Genuinely didn’t recognize your voice until the “negotiations have broken down, please leave” line. Even despite knowing you voiced him.
I was surprised because he had a higher pitch than I expected. Then I remembered "right, Claude von Riegan"

I'm Chinese and I speak Japanese so I usually play the game in Chinese and Japanese, but today I stumbled across the English trailer and wow Wriothesley sent chills down my spine. I guess I will play Genshin in English just for Wriothesley

No joke, I can't wait to try Wriothesly for many reasons, but the main reason being he's a boxing styled character, and I absolutely love that sort of movement in a fight.

I just love the "this could get a little chilly" line. Cause so far my main has always been Kaeya, our only cryo husbando so far. He says "Don't get frostbite". Hehe. Now that I will become Wrio main, this gives me good nostalgic vibes 😂😂
Wriothesley is the genshin character ive been most excited for. Everything about him, from his jacket, his tie, his chains, his hair, and especially the fact he has mechanical boxing gloves and punches all the enemies. When I found out you were voicing him I was even more excited. Thank you for bringing this awesome (and very hot) character to life Joe 🤜🤛
When I saw the English VA, I was like “wait a minute… I think I know who that is…”
I will be saving for your character, mostly because I love your work and you are the FIRST CRYO CATALYST USER which is a high honor. And since I loved Heizou’s gameplay style of punching, I think I will have fun having him in my party.

He is a must pull for sure now! The fact that you used to be in the air force really makes you suit the vibe of Wriothesley! Ik being a captain of the air force and a prison guard are different but both have a very stoic, strong, and authoritative vibe to me. So you portray the character so well!💕

i love how wriothesley sounds casual but also deadpan/dead serious sometimes but also formal when he needs to be, he really is very very cool! can't wait to hear more in the archon quest, story quest, and character voicelines when we finally get him YAY

Joe you are one of the few reasons why I am seriously thinking about using the EN pack again! I respect the works of all EN VAs in the game but I simply had too many favorites in JP but I loved you as Claude so much so it's a super tough choice!!!

So far we got both Byleths, Dimitri, Claude and Yuri falling into the Genshin rabbit hole. All we need is Edelgard and both Shezs and we'll have all 3H main characters in Genshin.
When I found out that you were voicing Wriothsely I knew I had to pull for him, I was interested with his design in the final feast trailer but this sealed the deal. I’m so excited to see him in the story and play him!

I am saving enough primos to pull for your character. When they showed the first fontane trailer I saw the edge lord looking guy and I said I had to pull for him and later when I found out you were voicing him it made me want to pull for him more

i’ve been obsessing over wriothesley ever since he was first shown in the teaser in the 3.8 showcase, and FINALLY getting to hear his voice has me going feral. you gave him so much personality, you did a FANTASTIC job 😭🥹💖
Wriothesley sounds so done with everything and everyone, but still tries to be polite.
He also looks like a man of action, but seems to prefer peace and quiet.
Fits within the Cryo characters, since irony is the Cryo's equivalent of Anemo's 'emo short dude with a dead friend'.
unironically though you're like one of the coolest genshin VA's i've come across so far and i love the energy you bring to twitter (i only use twitter and a few other apps for social media browsing xD) AND to the character as well! amazing job at voicing wrio!! can't wait to see him in action in the next archon quest :D

Wriothesley is amazing character I can tell.
While not many know you as the OG voice for Gavin in Mr. Love, I was just so excited to see you play a character in one of my favorites games. I still don't know much about Wriothesley but he definitely gives Bird Cop energy from the few lines I got to hear from the Livestream and this new trailer.
