My laptop is a real veteran at this point and is clearly screaming for retirement, lol. Today, I implemented my second (swapping) set specifically for use with Hammer of the Gods. This setup is very expensive and requires not only two weapons but also solving strength, resistance, and other issues without relying on a shield. Inevitably, this leads to using the Ingenuity belt paired with two strong Breach rings. Regarding the swapping set of weapons: In an ideal scenario, you’d want a very strong weapon with +4 (or more) to all melee skills and high physical DPS, paired with a shield. Unfortunately, I couldn’t afford such a weapon right now, so I opted for double two-handers instead. !IMPORTANT AND UNVERIFIED! The first two-hander should have solid physical DPS, and leech if your gear doesn’t provide it. The second weapon is a bit more interesting. Based on the limited information I have, it seems Hammer of the Gods only takes the damage from the strongest weapon into account. This means the second weapon functions as a support piece. Ideally, it should have +6 or +7 to all melee gems and increased elemental damage with attacks, as this synergizes with Infernal Warcry. Summary: First weapon: A good physical DPS weapon. The Crumbling Mace base is preferred due to its consistent damage range. Second weapon: A support weapon with +6/+7 to melee gems and increased elemental damage with attacks. In the later parts of the video, you can see how I automated the swapping process to make it as smooth as possible.
@@pancakes8447 or you can do what I did: I made a second (empty) set and just swapped my weapon and shield over to it whenever I had to fight a tough boss. It takes like 2 seconds and adds a lot of QoL.
@@eugenering7592 Yeah that is probably what I will do. For doing this I still want to use all my skills and swapping to the second weapon set will just give me the skill tree set for second set right
Really enjoying your build and it looks really clean. I think we would appreciate a more in depth video on how the build works items skill tree what would be a cheap version versus BIS items ,. Many will be switching to this build but it is quite hard to touch all the requirements. I am stuck for example on getting enough strenght to equip a shiled on top of the weapon. the uniques that this build requires are quite expensive as well. Thanks for the video tho !
Hey man, thanks for your comment. I’d love to make a proper video guide, but since I’m not a native English speaker, it would require using AI to generate voiceovers, editing my low-quality videos, downloading item images, and putting together a full guide. Honestly, it’s just not worth it for me right now-I hope you understand. The best way to start this build is by converting all your damage to fire, rather than going phys + bleed. There are a lot of strong fire nodes (including chance to ignite and fire penetration) on the tree that are easily accessible from our pathing. Plus, there’s the affordable amulet that provides fire exposure, maximum life, and fire resistance. It drops from Xesht, but I forgot the name unfortunately. By focusing on fire, you don’t even need a high ignite chance, and ignite damage scales better with your overall damage compared to bleed. Going for bleed is only worth it if you can consistently hit 100% bleed chance with the support gem and have good jewels featuring chance to bleed and bleed duration as the primary stats. I’m really sorry if I ended up baiting some people into a build they can’t realistically afford right now. If you’re having trouble equipping a 2h weapon and a shield, try taking the small nodes near Polymathy that reduce attribute requirements. Those can make a noticeable difference.
Cool build! Have you tested just converting everything to fire and scaling everything that way so you don't have to worry about armor at all? Blood barbs make all that fire damage bleed anyway
@@是隻熊 hey! Heft is good with the skills which hit fast. Hammer of the Gods will work with Heft too ofcourse, it won't be as reliable as 75% MORE bleed magnitude. More means that this is a multiplier. So if you have, for instance, 300, you will get 525, which is very strong. It requires testing though, I'm not entirely sure how Deep Cuts works together with Infernal Warcry.
Well, I think now is the perfect time to test this stuff. So far, it feels like bleed scales much worse compared to ignite, even with the 150% phys as extra bonus. I was expecting it to hit around 2-3m dps at this point, but the innate scaling of ignite based on your hit (aka ailment magnitude) just makes it superior in the endgame. Not even Blood Mage can fix that...

What should I do if I can't get the second set? Should I just use HOTG on my weapon set 1 for now until I can afford ingenuity + rings?
@@pancakes8447 yea. It will be enough

Yes. Thor's hammer makes everything bleed.

The problem is that Avatar of Fire itself prevents us from dealing phys at all 😁in other words, won't work. Could've been very very strong though.
Linda montagem, deve ser divertido jogar com essa configuração.
Aprendendo (poe) inicio no jogo ainda um dia chego no seu nivel 😅
Thanks man 😁
Why Gemstones Choose Deep Cuts?
Would Heft be a better choice?

I thought about trying this a week ago and said fk it ill just pay for the carries and stick with breach mapping.
