KIA Niro 2022 VCU Neutralization on Bench Using AVD, CB403 and ZN051 ABRITES Distribution Box

How to neutralize a VCU (Vehicle Control Unit) from a KIA Niro 2022 (EV) on bench. This functionality is part of the ABRITES HK010 license for Advanced Module Neutralization and works for ALL Hyundai/KIA electric vehicles!
It also works for neutralization of the ECU (Engine Control Unit) for all non-EVs (petrol-powered, diesel-powered, hybrid and plug-in hybrid vehicles) on bench (only for vehicles with smart keys or vehicles with external immobilizer).
First, take the VCU out of the vehicle and follow the instructions for connection. In order to establish the connection, I am using the ZN051 ABRITES Distribution Box and the CB403 Cable Set. Also, the ZN074 ECU Reading Set is used for power supply. So, connect very carefully as shown, use the provided splitters where needed (GDN and IGN), then open the software.
Manually select the vehicle brand and year from the dropdown menu. Then choose the Neutralize option from the menu to the left. Make sure the first type of connection is chosen - DSBOX V2+. Check the state of the VCU before you begin, it should be NOT neutral. After that, proceed to Neutralize the module.
Important: Wait 5 minutes for the procedure to complete! Do not interrupt it!
After the procedure is done, check the state of the module, it should be Neutral. Now you can adapt the VCU effortlessly! Keep in mind that, depending on the make and model of the vehicle, the keys might need to be re-learned to the vehicle when done adapting the module.
