This morning Rev. Jim reminds us that we are running a marathon, not sprinting through our lives… “Do you know the difference between a marathon and a sprint? The primary differences between the two revolve around distance, duration, energy expenditure, and physiological demands. People living “rough” on the streets is definitely a marathon of survival. However, for people of faith, the Christian journey is also a marathon, not a sprint. The race Paul talks about today in scripture he has finished. It has been a marathon of years facing everything from shipwrecks to jail, but also Paul received incredible blessings.” Are you ready….on your mark get set go…..
