I can tell that you’re not an extreme Godzilla fan like me, not in an egotistical way, but I’m the person which spends their time constantly watching Godzilla content and has like 20 figures of him. I would be fangirling like CRAZY if I was there!
The Moguera that you saw was from "The Mysterians" and the walrus is Maguma from "Gorath". As for the Mothra, she is the version from "Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S". The original from 1961 is shaggier and her colors aren't quite the same. If I remember correctly, she was also larger. The Mecha-King Ghidorah was in "Godzilla vs King Ghidorah". Since I am a big Ghidorah fan, that is one of my favorites. I would discuss the origin of Mecha KG but don't want to spoil it for you. You should definitely see that movie. ;) Hope that helps.
@@DaveinOsaka You're welcome. :) I was a little hesitant to respond at first because I wasn't sure if it would be taken the right way. They have decided to keep it open. I think it was just marketing to make people think it was going to close quickly so people would come to see it. It will be opened for good now.
I’m going next year, I’m a little confused, you said the museum is only open until August 31st. So will the museum be gone by next year when I go to do the zip line? Thanks for the video!!
I live in Yokohama here in Japan. I can't go to the museum because it's too far away. But it will be available until August 31st. So, I wouldn't expect it to be open next year UNLESS there is another announcement that another Godzilla museum is opening. In other words, I think you shouldn't get your hopes up for another Godzilla museum unless you hear news that a new one will open up.
This is how they seem to test if an idea will work or not. They will open a smaller museum or exhibit and if it’s successful then they plan to open a larger one in the future. I would say a Godzilla museum is a no-brainer however Awaji Island is a somewhat remote place to put it but the costs are obviously lower. You would get bigger crowds in downtown Tokyo but the costs would be astronomical in comparison and I think that is money that Toho probably does not have.
18:48 & 2020 I SURE is gonna buy such figurines if they sell those & still produces them & if & when i visit the Godzilla Museum. I have to save a lot of money for those. 💛

the orange godzilla in 21:12 is from the anime, godzilla earth. not sure why the fig is orange since he isnt in the movies.. they were really bad. not worth watching. not even a "so bad its good" bad, it was just plain boring.
@@DaveinOsaka It is an official ToHo monster with the name Zilla. It even appeared in the movie, Final Wars as well as the ‘98 movie. My guess is that it would be with the other monsters. I know it isn’t the most popular movie (although it’s certainly not the worst) but the monster design is still pretty cool.
anime: we are japan's greatest work
