    This is sooooooooooo helpful! I have chronic hives and I've had issues having the doctors taken me seriously. I have video and photos. I am looking for another doctor now that will take me seriously.

    I developed this condition in lockdown. It's winters here and I am get hives and itching since last 3 months. Why am I getting this all of a sudden? The only thing I am allergic to is dust but I only get a throat infection because of it. Never had hives ever in my life. What's causing this?

    Oh man I've had chronic hives every day since 2014. Idiopathic. 😭 It has gotten better over time but it's still really annoying.

      Hives and allergies are so annoying and bothersome, I hope it's not bothering you as much!

    I get this too! I take Pepcid twice a day, 2 zyrtec twice a day, and benedryl as needed. My allergist things it's probably mast cell disorder rather than chronic hives as it hasn't lightened up and I've been hospitalized twice when it got bad enough to need an epipen. But yeah, I feel you.

    • @TheRawLife1

      Wow. You may have mast cell.
      Keep advocating and never stop being positive!

    Hives can be idiopathic which means there's no known warning or cause.

    My 25 year old son has hives. It started in high school. He was tested extensively and nothing came back positive. It seems that his condition is related to stress. It started when he was taking exams in high school, and it has flared up when he had finals in college, job interviews, etc. He's tried a lot of antihistamines and finds Allegra to be most effective for him. It seems like his episodes are becoming less frequent now as he is managing stress better.

      I'm glad that he is able to manage his stress if it triggers the hives. I hope he is doing well and continues to do good💚🤗

    I have chronic hives as well 😬 I had a bad case of hives out of nowhere a few years ago I had to give myself an Epi-pen and be rushed to the ER, I had hives all over my upper arms, chest, and neck. Then last year I got diagnosed with multiple food allergies (explains all my stomach pain) and I am allergic to everything environmental 😷

    • @TheRawLife1
      @TheRawLife1  4 роки тому +1

      Thankfully that only happened to me once where we had to go to the ER but now I just keep it at bay with benadryl and make sure I'm paying attention to it as it can happen very fast.
      Paul is also allergic to everything environmental too lol

    I have chronic hives. My dr refuses to give me an epi pen. We are not sure what it is causes it it. They say because i do no the trigger i can't get an epi pen. I tried photos and sent it to my dr.

    • @TheRawLife1
      @TheRawLife1  4 роки тому +1

      Okay, if you don't know the trigger that's more of a reason to have an EpiPen just in case
      I hope that you can get the results and help you need💚👍🤗

    Really helpful video, looking forward to the series! PS. I noticed you & Paul both used the word allergenist but just wanted to let you know the proper term for allergy doc is allergist ;) just for future reference!

    When I was a baby doctor told my parents I had Eczema now few years went by with dealing with the hives and rashes everywhere with creams then I got diagnosed with food allergies I was a teenager by then and didn’t care about it... Last time my rashes and hives got so bad I went to the doctor she said oh no this is much worse than typical Eczema you have Autoimmune disease and it is in your gene 🧬 on both side of your parents!

    • @TheRawLife1
      @TheRawLife1  4 роки тому +1

      Wow, its crazy how some doctors will just write it off as something just to not deal with people sometimes.
      I hope your doing well💚💚🤗

    Can you both carry a Epi- pen for the chronic hives. Does the medicine Jeneice take cause the hives.

    • @TheRawLife1
      @TheRawLife1  4 роки тому

      We both have an Epi-Pen handy at all times thankfully.
      And I'm not currently on any medication to be causing these symptoms that I'm having of hives.

    I don't have chronic hives but I am allergic to a lot of things that CAUSE me to itch like crazy. And with my fibro I randomly itch like crazy for no reason but without hives or rashes.

    • @TheRawLife1
      @TheRawLife1  4 роки тому

      Paul is allergic to a lot of environmental things, not so much food thankfully. But it can very frustrating dealing with any type of itching and being uncomfortable
      I hope your doing well,🤗💚👍

    Thank you Janiece & Paul! Great information and perfect timing!!! I'm in the process of being referred to a specialist in allergy & immunology after an episode of angioedema last week that included tongue swelling. Liquid Benadryl helped but I was still pink & a bit swollen the next day. They prescribed Decadron (a more potent H1 blocker than Prednisone with a half-life up to 72 hours) & Pepcid (H2 blocker). I don't get uticaria (hives) often, but had an episode earlier this year- episodes are typically idiopathic, but also in response to certain medications. 💚💚💚💚

      Oh wow. I'm sorry your going through that right now. I hope you feel better and the new doctor is able to help you find relief asap! 💚

  • @josephmiles5370
    @josephmiles5370 2 роки тому

    Yep, watching my hives fade day after day until they completely vanished was such a relief, I went with what I pointed out and within the first 10 days or so the urticaria was barely visible! I simply go'ogled the latest updates by Shane Zormander and after 20 days my skin has never been healthier!
