Great tips for bulk cards. I, too, get bored doing the exact same thing over and over. Mixing things up helps me get it done.

Similar but different for sure. ❤. Same. Box holidays aren’t something we lavish on. But I try to make a different dinner and then yes cards. ❤
I am a batch card maker. Once I have a design I like, I usually make 6-10 similar ones. I like to get my money’s worth from stamps & dies, so making more makes it easy to break even. I will make 1-3 different designs when I am trying stuff out, then bulk produce the best design. Love these cards. I love the coloring ideas too.

These are gorgeous! I, too, get bored with the same thing but often do bulk building for my cards…just cause I need lots of cards.
These are delightful mini Valentine's Day cards Kelly! So perfect for rainbow colors. I absolutely do not like to make multiples of the same card so when I need to, I employ the same method as you - similar but not alike, and this is usually only at Christmas time because we send out over 60 cards each year. I do make valentines each year, for my husband, my grandchildren (even though they're all adults now😂) and a sometimes for friends if I have time. But it's never been a big holiday in my house. Thanks for the great video, I always appreciate you sharing your tips and tricks, and coloring!

Love watching you create and appreciate the dialogue explaining your process. The watermelon cupcake could be a red velvet with chocolate chips (to imitate the black seeds) and topped with cream cheese icing tinted green to look like the rind. I’d eat that one for sure!
You're so funny about the watermelon. Heck, I would have colored the rind an orange and told everyone it was a blood orange. I don't like to make the same cards over and over. I like everything unique. Thanks so much for a cute video.

The most of any card I have ever made would be twice but usually because I get an idea to change/improve that would work and want to try for a second one.
And here goes... but I have never understood why card makers would want to bulk make one idea since the creativity is the best part of doing it in the first place.
Perhaps for invitations...but I agree, the repetition is definitely boring.

I enjoyed watching you color those adorable cupcakes. I’ve grown up celebrating every holiday and enjoy decorating the house and making Valentines for everyone . My mom used to make me a new jumper every holiday to wear to school 😊 I just totally dated myself . Anyhoo loved the cards and those are cupcakes I would try to color . ❤️

You just had me laughing about you thinking it was a slice of watermelon! It’s still cute with the way you colored it. I did send cards to a few friends and I’ve heard from a couple who really appreciate the cards. They either are divorced or widowed.i keep a stack of them that I’ve made over several years.
These little cards are so incredibly cute! I thought that cupcake had a watermelon slice on it, too, so it wasn't just you! It was actually pretty darn adorable with the watermelon colors! I can probably make 2 identical cards, but after the 2nd one, I've got to change things up. I get very bored very quickly, plus, I get too many ideas and need to spread them out between projects, or I wind up with a crowded mess. As usual, Kelly, many thanks for the amazing inspiration. OMG! I love them all!!! I don't mind doing some assembly cardmaking. Usually if I'm making a card I'll make two or more, since I have everything out anyway.
I know it makes no sense, but I really like the watermelon cupcake ! Must be the red in it. I too get really bored doing the same card over & over...prefer to make a one & done 🙂
I also get bored if I make too many multiples but at Christmas I would do 2 or 3 same or similar. Love these - am new to colouring with alcohol markers so love watching you and hope to improve.

I have a multi cupcake set of stamps from Papertrey Ink, but they are more seasonal and smaller, so this set is going on my wishlist. Love the cards! Like you we called Valentine's day and Sweetest day "Hallmark Holidays" and don't celebrate them.

I love the cards! I am sooo like you in that I’m a one and done kind of card maker. My only deviation is Christmas cards. But even then I will make 3-4 different ones and bulk them, kind of like you did the cup cakes. It’s a challenge when I buy something to make it work for more than one idea. But I need to stretch my products. I like seeing you do that, it’s encouraging to me.

Lovw that sentiment stamp. We have sweetest day in MI too. I celebrate by making baseball card size (2 1/2 ×3 1/5. One sided not folded) for work, bookclub, and church ladies. I get 10 cards out of one 8.5 x 11 piece of paper. I do about 20 for work and then 40 or more for the rest. I passed them out at church last week and so many ladies said thanks this week. Everyone should get a valentine but I can't bring myself to do 200 plus. I get bored too.

Awesome. Personally I might make 2 identical cards, which is a habit currently being encouraged because in Chinese culture you have to make TWO IDENTICAL red packets. When giving red packets to a couple, they must be identical AND you split the money you’re giving them into half each. So, now my family includes Cantonese people, I’m embracing their culture as wholeheartedly as I can. Also 2 means I can learn, it’s not too rough. And if I screw up one, then I can salvage the other. (Although I have taken a leaf out of your book and rarely throw away a card, I usually find a way to salvage it. Years of watching your videos has influenced me.)
Regarding making more though? Kill me now. I’ll make similar things but I will NOT make, for example, half a dozen identical cards. It takes the fun out of crafting, sucks all the joy out of the room, leaving only boredom and stress.

I like to make cards assembly style in batches of 4-6 cards. I make cards for my church card ministry. One card at a time is not my thing, never has been.
