- At 15:10, an immature bald eagle swooped in, eager to steal Shadow’s fish! It’s possible the fish was meant for Jackie, but when she took off to handle the territorial dispute, Shadow claimed it for himself. Jackie made sure to vocalize loudly as a warning before taking off, leaving Shadow to defend the prize and tend to the eggs. An exciting moment of eagle teamwork, with a little twist of kleptoparasitism from the subadult!
