3mm or 1/8" downcut spiral bit for cutting out.
Used software:
Vectric Aspire for toolpath generation,
Mach3 for cnc table moving.
I know that my comment is late , but really awesome job . Thanks for sharing !
nice work valmet. i like working with vcarve pro also. i like the tab and nesting features.
I use Liberon sanding sealer. This makes the wood surface harder and prevents cracking during routing.
It is Mototecnica 1.5kW spindle ( made in Italy ) together with Danfoss 2 kW inverter.
good work
good job
From LPT come step and direction signals. To have these signals you need software like Mach 3
Yes I am from Latvia.
Are step and direction signals data packages or just simple logic level signals? And if they are logic level does the signal pulses are generated for each step or just for a certain time constant and then changes? Because I probably would already be able to make CNC, but dont understant how to maintain 1:1 scale of the sketch... And yes - Mach 3 is the programe I'm going to use. BTW we are neighbours - I'm from Lithuania. ;)
Good.. !! what kind of wood is this?
It is Folsen double sided cloth tape
Thanks !
What brand double sided tape did you use? I've never seen orange before.
Awesome, thanks. ;)
It is ash wood.
What are you using for a spindle?
You can download ' An install and configuration guide for Mach3' from machsupport. c o m . There are some information about parallel port and signals in chapters 4.1 - 4.4
