Great cars, few people have woken up to how good they are. That will change and many will regret not buying them when they were relatively cheap! Enjoy yours!
Thanks Simon, two parts warrant this genre. I was never a Ford person but have to say, it's the only marque that has been truly saved by all the enthusiasts & I take my hat off to them. It is so great to see the efforts and lengths Ford enthusiasts go to and I really appreciate seeing them today.
Thanks Chris, the affection for Ford is clear, most people ‘feel’ it’s British rather than American! I simply had so much content I couldn’t edit it, so hence the two parts.
5000 cars !!! That must have taken some organising. I think everyone has got a " Ford story". My first car was a 1975 Mk 2 Escort 1.3L . I don't think I would have had a social life without that car !. Many happy memories. Bet you were exhausted ( & your camera) after that day Simon. Thanks for the trip down "Memory Lane".
That felt like just the parking area Kevin. You’re right about everybody having a Ford story, when I added up all the ones I’ve owned and the company ones I’ve driven I got to nine including four Sierras!
Not going to lie there is something I find very appealing about that 4x4 transit. That's really cool. I like the Sierras to, both the GLX Nd the XR4i (which I still prefer the look of over the Cossie). Remarkable that ford spent the money developing different body panels to the other three door models. I saw a LHD Fiesta Supersport last year, incredibly rare cars these days. I was t previously aware of that escort Harrier. I'd love to see that centre console in more detail. Looks like a very interesting period audio upgrade. Cool to see the MK1 Mondeo touring cars (or replicas). I always liked the styling of the first generation Mondeo which I remember looked so modern at launch. Someone I know bought an old MK1 several years ago for £500, ran it for about three years with little to no cost and then sold it for £500. The mk1 Focus RS I can see being a real collector car. The Ford probe never really did take off in the UK sadly but it's nice when you occasy see one these days. The Ford Sport Ka looks great. The 1.6 engine was still only an 8v with less than 100 hp but how much power do you need. I think they had a slightly wider track than the standard models too. We had a 2004 1.3 Collection (the updated 70bhp engine). It was a bit asthmatic at higher engine speeds but it had a great chassis, sharp steering and preciigear change. Really fun cars but sadly so many suffered from corrosion in the rear arches and fuel filler.
Thanks Mark, the affection for Fords is incredible in the UK, I was shocked when I realised I’d had nine myself! The 4x4 transit was something else, especially with the period touring car livery but always wanted a Sierra 4x4!
Thanks for watching and commenting, pity I missed the rare RS500. Absolutely brilliant that you made the trip all the way from the Netherlands, I hope you enjoyed your day as much as I did!
@@Lot76CARS nothing like this! There is something that is called EFE and they try to be as big as FordFair but not even close. It is oke and there are some Fords from the UK.
Massive ford fan but sadly the mass market ford fair attracts is the chav section who simply want to pop n bang, so many clubs and enthusiasts boycott it for diverse events not under kelsey media control
There was a bit of that I totally agree, a different vibe to the Ford Nationals I attended a while ago. I just sought out a cross section rather than filming multiple Focus Cosworths… nice as they are!
There was 400 of each colour limited edition Mk6 Fiestas made, you was correct with the colours. I have one of each colour
I am the Welsh man!🤩 thank you for sharing my ford🤗
Excellent!! I love the livery, not another one like it on the day, brilliant Neil!
cant wait for 2024, think its so awesome that people come from all over to silverstone
So nice to see my old mk6 fiesta anniversary! miss that old car
Was great speaking to you thanks for including my MK1 fiesta Ghia in your vid
Nice to meet you too. Hope the journey back went smoothly, the car was in stunning condition!

Thank you for uploading! Really wanted to go but couldn't due to family commitments, cheers.
my first visit to FF, amazed about the size of the event!
My transit 4x4 glad you like it
Andrew, it’s immense just as a 4x4, but the touring car livery lifts to another level.. totally unique, I love it!

Love the review on my mondeo and transit 😂
Many thanks, so many memories of my own Mondeo back in “94
@17.59 you see mine with the Dutchies at the Ford Team Zuid Holland stand. But if you walked a little bit further you saw a genuine Ford Focus RS500.
