Lessons Learned From HHN32: Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights 2023
Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando Resort is undoubtedly the most epic theme park event each year, especially as every year all the haunted houses, scare zones, shows and entertainment are completely refreshed so its new every time.
This means that for us serial vacation planners we have to adapt the tricks, tips and hacks each year to suit what the new event brings and 2023 is no different for HHN32.
The super popular IPs (intellectual properties) of Stranger Things 4 and The Last of Us have brought record crowds to the event, making it feel more crowded than ever, we experienced wait times of over 2 hours for the haunted houses, so what lessons did we learn from this years event?
In this episode we go through our own personal experiences of the event, how we managed the crowd levels, why we upgraded to express pass to skip the long wait times and how we utilised Stay & Scream to our advantage. We also discuss some practical tips like pacing the event out, scheduling your vacation time so you can have some rest days in between the event nights to try and avoid burn out.
