During the period of vanvas Shri Ramchandra gone to the Jungle of Panchvati their recite surpanakha the sister of Raksha Shravan she offers marriage to Shri Ram and Lakshman. when they refuses the offer of surpanakha she got angry and again comes into her real character as Rakshasi and then by the order of Shri Ram Lakshman ji cut her nose and ears with his arrow.
