videos with Rob are probably the most enjoyable, laughable, entertaining ones i have ever watched on youtube, i love it. I miss UK.
OMG... British people are so nice and polite. I guess if someone from the U.S. receive a call like that, he/she would hang up immediately.
Nice work Torres! Keep it up!
So happy to see Rob again Merry Christmas 🎄
That’s really funny when Rob and Torres together, expecting more videos afterwards👍🏻
I really like the series of idioms exchanging challenge, you got me every time.
I agree with you
Totally agree with you. I think it means "fastidious" rather than "careful". :)
Yes you are right
lol, I like how Rob pushes himself away from you and shrugs your hand off his shoulder while saying it is very nice to have you here in london.
Omg. I love his videos. I love that he shows his life all over the place. The commitment to drink is also used in the states. Watching this is like seeing the difference between me and Michael (my Hong Konger husband) 😂 Torres and GG have inspired me and my Hong Konger to start our own UA-cam channel.
I am amazed to see your inspiration! Maybe my girlfriend and I can start doing this too!
@@KennethKamguitar if you decide, I'll know. I'll subscribe to your channel. Can't wait to see your content
GuipoInHK that’s awesome there’s a hashtag called AMWF for couples like you guys, it may help you to attract views
@@ZhangBangsFury that's a good idea idea. Thanks for the tip ❤️
Hi Torres! I’m really glad I chanced upon your channel, you earned yourself 1 more subscriber :) Love your videos with Rob, more of him please in future videos :p Keep up the amazing content! Love from Singapore
Torres, love to watch your video, keep up💪
we love Rob's explanations.
O really
Yeah
Smart
I literally laughed to tears like GG at the end of the video 😂😂😂
Fried Squid, when you fried the squid, the squid will be rolling, metaphors rolling the beds(packing the belongs), which means getting fired.
love this series with cutie pie
Love this it can improve my English !🤙🏾
Really like this kind of video!!!!!!
Can you do more videos like this? calling to strangers using slangs?😂 So interesting and funny!
LOL, love this video.
it's amazing, British's people are so nice to stranger.
😂😂😂 you're crazy Torres 😂😂😂😂😂👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 you did it !!!
Play The Devil"s advocate 唱反調
Bite More than You can Chew
Birds of A Feather Flock Together
Burn the Candle at Bath Ends
bite more than you can chew
"Play the devil's advocate"
I suppose its 闊 instead of 寛 ?
Bite more than you can chew
This video is so interesting and useful
You are courageous!
Thats a brilliant play!Torres is doing so great at the last 3 minutes 😂
Once you go British,
you can't go finished,
and your friends' friends always follow you with a strange conversation in English 😂😂😂
“Picking Bones From An Egg”, For example. Let's say Mike has done somethings so perfectly, but Alex still intentionally picking the error that can compelely be ignored from what Mike did, then we can say Alex are Picking Bones From An Egg. it's not mean someone is A detail oriented person, it more like saying someone are so excessive on something.
Bite off more than you can chew.
i was like, ok. i give you 10 out of the 10 for the phone call. it's so freaking hilarious
I think "picking bones from an egg" in China means somebody intentionally making someone be hard. As you know, everybody knows we impossibly find bones in an egg, but somebody still wants you to do it. It like somebody wants you to finish a mission impossible. it is a kind of bully.
So let me get it straight, the English idioms are relatively common and I think Torres maybe had known it
but
the idioms Torres said are actually Chinglish and maybe even coined offhand.
Mag Y
@@carman7553 Lingoda's learning materials basically cover all area like grammar listening speaking reading. of coz reading and speaking seems to be most effective and have an obvious result on a daily basis. However, I'd remind the fact that the rules seem pretty strict and unfriendly to us the participants. For example, if you accidentally book more than one class on a day/ lost connection during class / use the credit before the start of marathon * can't blame some of us don't know as it written on the term and condition* / not to mention leave early, be late etc, DQ from the refund list is a sure thing. Most of my Lingoda classmates failed eventually due to different silly reasons...! Therefore, if those people are simply joining for the refunds, I wouldn't recommend when they do not have an open routine or not being persevered enough to commit all the 90 classes every day, otherwise it'll be to stressful for those who only down for the free courses. Anyways, everything comes with a price, even free. Treat it as an great opportunity to learn more language, I'm sure it is a new window to see the world.
bite off more than you can chew = simply

哈哈哈,just became a fan of British people.
I laughed myself to tears!
Rob is a charming guy
Omg
托哥又話會出片講點識咁多外國人 man of your word 好喎~特別係Brits 呢啲passive aggressive type of guy .
That should be “shouldering the wok” 😂 Then Rob can guess it in a sensible way.
Is lingoda good for someone already with somewhat advanced English but looking to get as fluent as a native?
Torres you are a really brave man!! im feeling the embarrassment XDD
anyway, those are good phrases!
it was fun
lingoda: that why we need torres
Can we get a certificate after joining this plan
i'm surprised that you being such a fluent English speaker you don't know those phrases
Bite off more than you can chew 可以用 too greedy來解釋嗎
toooooo funny!!
6:27 Can someone please explain the irony? Please please pretty please?
True cutie pie😂
That's so funny 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
有一个错误(mistake):picking the bones from the egg -- Find quarrel in a straw
In English your boss would say you're "fired", But in Cantonese, it would be you are "fried"
So funny 🤣
I feel like I want to live in England.
Torres
Are you spending ur Christmas in Africa Torres
rob said there is a little bit chicken in there egg is a kind of food in china mainland, a kind of halfcooked egg, which the chicken would be born, with high protein. but i dot like it, i would rather eat raw eggs
How about tea?
15:25 LMAO IM DYING
Oops. I missed the chance to join the campaign
6:25 evocative?
Similar
