Thanks for letting me know the video was helpful! 🙂 Finding the right terminology can be tricky, as often things are called be a variety of names. Happy creating!
I bought a chain of cup-chain because it was on sale. I had no idea what it was called and didn't know what to do with it. I didn't even make jewelry at the time. Thanks to you I now know what to do Thanks so much.
I am new to making jewelry and would just like to say thank you for this video! I have seen cup chain. But was unsure of how to use it. I have so many ideas already! also I would just like to say you are a great teacher. I recently subscribed to your channel. I find your voice soothing and your instructions easy to follow. Thanks again!

Do you know how I can thread elastic threw the cup chain to make a stretch bracelet? I can’t find any tutorials but yet I’ve seen stretch cup chain bracelets in many places. Thank you!
That's a tricky one, McKay! The easy way would be to purchase individual empty cup chains that have holes you can string through, like you see here: www.gita-jewelry.com/en/school/a/tutorial/?ContentID=953 Or, if you look at cup chain you have, you'll see an "H" shaped connector holding each cup to its neighbor. (You can only see the center bar of the "H", but the bits on each side are what's keeping it in the cup.) If you remove that bar, it will leave a hole where you can add stringing material. It would be tedious, but accomplish what you want to do. :-) Hope this helps!
Wow, that's an interesting question, Donna! Since the cup chain isn't stretchy , you'd have to have a design where it was bunched or gathered up somehow. The only other thing I can think of would be to replace the little metal bars that hold the cups together with some elastic. Seems like a tedious process to me, though. Suggestions, anyone?
Yea that would be way to much work. My daughter has bought some bracelet made with the cup chain but had a elastic running threw and underneath and I was just wondering how they did that. Without putting so much work into it. To buy them they can be pricey. Thanks for your help...
Finally I have the proper name of the findings needed to connect rhinestones to jewelry.
