- Huangshan (黄山), often described as the "loveliest mountain of China" has been an inexhaustible source of inspiration for poets, painters, and travelers for millennia. Located in the southern part of Anhui Province, this UNESCO World Heritage Site encompasses a breathtaking landscape characterized by its four unmistakable features: peculiarly shaped granite peaks, verdant pine trees growing out of seemingly impossible places, ever-changing seas of cloud, and a profusion of hot springs.
The name Huangshan, literally translating to "Yellow Mountain," is said to derive from the legendary Yellow Emperor, Huang Di, who is believed to have ascended to heaven from here. The mountains are often shrouded in mist, which adds to their mystique and beauty, creating an ethereal atmosphere that captivates anyone who visits.
A trip to Huangshan offers more than just scenic views; it's a journey through a significant part of Chinese cultural heritage. The area is dotted with ancient villages where time seems to have stood still. Hongcun and Xidi, two of the most notable villages, are recognized for their well-preserved Ming and Qing dynasty architecture and have also gained UNESCO World Heritage status.
One of the must-see locations on Mount Huangshan is the Bright Summit Peak (光明顶), the second highest peak of the range, offering stunning sunrise and sunset views. The Begin-to-Believe Peak (始信峰) is another favorite, famous for its ancient pines and breathtaking vistas that make visitors "begin to believe" in the profound beauty of nature.

These mountains are really exstrordinary ,it is not comparable to any mountains all peaks are vertically pointed very difficult to claimb,we appiciate Chinese people at the old age also I have seen many old people dare to claimb the mountains ,how difficult to make steps even at heighest levels.
Indeed, the unique topography of these mountains presents a challenging climb. Fortunately, cable cars make it much more accessible, allowing people of all ages, including the elderly, to enjoy the stunning views without the strenuous climb. 🦆

Acabo de pegar un grito Tarzánico, jajajajaja..😂... pero de dicha y emoción, no porque me picó una araña, mi queridísimo Equipo Duck, ¡¡ Que Senderismo tan inusual, pero Divino !!!! Subiendo y bajando graderias, Esto fué de vértigo corrido, ustedes saben amiguitos Duck que me identifico con la roca, con la piedra viva, ¡¡ Santó Cielos !! Esas copas de los árboles casi al alcance de la mano, en el minuto 13:59 había una roca que emergía de la profundidad del abismo dando la impresión de ser la parte interna de una garra felina o de Oso, con sus afiladas 5 uñas como lista para dar un zarpazo, hay Duck me hiciste pegá otro grito jajajaja 😰😱 temí un accidente, me asusté por tu seguridad, cuando te trepaste a ese peñón para enfocarnos mejor los repliegues y profundas grietas de las montañas que aveces intimidan , como presumiendo su imponencia y majestad, hacen sentir su personalidad, pero preciosas de todas formas muy claras y al fondo en la lejania la cordillera envuelta en su bruma azulada, con sus lagos color turquesa..gracias Duck por ser tan valiente y correr esos riesgos para darnos esa satisfacción a tus seguidores de que sintamos en vivo como si estuviesemos ahí, ¡¡ oye que observatorio tan hermoso !!.. Ooohhh !!!.. EL TUNEL 🤩 EL KIOSKO😍 ...Los monitos .🐒.Hermosos y los viejos pinos 🌲y la osada inscripción en el muro , todo muy lindo , Equipo,.... y me lo gocé muy estaciada y aveces sobresaltada jajajaja, gracias Duck por arriesgarte .- Te queremos un montón...❤ !!!

@@DuckTravel Duck ven y te explico lo del grito Tarzánico: lo que sucedió es que cuando ví al monito del poster promocional del Monte Huangshan, de Anhui; no pude evitar recordar al protagonísta de la famosa novela del escritor estadunidense Edgar Rice Burrouhs, esta obra se desarrolla en la selva y Tarzán personaje ficticio criado por chimpances viaja con una miquita llamada chita quien es su amiguita inseparable y Tarzán en sus aventuras cuando triunfa sobre sus enemigos se dá fuertes golpes en el pecho y lanza un tremendo grito de victoria así ¡¡¡ aaaeeeeaaeeeaaaa..!!! Jajajajaja😅 ..mas o menos...tendrias que verla para entenderme mejor...bien divertido lo han hecho Hollywood y Disney ...y ... bastante que han facturado con esta obra.. :)
