    Birmingham sold off The Birmingham city shopping centre in 2016, it is now owned by Hammerson and CPPIB a Canadian pension fund.
    Birmingham belonged to the public taxpayers of this country, it is theft of taxpayers property. Birmingham council has just declared bankruptcy, where is all the money?

      To say something is broken implies, to an extent, that it can be repaired, Birmingham is beyond repair. It's a shame but that's how it is I'm afraid.

Twice I was victimised by the Police, and the 2nd time I was a victim of an Asian pervert security guard, who looked over the toilet cubicle I was in, and then promptly called British Transport Police to try to have me arrested, although he was the one breaking the law. That was actually the 2nd time that had happened to me by a security guard in Birmingham. It is not private property! it is corporate property as they have given the public the right to access it. That is a big difference they continually fail to realise. As such people can take photos and film. They can ask anyone to leave if they do not like that but a person can refuse if they are committing no crime. The corporation would need to take an individual to court in order to stop them filming as it is not criminal.

      @@seanmcilvenie9097 Wrong. Here is the law on it. Stop talking lies, because you're too bigoted to admit when you're wrong. From the SIA website -
      As I’m sure you are aware, it is a condition of your licensed status that you wear the licence where the front can be seen at all times when engaging in designated licensable activity unless you have reported it lost or stolen, or it is in our possession.
      The exceptions to this are if you can demonstrate that the nature of that conduct on that occasion requires that you should not be immediately identifiable as someone engaging in such conduct. On such occasions you must carry your licence on you and be able to produce it on request. This allows store detectives or close protection operatives to perform licensable activities without the need to be identifiable. This cannot apply to vehicle immobilisers.
      If a member of the public requests my full name am I obligated under law or code of conduct to provide the details?
      In answer to your question of whether you are obligated under law or code of conduct to provide the details of your full name, the only people to whom you are required to show your badge or provide details of your full name when asked are:
      the Police
      SIA officers
      those to whom the SIA has given authority under Section 19 of the Private Security Industry Act (typically, these will be licensing officers from local councils).

    If those are old streets from the past, how in the heck have they now become "private"? Is that even possible? I can't help wondering if the people trading around there aren't getting custom because of the police and security hassling people.

    • @dr_dr
      @dr_dr 9 місяців тому +1

      This seems to be an increasingly large problem. The councils turn over large portions of OUR towns and cities to private organisations or "BID"s in the name of progress and facilitate the trampling of ancient rights of way and streets to do so, then when you go to YOUR town centre, you are there as a guest of some private developer or QUANGO and can be trespassed by some jumped up minimum wage twerp in a hi-vis. Look at places like Derby where the main shopping centre (Westfield) was going bust; if they'd closed and locked their doors, most of what was the town centre would have been inaccessible to the public that previously owned the land it stands on.

      Penny starting to drop.... its how the millionaire became the billionaire.
      Remember all the publicly owned property, railway, houses, roads. Well what they do is sell them to raise money, spend the money or give it to Ukraine and then say we are skint and all the public areas are sold and now private.
      Then you vote someone else i who does the same and over a period of x amount of years the public assets are gone and the poor get very poor and the rich say work harder and employ the police to protect them.
      That is a very basic explanation but it can be researched and explained better.
      Basically you will be there slave, and our children will have it worse.
      The ones trying to stop it are the ones the public laugh at and call conspiracy theorists.
      Well welcome to the truth, because its getting worse.

    How is that entire outside area a private place? It's public, if you had a knife on you they'd arrest you so how does it magically transform into a private place when it comes to filming?

      @@peterwilliamallen1063 Actually, the area being filmed is a public place, because it's publicly accessible, and the council own the publicly accessible areas. However, those areas are still public areas, and as such, there is no expectation of privacy in a public place. The only private property in those areas are the individual shops owned by individual companies, who not only have the right to refuse entry but, can also remove any member of the public from there. All communal areas are public, and subject to the laws of public areas. Any area outside, which is exposed to the weather is a public space. These tyrants are on a power trip, and if the bosses of the nearby shops ever see these videos, you can bet they'll apply pressure on their local council to get these goons sacked.
      Given the fact that Birmingham City Council is bankrupt, they won't want to jeopardise their most lucrative revenue.

    11:35 Slight correction. Police can get people details by law. But only after arrest. And they have to arrest for a crime has occurred or is occurring, not because details are not given. They can backup an arrest with the necessity to determine someone's details but they cannot make the arrest to just get the details. The police need to concentrate on the crime first and not people's details.

    • @kevinmulligan9055
      @kevinmulligan9055 9 місяців тому

      Or they suspect you of commiting a crime, and that's where it gets murky, often the police will use a random act or section to obtain your details such as, we can smell cannabis off you. When they clearly can't yet its hard to deny and also harder to prove the officer wasint acting in good faith. Or your causing alarm, harrasment, distress which is a very good reason why they like no police around like security officers to claim this for them to act. In scotland its even worse very difficult to not give details to a determined cop.

( on this point I agree with the wardens ). I will not comment on the issue with the man and women with the dog., not enough video to give judgement. however yet again through out all the video we are seeing council workers claiming to be Enforcement officers, same city same crap but this happens every city,. but i did notice there was several SIA in the area, which did try to assist against the recoding of this footage, and i could only see one which had their ID pubilcaly in VIEW, as any SIA officer your ID must be visible and state who you ar e when ASKED
