But in everything I keep seeing concerning these two, I have yet, to get up to date, to the day almost, information concerning the both of them, and most importantly, whether they have been able to maintain their friendship privately or not. It is kept on the down low because it has just become legal to be gay in China but that doesn't mean that it is accepted. China being a Communist country they have to be careful so no matter what they (being the actors and their management) don't share anything. It is not safe for them. One thing that is known is that they are banned by the Chinese government to appear on stage together or to ever be in a drama together again.

I fell terribly in love with them almost, instantly and certainly, after I found out about all this other stuff. Actually, I was confused first, because there is another Boy Love Couple that this was don to as well, from another series that came out around the same time. Forgetting the name of that series at the moment but it had a similar feel to the "Addicted" series. Similar elements to it. I knew about Xuwei before from seeing him in various singing, pop shows I was watching, and found him quite, cute, sexy and adorable, but discovered Jingyu for the first time from watching the series. I've found out since that he really, has an utterly, awesome singing voice as well, on par with Xuwei's actually. The thing that frustrates me endlessly, as an International Fan of these guys, is my inability to get any reliable information about them, over UA-cam here. Honestly, the comments are completely, all over the place where these two are concerned, reflecting more speculation than cold, hard, facts. I'm still, unsure if they are a couple for real, or ever were. Some say yes, some say no. Some have said that they are not even, that close as friends, even. I find that one hard to believe. So what I have been able to find out so far is that this ban only extends to their public but not personal lives, thankfully. So I remain hopeful that they have been able to maintain a close, personal, friendship privately if nothing else. Gives me something to work with anyway. And that ban will extend for another four years roughly, as four years have gone by already. I was unsure if they are banned from working together again, forever. If that's true, that's ridiculously, harsh as well. Maybe they may not want to work together again, but that decision should be left up to them and not dictated by someone else. It's good that you can "legally" be Gay in China now, but clearly, this nation has a long, long, ways to go yet. Also My Darling, I myself, am a strong supporter of True and Proper Communism, and this Ideology practiced correctly, has absolutely, nothing to do with suppressing and dictating to people like this, at all. What Russia and China have done has been to horribly, corrupt the True, Noble, Ideal of Communism, and it is that, that the world chooses to look at and not the other, sadly. @@ivanj.conway9919 I think they know that at least in Thailand, South Korea they have big fan base because they've been to these countries for fan meets. In other countries, more and more new fans are getting to know them because of lockdown and expansion of Chinese online TV platform like WeTV where Addicted series are being broadcast during these past few months, but I don't think they'll be aware of these new accumulated international fans unless someone invites them for fan meeting or concert.
