    For everyone in Nigeria looking to take those english tests. You can find practise tests online. To be honest those tests are not difficult. You just have to practise.

    I admire people who emigrate; especially to a place with no friends or family in their destination country. I came to Canada at age 11 with my parents (from UK) so it was a little easier for me. In my experience having the right attitude makes all the difference. And keep in mind that Canada is a massive country. What part of the country one chooses depends on what ones priorities are. You seem to be thriving so maybe Toronto is the right fit for you. All the best and good luck in the future.

    Just like you the fear of the future made me leave Nigeria. I was doing well in Nigeria but I decided to come for study because I couldn’t wait for the PR process and the fear of not being qualified for PR because I only have Bsc and ICAN which is not sufficient. I’ve been here for 3months plus now and it’s been a roller coaster ride that I’m loving. Like you said now that we’re young is the best time to start afresh when you have no responsibilities. I look forward to meeting you whenever I come to Ontario.

      @Xczar lmao that is easy for you to say. Go back and fix it, go back and invent. The Nigerian ruling class do not even believe in Nigeria, that is why they loot, kill and rig elections, own foreign passports, buy properties abroad and send their kids to school abroad. I started an innovative business in Nigeria in the billboard advertising space and i was killed by bottlenecks. Bottlenecks created by the elite to prevent competition. I had my own security man, dug my own borehole, even contributed money to build the street to my house, i was my government. The level of poverty is soo high that we cant even have a united front for any kind of protest or revolution. There is no united front all the six regions have different visions of what Nigeria should be like. That country was put together by the British to fail. Restructuring of that whole system is the only way to go.

    • @christianogamba3035
      @christianogamba3035 4 роки тому +3

      @Xczar You must be a very insane man for being so judgemental and inconsiderate. You cannot really talk ill of citizens of a country without first of all living among them, but your own case is different. I know your type. You're simply a self- righteous fellow, who thinks he has all that it takes to castigate and downgrade others. The country your boast of as your own do you know how it was built, I ask you? Mind you, Nigeria is the way it is today because of how people of different worldviews were put together to live as a single nation. The west must suffer now or later for what they did in Africa.
      Think, read wide, and try to have a first hand experience before judging and condemning a people you do not know anything about their history. Fool.

Considering your country economy, the presidential election and your future at the age of 23 and deciding to relocate to another country is commendable. Best UA-cam video I've watched this year so far. Thank you. I'm in Nigeria 🇳🇬 and I'd love to start my application for permanent residency and get a Canadian citizenship, I'd really love to connect with you as I don't have family or friends in Canada. And I'm new to all of these. I'll be really grateful if we could connect. Thank you. God bless.

    I'm also a Nigerian abroad and I can see arguments for staying in Nigeria or leaving. I recommend that you go to school in Canada, get some degree, line up a good job in Nigeria and move back. People say that there are opportunities abroad. That depends. One thing people underestimate is racism/discrimination. Even if you're willing to start from scratch and work hard, sometimes people are unwilling to give you an opportunity. Thankfully, I work as a teacher now, but I have to say that I remember going on interviews and I saw the interviewers/panels faces when I walked in and I knew that they would not hire me because of my color. I had one interview with two principals and after asking one or two questions like "You actually went to ... university," one interviewer just looked at me, got up, and left. Even the other interviewer was surprised. Anyway, another issue is community/social aspect. Often Nigerians/Africans feel isolated. You have to try find Nigerian events. Another issue is that it is hard for Africans/Nigerians to find spouses, especially women. Even though I'm good looking, friendly, and dress well, I'm now 33 and I'm still not married. I wish you the best whether you stay in Canada or move back to Nigeria. God bless!

      Thank you for your response. I’m curious tho do you base in US or Europe? Cos colorism isn’t very popular in Canada to be honest.
