anxious to make this for showers bdays n anniversarys or even just for the heck of decorating lol
BEAUTIFUL!!
Thanks! :~)
Amazing!! Super easy to understand and implement! When someone orders a arch from you what information do you need as far as sizing? Like how do you make sure its the size they are looking for.
Generally I'll ask them where they want to put the arch and what it's going to go over. Sometimes I'll have them send me a photo so I can gauge the size :~)
that was very nice
this is amazingly ready thank you so much!! I'm trying to make my daughter a dyi monster high party but I have va very small budget, how many balloons would take for a table arch?
+anahi moreno - It depends on the size of the balloons and the size of the arch :-) I always figure at least a couple hundred
soo nice...
Thanks! :~)
OMG I love this! Can't wait to try this! Are the columns done with the same poles as well but shorter ones of course??
killahkeedy yep, you got it- the mechanics are the same, just the sizes change :-)
thank you soooo much
u have thought me a lot know I have a small business going on I found my true passion
I love watching your videos. What balloons do you like best? Sempertex, etc.?
I generally use Qualatex, but mostly because that's what I'm used to and can get locally. Sempertex is also good :~)
very beautiful. how many balloons did you have to use in order to make the arch and what is the best quality balloon as in what store should I purchase balloons poles and wires???
The number of balloons depends on the size of the balloon, and the size of the arch. The hardware is available from your local hardware store, but as for the balloons I would look for either Qualatex or Betallic. Check out their websites, they both have lists of their distributors so you can find the closest one :~)
thank you....
SUPER! I have learned how to make balloon arches and Poles from you, thank you. I make them for schools. I still have trouble with the top arch (bend) of the balloon arch. Do you? Is there a secret to it?
Try using PEX or a hula hoop. (Only for the top of small arches though~ it's not stable enough for very large arches). I have a video coming out soon showing how to make a frame for a large arch... stay tuned ;~)
Thank you for this video saved my self loads of money by making my own arch for wedding what size balloons do you suggest I use ?
Jodie Baker
Amazing!
Thanks! :~)
Very helpful. And ur very sweet I want to try this u make it look easy I feel like the twisting would be the hardest. Could you maybe show a close up of how you tie the balloons together?
I feel like if I miss that step it won't come out as great
It's kinda like tying your shoes. I just made a video on it, but it won't be out for a while yet. Here's an older one that shows it though... ua-cam.com/video/R_fFwVTg--g/v-deo.html :~)
Esthersita Luerra I have a tutorial of how to make a balloon arch without structure. check it on my channel 😊
Tudo Para Sua Festa
Yep, I actually just posted that video a couple of weeks ago. Go over to my channel and click on the "video" tab to see the most recent videos and you should find it :~)
thank you
awesome :)
thank u soo much
Hi Sandy. Great video. One question. How do I reduce the gaps between each set of quads that I'm layering? In your video, the is minimal to no gap between the layers/quads. What am I doing wrong? Thanks
+guamybear81 - The more consistent your sizing and packing, the less you'll be able to see the pole between the quads. Keep in mind that from certain angles you may be able to see it a little, so that's why we generally paint ours black.
nice mam
Never mind I just got my answer with the comments
Thanks
Oh and I loved your video :)
+Mayra hernandez Thanks!!
+Sandi Masori DIY Balloon Art what inch balloon are you using?
Hi , Great Job but my only question was how do I know how any balloons I would need for a larger arch for our schools prom?
Great video! what wire would you suggest best to connect the two columns?
Thanks! I would use aluminum rod, or if it's a small arch, you could even use PEX or even a hula hoop :~)
Thanks for the video, can you suggest a specific type of wire to use please?
+Diana Edwards - Aluminum rod is best as it's a bit thicker and sturdier than wire.
This is brilliant, thank you! How many balloons did you use for the whole thing? thank you :)
About 130 balloons
Amber Cox
The baby
how many of each color
We used about 120 balloons total. Or 30 of each color. You will use more if you inflate the balloons smaller though. Maybe 40 or 50 of each color depending on how small you go.
Beautifully u have done
I like that thanks my lady
Great vid
Thank you! :~)
Awsome
hello, around how many pink, white, and black balloons did you use? separately, I'm thinking about doing this for my son, but of course different colors
+Abby Ramos The number of balloons depends on the size of the balloon and the size of the arch :-)
GREAT
Thanks for the video, how do you make sure the columns won't fall?
+Ashlei Baines The wider the footprint, the more stable the decor is. :-)
How much time would you suggest for an arch of this size including filling the balloons? If it's mentioned in your ebook forgive me I haven't downloaded it yet. Thanks for taking the time to make these videos. They've been a great help!
0Storyteller0 It depends on how fast you can blow and tie and then pack it. The answer is different for everyone and with more practice you will get a lot faster. In the beginning it might be a couple of hours, and then only 30 min once you have the muscle memory for it :-)
I been looking for easy arches and all the videos r so hard and boring but yours is amazing and smart!!!! Keep it up!!! U have a new sub!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
+mayra perez Thank you!! :-)
I love this video! Sandy makes it look so easy!
thank you so much you helped me make an arch now i can do it for my childs birthday party next month wher did u get the plates
look for my video on how to make a balloon column frame- I show how to make the bases from materials you can find from Home Depot :~)
Sandi Masori Balloons
I love your video but is there someway you can make it without the wire thing like only out of balloons???
Maryam Nayef you have to have something holding it together. If you use helium instead of air in the balloons you could use arch line or fishing line to hold it all together. But if you are using air, you need some framework to make it stable.
How tall are those poles? I wanted to make one that uses 6 foot poles and I need to know how many balloons I need. You said 130 but that's also a small arch. Any help would be appreciated.
I love your work!!!!! OMG! I worship all of your advice! So now, I'm trying the frame for the arch. However my wire isn't holding upright. I want to make it wide enough for 2 & tall enough for a 6'5 footer. Will the pressure from balloons make the wire stand upright? ~confused~
+Ashley Davie sometimes the wire can be difficult. Maybe try aluminum rod, PEX or even a hula hoop for the top. The stands can be from emt- or you could even use schedule 40 pvc. :-)
+Sandi Masori Balloons...I DID IT!!!!!! Yes! Wish I could post a picture. It was donated to our high schools volleyball team. Yes, you're my girl crush. Thanks so much!
+Ashley Davie what wire did you use and did you have to straighten it?
+Christina Campbell , yes you have to straighten it a little because it's pack curled up. Having someone help you would work out better.
thank u :)
Hi love! That size were the balloons in this video and how wide and tall is for the arch?
Adrienne Brooks in this one the balloons are about 9" or so and the arch is about 5' wide and 7.5' tall or so
I'd like to make one similar but don't know how many balloons I'll need I'll be using pink purple & where you have black I'll be using white instead how many of each balloon will I need??
I saw your candy cane balloon video, how long of a rod is needed to attach to the lamp? Ty
They come in 10' lengths, and it's easier to cut some off than to add more on ;~)
Hi! I'm getting ready to make an arch for my daughter's bday. it will be outside and more of an entrance to the party. I really wanted to make my own arch - is this possible? what do I use? or is being outside safer with a kit...
Look for my video on how to make a baseplate and pole, and then just connect two of those with some wire or alum rod. For outside you want it as stable as possible, so you may even want to put some weights on the baseplates. :-)
