Imagine playing iceborne for hundreds of hours just for the handler to explain the basic game mechanics during endgame content.
You’d be surprised at the number of people online who manage to reach the endgame and still don’t understand the basic mechanics, such as the clutch claw

Aphy Hentai no not at all. Soloed every quest in iceborne and didn’t know you could flinch shot and wound monsters head. It’s not getting carried at all. It’s just being ta wiki.

this is sick I love it but it would be fun to see a speedrun where the goal is to do all of the siege missions. Like a 100% speed run!
David Johansson this is hard. But i have done couple of them. I dont know ur definition of speedrun. But if u wanna break all parts and finish it full energy in one siege, it has to be at least 16+minutes. First stage adept storm slinger 3 aquashot. Adept stormslinger flinch safi to oneside and make him flinch into the ground. Then boulder right when he is about to get up. During all this time, 3 aquashot shall destroy all 2 wings and back, probably part of the head if they have aquashot meta with part breaker 3. If lucky, safi goes directly to 2nd level. If not, flinch safi to second boulder or make him sink into the ground again. If this happen, they shall be able to break both hindleg and partial head. Second stage, all dragon melee weapon(dragon seal high). Goal is to break 2 front legs before safi goes to third stage. Not much to cover on stage 2. Stage 3, one aqua, one melee(tail) 2 status. In stage 3 the aqua dude shall always have safi aggro and destroy its head completely before killing. The melee dude shall severed safi tail in 2 supercritical and change to aqua to help break hindleg if stage one is not a one flinch boulder clear. Or he can de what ever he want. The 2 status shall stun safi and mount safi as much as possible they have to be dealing tremendous amount of dmg too. The aquashot who have safi aggro shall also sleep bomb its chest(broke chest) and paralyse it when its in super critical. Flash as much as possible. Part breaker 3 is a must. Not like you have a choice
If all these are done correctly a siege breaking all safi part in 18 minutes is possible. Of course there will still be energy left unless there are 2 groups.
This way you can get at least lv14 prize and finish all in one run. Sounds hard right? Dont attempt to do this in one siege. Not everyone is as good as us. Not everyone has friends that are really into MHIB. Try your best breaking safi part in 2 siege and receive a lv16 rewards. Break wings back head (chest or tail) and foreleg to secure.

What is the reason for using the Shattershield in the first phase and the Drakshield in the second?
Lol I do this quest with mr 999s who have broken builds and with no energy on safijivaa but still manage to only do quest in 11 mins.
Josh derp It’s all the same stuff with the builds dude, mostly it’s efficiency, demon powder, and mega demon drugs that does the magic. And it’s not just hitter by the monster, they do calculate this stuff and get perfect runs to put it in the speedrun category.
I have a question about CB’s if you see this please answer. Does savage axe do more damage than SAED? Also, is it better to make a savage axe saed mixed set or specialize one or the other?
Savage does more damage but leaves you quite open so it’s best used when you can keep the monster knocked down. Also saed damage is only affected by raw attack and phial damage (artillery) whereas savage is dependent on elemental.
SAED usually deal about 1300-1500 damage. With savage axe you can deal up to 3000 damage provided you have a huge window to attack and you manage to use all 6 phials with the infinite savage axe combo.
you better learn to manage both style base on situations.
Savage Axe play style is quite difficult, because you cannot move or guard well and it is harder to make builds for because it eats your sharpness super fast. I only use savage axe play style with non elemental CB, because the nonE builds have masters touch.
All my Elemental builds are SAED spam builds, because they don't have masters touch and you can just stack elemental attack up as much as possible.
Savage Axe does a lot of damage, but it's very difficult to exclusivly play savage axe. I only use it sometimes. You see it in speedruns more often because it does more damage, but it only works if your totally controlling the monster
actually elemental Savage style is very powerful with True Crit Element - even when your sharpness decreased to blue it still equal or stronger than master touch build+white sharp (for example: Glavenus CB vs Velkhana).
Safi's gonna have a fucking sore ass toe after this.

Quick Answer: No people can`t join via SOS.
However, they could join the quest even after you start if they are in the same session as you

why do you switch to full ice at the last phase? dragon element should still be stronger because of the elder seal no? or is there a special strategy with the absence of elderseal?
I guess because dragonseal is only useful to make safi absorb less energy from the ground and in the last phase safi doesn’t do it anymore, so he goes ice to have more element dmg
Yesterday I got with a random group and we killed safijiva in 7 minutes 49 seconds.
