I don´t get why McFarlane keeps doing this stupid decisions. Making the Platinum the most wanted/known version of the character. Among others he did it with the Knightfall Azrael. Then he did it with Hawkman. And now he does it with Terrific. I had to accept Hawkman because, even though I really like the character, it didn´t bother me THAT much to get Zero Hour costume. But that´s not the case with Mr. Terrific. I want this Pre-New 52/Post New 52 version. So I hope I don´t find it difficult to find. Besides, as I said it in the other video this would have been a Platinum that would have cost him less to produce since New 52 didn´t have a jacket. And I doubt many people would have wanted the figure displayed with 2 clashing styles. Or, better yet...Since he comes with several face plates, why not have included the 2 different masks? He did it with Huntress. She has a face plate that resembles her original Earth 2 costume for the Helena Wayne character. Even though that mask didn´t go with the costume. But at least wasn´t as noticeable. Sure, Mr. Terrific with the red mask doesn´t look bad with the jacket but we all know how he´s supposed to look.
7:09 lol Was randomly browsing BBTS this morning and saw him available so I picked one up. I don't know much about Mr. Terrific and only saw a version of the character from the CW show Arrow. I wasn't impressed with that version but maybe the movie debut leaves a better impression.
New 52 isn´t a BAD costume by any means. If the character changes to that costume every now and then it´d be fine. But is just that the Pre-New 52/Post New 52 is amazing. As for the figure not being 100% accurate...what else is new? McFarlane ALWAYS does this. PS HUGE CORRECTION FROM MY PART!!! Mr. Terrific does wear the red mask and jacket at one point. That´s on DARK NIGHTS METAL. After that he goes back to the traditional costume.
What's everyone's take on the recent use of these tiny forearms and wrists on non skinny bucks such as JLTF Flash, Kid Flash, Vintage Nightwing, and our titular character here Mr Terrific?
@@dHuntersReviews I feel they're just a tad too small but also that they're kind of angled in a way that doesn't look natural, almost as if they're reversed. I can fix it by heating/bending + adding a bit of apoxie but it's worrying if this is the size they have settled to continue making other generic bucks (or maybe I'll just have to get over it).
@@DrethNETyeah they need to reuse the arms on the collector edition Connor Kent more often. They’re very similar to the arms on the blue beetle bode but more muscular

Glad I’m not the only person who lucked out on Big Bad and came to find a review of it in hand lol
@@Him_211 Nice!
If I can get ahold of this one I'm going to see if I can add the "fair play" to the sleeves
I actually prefer the regular version over the platinum.
You crazy
But ok
I'm most familiar with Mr. Terrific from The Terrifics comic. I read that whole series and I'd love them to make the entire team.

The straight to ROSS ver. Has fairplay on the sleeves
I'm cool with the molded Ts on the spheres but I wish Mcfarlane had cheaped out on that. Woulda made cool accessories for my Magneto.
I’d want to buy one of the jackets from you. lol
My wife will teach me how I could sow to make jackets and other clothes for figures. Lol

It’s the same body
Not a huge fan of the wrists but not a huge deal
