Thanks to La Maltese from the Euro Coin Discord server I had this great opportunity to hunt 20 Malta 2 Euro rolls with him and keep what is new for me. It was an absolute pleasure and honor to hunt with him and as you will see in the video we had a lot of luck!
I hope I can do such a hunt soon again :)
I search for rare coins, NIFCs, nice commemoratives and other coins that are still missing in my collection. I am collecting every year from every country and all the denominations.
For commemoratives and coins with a mintage below 2 mio. the coin info and mintage number is shown on the screen (unless the same type of coin is found more than once in a video).
Mintmarks for Germany explained:
A - Berlin
D - Munich
F - Stuttgart
G - Karlsruhe
J - Hamburg
For mintage numbers and coin names I use Numista, EURik, the EuroCoin Discord Server and the emuenzen.de Forum.

And I must say we were really blinded to not have noticed the proof… even placed near all the other cc’s, it’s so clear it’s proof compared to them. Haha yes, I mean we kind of talked about it shortly that it could be proof, but then discarded it immediately. Also don't understand how this wasn't more obvious to us during the hunt...

What a fantastic hunt :o this must be what coin roll hunting in heaven is like! Being there for the premiere was very exciting! The Maltese Government should pay you and La Maltese for making a fantastic tourism ad ;)

Very nice hunt, this only was possible to do in Malta , was a dream get all this coins , in Portugal rarely we see the standart,also the most recent cc coins from Italy are hard to appear in circulation.

Yes I totally agree, I found almost no Malta CC here in Vienna yet. Italy on the other hand is quite easy and still I found one of the last few missing ones in this hunt as well :D

2:19 - first time seeing this by video. We all know that another euro commemorative coin with the usage of simple drawing is the 10th anniversary of the euro (2009), not the totally physical one which was minted in 2012 celebrating the 10th anniversary as well.
True the 2009 EMU also has simple drawing, but I honestly prefer these Malta CC's kids drawings much more than the EMU :)
I am maltese and till now i didn't manage to get any maltese rolls, so from where did you get them and how did you get those rolls?

Thank you and as you might have noticed I went through those rolls with La Maltese (a friend from Malta). Who is also on the Euro Coin Discord server and he organized those rolls. I checked our info that we have on Discord and it says for Malta that you can get rolls either at Bank of Valletta and HSBC Bank Malta, but you have to be a customer and pay a 30c fee per roll.

Do you mean what the difference between circulated and uncirculated rolls are?
@austrianeurocoinhunter yes, why the unc is more expensive and not valid on circulation coins?
Not all UNC rolls are more expensive in some countries you can get them for face value at the national bank (like here in Austria), but if they are rolls of low mintage coins some banks/mints want to make profit.
However, all those coins can theoretically appear in circulated rolls. Which I am hunting. Circulated rolls you can also get in pretty much every Euro country, sometimes without fees, but usually with some fee ranging from 10c-4€ (or more) per roll...
