25 hours is literally the least amount of time I've ever heard someone play Skyrim for.

For the saving there’s a option in settings that you can set a timer for how often you save

To be clear, Skyrim has event-based auto-save (for example, when you sleep and when you fast travel) but not time-based auto-save. Fortunately, it has single key quick save and quick load in addition to the mods. I'm surprised that the inventory screen didn't make your top 3. I suspect that once you accumulate some more junk in your inventory and start losing time trying to find that one quest item, you'll need to make a revised version of this video. :)

So let me know if I have this correct. Comparing Skyrims combat with games that are focused on combat rather than being a way to defend yourself while giving you a broader experience. Needing the game to save for you when all you have to do on PC is press F5 to save. Lastly not being a fan of side quests when they mainly serve to get you into areas for weapons, armors, spells and are a good source of extra gold. The side quests serve to show you around the game more than anything. They are the vehicle for the devs showing you where things are. Sure you can explore on your own, though you can find things really early if you hammer out those quests as a new player.

I’ve spent more than 25 hours chopping wood in towns and sleep at the local inns. 😂

The thing I hate most about Skyrim: Fistfight a guy nearly to death. Two minutes later: "You've been a good friend to me. That really means something."

Great video, as always! I think the title is a little bit too strong here, but loving the content. Keep up the great work!

Three things I hate in Skyrim
    1. How just about every other location outside towns and settlements contain baddies to kill, how all the dungeons are just kill baddies and have the same twisty layout with low levels early on and a higher rank at the end with a chest or dragon wall. It makes the game very samey when you're just going to locations to fight enemies, there's so many things they could do with locations and they're mostly just kill grounds. If you've been to one cave you've pretty much been to them all in terms of the gameplay you'll experience.
    2. The skills relying on doing whatever the skill is to level favours a combat-focused approach to gameplay and punishes roleplaying skills through having them being a grind to level up. Want to level sneak? Just sneak around like you would anyway in the hundreds of dungeons the game provides, you'll get a high level easily. Want to roleplay as a skilled blacksmith? Craft hundreds upon hundreds of daggers using resources that'll take you hundreds upon hundreds of hours to get, or cheese the system and still take a good hour just to get halfway decent at smithing.
    3. A minor one, but something that's always kind of bugged me from day one is how enemies act like you ran off after they defeat you, basically there's no victory quotes for enemies. It'd be less rage-inducing and maybe even a little funny if an enemy celebrated in triumph, or said something psychotic, or did anything all that indicated they just fought you instead of saying "hmm, must of been the wind" moments after killing your character.

    1) Ngl... If combat would've been souls-like I never would have played Skyrim again... imho it's the worst kind of combat system for me :3 but yeah... each their own
    2) You can set up autosave in the game settings. All the way down to each 5 minutes. Hope that helps :)

UA-cam algorithm finally bringing me quality channels!
Combat is in fact the clunkiest and most unrewarding aspect in Skyrim. Things just die, *insert that clip of Rick and Morty in the Oval Office*.
In vanilla, the UX of the inventory is notoriously atrocious as well.
Spells also tend to all feel the same to me because of the lack of diversity in the animations.

    Okay, fair points made.
But I'll just toss this one in too.
Skyrim, a game that is such a sandbox, modders are actually the developers than the employers were. (Not that I'm going after devs, I blame the dickheads who thought spending the majority of the budget should be spent as a bonus check for rushing a clearly unfinished game out into the market)

Imagine playing Skyrim for the first time.
    I'm so jealous.
(side quests were never important in Skyrim, better to do just main storyline, daedric quests and the factions you like, side quest is just filler there are at most a few good ones)

25 is just scratching thr surface. While being one of thr weakest games alongside arena skyrim is an amazing game.
It does benefit more from mods than other games tho. I almost never play vanilla anymore.
