Schools are out for Thursday and Friday, people and stores are boarding their windows, including myself, and everyone’s rushing to get their supplies. With that everyone please be careful with this one and stay safe.

Our water systems would be able to only pump out so much water and same goes for the electric. Leaving millions in danger. Leave a like for goodluck and prayers!
I am holding my breath until this thing weakens as much as they predict. A major hurricane over Oahu would be unprecedented, and the wind & tidal surge would severely damage ports and infrastructure. There are some indications the shear will not affect the system in time. I hope people are taking this seriously.
If they have shelter in a safe area (further away from the beach), board up your home, pack some stuff, and leave. The Hurricane may not directly hit you guys, but the winds will still be strong and the water levels will rise. Better to be safe than sorry. Take care!
Erika M the nearest place is my high school (there’s like a underground safe place for us students and families for evacuations) but my family has couple of dogs and a pit bull and there will be a lot of people there so it’ll be hard to get in . So as of right now we are just being prepared with a lot of water,food and we are putting woods all over the windows and sandbags by the doors bc we know are place is gonna be flooded or maybe even wrecked but atleast we’ll be prepared or everything.
