

You’re hair has to be completely dry when you dye it well that’s what I learned in cosmology school 10 years ago. I would never dye a client’s hair while wet. I was watching this cringing because I know it would be patchy. You need to take what was left in bottle and spot dye with Plastic wrap. To try and even it out. That’s what I would do for a client.

I'd love to have an "alternative" hair colour but there's something in my work contract against it. That always annoys me, my ability to do my job wouldn't be affected by my hair colour. A lot of our clients are celebs anyway so I'm sure they wouldn't give a ha'penny jizz if I had pink hair. I have to wear their crappy uniform, they could at least let me have purple hair. I used to work in a police control room and one of my colleagues had amazing mermaid green hair and no one turned a blind eye. Mind you, work might also say, "Fiona (real name), you're knocking 53 love, time to grow up" but I have no intention of doing that anytime soon. The thing is, I could be as grey as a badger under the many layers of Garnier 6.34 Dark Red but I've no intention of finding out. Maybe I'll wait until I retire. I'll probably end up as a mad, old bat with 12 cats who mutters to herself in the bread aisle at Tesco anyway, I might as well do it with fabulous hair

The brand doesn’t have good reviews. But honstly I think the sloppy application also didn’t do it justice. Application on dry hair ususally works better, but more important, section your hair, and put time and effort in application, and really rubbing the dye into your hair. To me it seems like you just put it on your head and that’s it, like this chances get even bigger that you get patches. Just a tip for next time 😊
Don't wash your hair for at least 24 hours before dying it and put the dye on dry hair.
Girlie you never apply your hair color good. You do the roots first and work it through to the end. Comb it through after it's applied so you know the hair it covered.
Have you ever tried Splat? That's what I'm using in between salon visits. 😊
I've never done it like that! Hairdressers always told me to apply from ends first and roots last because roots take the colour more quickly, ends are more damaged and need more time to process.

Your hairs have to be white like the pieces in the front of your hair who become pink. The rest is not light enough

I don’t Know why I thought I hadn’t used this brand before lol...I have used it 100’s of times ( mostly for when doing rainbow hair ) the one thing I would say about it is that the colour transfers onto your hair by being agitated ...so make sure you work the foam up until it’s just fluffy and white or you will end up with patches xxxx
