    22 likes, and no dislikes. Just how it should be. I'm 27 and I've been listening to Mike Harding since I was 9.

    ''3 months on only one shirt Mike? We Yorkies can do that standing on our heads! Do they still sew the kids into their clothes for the winter over in Lancashire as we do in Yorkshire? ;o)

    I have never once heard the subject of a north/south divide being raised by a fellow Southerner.

    • @markhiggins8315
      @markhiggins8315 3 роки тому +3

      You won't because those who are so grossly advantaged by it are more than happy thank you very much.
      If you were a northener then you would know all about the divide.

      @@jennygw1883 If you think it's ridiculous that's absolutely your prerogative. However the fact that you do says far more about you and tends to be consistant with your initial statement.
      I'm perfectly fine if you think I'm being ridicilous after all that assertion would also be consistant with your idea on the issue.
      All the same some of my best friends are southerners(so I can't surely be latitudist). I've nothing against southern folk and I quite like some of your food plus I've got to say you people sure have rhythm.

      @@markhiggins8315 It seems to me that the tax payers money gets poured into the bottomless pits of northern inner city welfare.

    • @markhiggins8315
      @markhiggins8315 3 роки тому

      @@jennygw1883 Really. It seems to me that the south benefited for decades from a huge, increadibly hardworking and badly paid workforce that through their sweat were hugely responsible for the country's wealth from industries including coal, steel and textiles.
      When we lost those industries through a combination of greed, a changing world and gross incompitance on the part of successive governments leaving whole areas of the north with crippling unemployment and next to no investment inevitably widespread decline was the outcome creating the problems that you think are such a burden on the badly done by southerners.
      I hope that you really aren't quite as uneducated as your post indicates and that you are just perversely attempting to wind me up.
      Anyway my posts were an ironic attempt to illustrate the nonsence of predudice against people from anywhere including the south where I have lived and worked and appreciated the genuine qualities of people from all over the UK. I have also lived and worked in several countries that I found to be no different in terms of encountering people that are good, bad and everything in between.
      It's also true that people in other countries have regional bigotry just as they do here. In Italy for instance there is a huge north, south divide only it's the other way round in the sense that people from the north often look down on those from the south.
