In this video, I will share with you how Urban Company Partner serviced my AC.
Regular maintenance is key to keeping air conditioners efficient and durable. Join us as we take you through a step-by-step tutorial on cleaning AC maintenance tasks.
1. Cleaning and Inspection:
▪ Thoroughly clean the indoor and outdoor units of the AC.
▪ Inspect the units for any visible damage or wear and tear.
2. Error Code Check:
▪ Check the indoor unit for any error codes displayed by the AC. Document any detected issues and communicate them to the service provider.
3. Gas Pressure and Leakage Check:
▪ Verify the gas pressure to ensure it's within the correct range.
▪ Check for any gas leakage in the AC system.
4. Inverter AC Care:
▪ When cleaning the outdoor unit of an inverter AC, be cautious not to allow water to enter the PCB, as it can cause significant damage.
▪ Highlight the importance of protecting the inverter AC's PCB due to its higher cost compared to non-inverter ACs.
5. Parts Inspection:
▪ After servicing, ensure that all components of the indoor and outdoor units are properly set and functioning.
Additional Points:
1. Air Filter Cleaning: Regularly clean or replace air filters to maintain optimal air quality and system efficiency.
2. Coil Cleaning: Clean the evaporator and condenser coils to improve cooling efficiency.
3. Duct Inspection: Check for any blockages or leaks in the air ducts that can affect air circulation.
4. Electrical Connections: Inspect and tighten electrical connections to prevent loose wiring issues.
5. Thermostat Calibration: Ensure that the thermostat is accurately calibrated to maintain the desired temperature.
6. Condensate Drain Cleaning: Clean the condensate drain to prevent clogs and potential water damage.
7. Fan and Blower Inspection: Check the fan and blower motors for proper functioning and lubricate them if necessary.
8. Refrigerant Level Check: Regularly monitor and maintain the correct refrigerant levels in the AC system.
9. Safety Measures: Emphasize safety precautions for both technicians and users during servicing.
10. Recommendations: If you come across any additional maintenance requirements specific to certain AC models or brands, include them in your recommendations.

This marks my third experience with Urban Company. The first and third services were satisfactory, but I encountered some issues with the second service, as not all service providers performed their tasks properly. However, I can confidently say that I received better service from Urban Company compared to Carrier.
@@ISamiran17 sir, please provide detailed pointers on what things to look out for during ac service specifically for carrier models.
@@Risheei These tasks need to be done not only for carrier ACs but for all company ACs.
While doing the AC service, proper cleaning is required along with keeping an eye out for any internal problems. For example, almost all current ACs show an error code in the indoor unit, if any problem is detected in the indoor and outdoor units. It must be noted down and communicated to the service provider.
Check whether the gas pressure is correct or whether there is gas leakage.
However, the service provider does check them on its own.
In the case of inverter AC, it is better to wash water from outside without opening the outdoor unit. Because if water enters the PCB in any way, the PCB will be damaged and this is the biggest problem in inverter AC. Because the PCB of the inverter AC is on the upper side. That's why there are more chances of getting water. And PCB cost of inverter AC is about three to four times more than noninverter AC. That's why it should be taken care of while opening and washing the outdoor unit.
After the AC service is done, it is also necessary to check whether all the parts of the indoor and outdoor units are properly set.
