I found your channel the other week and I really appreciate the way you review mods! You go in informed, give the creatures very fair and thorough testing, and do an excellent job of making them look fun to play.
I beat the bosses shortly before adding this mod, but now I really want to mutate them and take on Alpha Brood. I even have a good blueprint for the saddles! They take obsidian which I don't have much of but these guys are just too cool to not play around with. Grinding gooooooooo!
Hell yeah, have fun!! I can see these guys being so rewarding to mutate breed, and it really is so nice to have a change from the Rex/Theri meta, I love trying bosses with different creatures
I feel that! I'm really picky with dino mods because I do love the power scaling and balance of vanilla. But mods like the Meraxes here are so well curated that they're hard to resist
I'm similarly inclined to using mods and creatures that don't change the vanilla gameplay and rather enhance and add variety. In fact I'm saving some creatures to add them in successive maps instead of The Island @@DarkEdgeTVSurvival
Ah, thank you for the confirmation! Damn that is actually quite surprisingly, I suppose there isn't really much issue in a faster growth period but I for sure thought it would be minimum Rex-speed
how do you think the meraxes would do against manticore? playing scorched on single player and im considering using them instead of rexes/wyverns possibly
I was hyped for this mod because they made it out like this Dino was strong and scary, but it didn’t live up to the hype it was given at all in my opinion.

For the record meraxes grows way faster than a Rex, my raise times are boosted but I’d say they grow in half or even a third of the time of a rex
