I regret to take issue with the previous comment, but this is NOT what Vatican II had in mind for the average ordinary Catholic parish. Most parishes will not have the resources shown here, either as servers or musicians. My second point is that the congregation were reduced to being silent spectators which Vatican II specifically forbade. The whole thing reminded me of a comment by a well-known English priest, who, when asked what he remembered of his time as an assistant at Westminster Cathedral, London said, "Mostly it was dressing and undressing the cardinal to music." This Mass was nearly two hours long and I humbly suggest that if it were to become the norm in a parish we would see a decline in numbers. Most of these Masses are attended by people from outside the parish - in other words they become like "congregationalists" - they go where they think they will get the "right" religion which pleases them but they don't really belong. It is this aspect which Pope Francis is trying to reform in parish life.

@@jamesmaher1989 : Early Church tradition included many parishioners bringing up something of their livelihoods at the offertory: livestock, crops, food products, garments, furnishings, etc. This is how the early presters were supported and fed. The washing of the hands at the end of the offertory was nothing more than getting rid of dirt and grime and not a pious reflection on Pilate washing his hands after sentencing Jesus. Shall we return to this tradition? I fear you'd be upset by a goat bleating as it's led down the aisle to altar. I can attest that it wouldn't be the end of the world. I worked in a Guatemalan village and it wasn't out of the ordinary for a dog or chicken to wander into a church during Mass. As for your condemnation of "people centered rather than God centered", it's so sad that you don't realize that the Mass celebrates the gathering of the faithful. As Jesus says in Matthew 18:20, "Where two or three are gathered, ...". I'm sure you know the rest and can see where your folly lies in this. It's so sad that you're unable to see God's presence in the celebratory gathering of the family of God and instead focus on ritual and rubrics to the extreme.
Every living creature possess the qualities of it's parents. 1.Jesus was born to Mary, Mary was born to Hannah but God has no parents. 2.The physical make up of Jesus and Mary is flesh and bones, Lord is not. 3. People has seen Jesus and Mary, no-one has seen lord almighty. 4. Mother Mary is dead Jesus will die but Lord almighty is eternal. 5. Jesus and Mary both prayed to lord, The lord almighty is worthy of worship. All these qualities of Jesus makes him a human being , Jesus the Son of Mary Not Son of God. Read the holy Quran a guidence and light from the lord almighty for those who fear. Know your lord know peace
Sad , medieval, an ego walking as a bishop , forms more important than substance , the Holy Spirit ask for “noble simplicity” these people want just nobility.
@@kevinkurniawanofficial8806 : As I already said, you're a fool if you believe this. As for your idea of liturgical abuses, simplicity is not an abuse. Where in the hell did you get that insane notion? Seriously, what are you smoking? You need to re-read the pericope that you cite. It never mentions Judas getting "mad" but the disciples (plural ... as in, more than one and not just Judas) doing so. Your feeble attempt to rewrite the Gospel for your advantage is blown out of the water. Your "traditionalism and solemnity" versus "abuses" is likewise dead on arrival. It's trite, to say the least. And, speaking of Judas ... he's misunderstood, so don't condemn him so easily. Without his betrayal, there would have been no salvific death and resurrection. Without Judas, we would not be here today as Christians. In short, Judas was an integral part of salvation history. Dante placed him in the lowest level in hell. Since we're not God, and we don't know what's in a person's heart when facing the ultimate in human mortality, Judas could very well be in heaven.

But you could have a High Mass or a Missa Cantata every Sunday same as before Vatican II.
Novus Ordo = New Order =few and fewer people being at Mass=cut off from the traditions and liturgy of the early Church =priest centred, and people centred rather than God centred
@@rosemaryjones9464 : Golly! The tabernacle in my parish is to one side of the sanctuary. It's to the side of the celebrant. What to do?!? You need to get a grip on life as no one is trying to tear down the Church.

4. Mother Mary is dead Jesus will die
but Lord almighty is eternal.
5. Jesus and Mary both prayed to lord,
The lord almighty is worthy of worship.
All these qualities of Jesus makes him a human being , Jesus the Son of Mary
Not Son of God.
Read the holy Quran a guidence and light from the lord almighty for those who fear.
Know your lord know peace
Sad , medieval, an ego walking as a bishop , forms more important than substance , the Holy Spirit ask for “noble simplicity” these people want just nobility.
Simplicity doesn't mean strip the mass of its rituals, meaning, and beauty
