That's halarious
@@SUGAR_XYLER hilarious.
That's the kind of thing that if it was in a movie I'd almost not believe it. But think about it, by the end of the case the prosecutor probably knew the kids better than anyone else, just anyway. And like Spiderman, "with great power comes great responsibility" so like I think she kind of felt obligated to care for them even long after the monster was defeated. What a sad story.
Nurhayat Leon Guerrero maybe they didn’t wanna to be shown. Do you ever think much? Clearly not
I think that was a strange thing to do. Where the hell was the father?
The interviewer’s face is priceless. The combination of disgust and anxiety
There’s more emotion in Anne Bradley’s eyes listening to this story than in Diane’s entire body. Her eyes are just dead and staring when she describes having to remember that night “whether she wants to or not.” The only thing more chilling is her laughing it up in the re-enactment videos only a few days after the shooting.

Because she'd look bad if she gave up her kids for adoption. She wanted people to keep thinking that she was a good person to the point where she was willing to kill him to retain her reputation I guess.
She’s a psycho what do you expect

Lots of adopted children get sacrificed for satanic rituals and for adrenochrome. Which makes the elite youthful. Which is part of the reason why many movie actors look young. Just in case i am not justifying her murdering her children. Instead she should have sent them to her mother. Or cousin or any family member.
Merica
Yikes her eyes are totally dead as she says those things.
"After (Diane Downs' children) Christie and Danny were adopted by the prosecuting attorney(!), Fred Hugi, Dena Reinhardt of Las Vegas, Nevada, made a chance phone call to the Hugi home. In that conversation, Christie, who was attending Thurston High School in Springfield, Oregon, said that she really didn't know who shot her. She also said the reason she testified that her mother shot her was because that's what they wanted her to say... Friends from Kennedy Elementary School said Christie showed them a picture she drew of the "man" who shot them. Dena Reinhardt of Las Vegas, Nevada called Christie when she was in high school. Dena recorded the conversation and Christie admitted to her that she didn't know who shot her, but said in court what they wanted her to say. Sally Chambers of Banks, Oregon put that tape into writing in booklet form. A copy of that booklet was sent to Diane's new attorney in Salem, Oregon. On page 32 of that (transcribed) conversation, Dena Reinhardt continues her very long conversation with Christie "...Or do you think she really, you think she really didn't do it, huh? Christie's answer: "I couldn't tell you, I mean I don't know who did it."... Christie Downs was called as a witness to testify against her mother. Christie testified in court, "My mom shot Cheryl then Danny then me." The State had been preparing Christie for over a year and she was "the" key witness. If she buckled under pressure, it would hurt the State's case. Christie was eight years old at the time of the shooting and was nine years old at the time of the trial. From the date of the shooting until the trial, basically, all of her time was spent in the custody of the State of Oregon without contact with her mother or her or her grandparents. Her father in Arizona was allowed limited visits.

Anyone else confused as to why they choose Becky to tell her story of being a victim of her mother. I mean I get it, being related to a psycho and knowing you have siblings who died can be tragic to know, but she did grow to have a normal life and wasn't even there when it happened.
I feel it would have made more sense to interview the poor kids who actually were shot, survived, and lived on hoping to forget this traumatic event.
Idk I suppose its obvious they wouldn't want to be interviewed and re-live those memories, but I just thought Becky could have just been mentioned, but not focused so much on like she was there. 🤷🏻♀️
idk i guess it's cause of those letters? or she's the only one okay with being public about everything idk. i guess i can see how she said she can kinda relate to her mother before it went downwards?
Because the other two siblings have decided not to speak or make any public appearances related to their mother or this case - The narrator explains it in the video. Becky, although she didn't live it, she is also a victim with valid reasons to hurt, she made the mistake of trying to get close to her mother -- and then was victimized again.
Yeah... Weird. And it was weird to me how she gave up her second kid, but kinda normalized it... And made it all about HER
It sounds like they wanted to stay private, you can't blame them for that. They have memory of the horrors and trauma.
@@nellrussellstarving_artist1215 yea super weird
I can’t stand Nancy Grace. You don’t have to yell at everyone lady
I just wanted her off the screen
She’s terrible. How she has a show I will never know.
@cheshire cat What good is it that she "talks shit about killers?" That's a nonexistent bar that anyone can surpass. If the above UA-cam user has ever helped someone cross the street, donated to charity, or volunteered to cook for the homeless, then they have done astronomically more good than Nancy Grace has ever done trash-talking murderers.
lol
(loudly) "are you trying to tell me... "
She helped a Killer to get out of Prison. ~ She acts like a serial killer.
4:19 The interviewer looks both shaken and like she doesn’t believe what she’s hearing.
I would too. The absolute comfort and horror in her face was too evident... you could tell she wanted out, and fast.
Poor women, she was in shock 🤷🏻♀️💔
its like looking at Jenelle from teen mom😲😱..... swear it took me 20 min to figure out who the heck looks like this woman....
I thought same thing. ... its the thin lips and pointey chin
Yes I thought the same thing the whole time I was watching it
Right?
they even speak the same...
OMG . Thank you. I thought the same thing, but then felt bad. She has the same ability to lie right to your face, knowing you don't believe her and then she smirks, because she DGAF.
I’ve been watching serial killer videos n man they all act like killings normal🤦♂️
Ivan A Ruiz This one was easy to spot .. She have all Red Flags all over .
@@briankerogoi4798 Edmund Kemper also likeabile . Look his interviews.
Technically speaking, Diane was a family annhilator, not a serial killer. Reference the Lentz family killing to note the difference.
They're true Psychopaths....literally...
Same though. 😂
She looks so suspicious, she’s smiling throughout the whole interview
Like the war vet who smiles when talking about his friends dying. James Haynes confessed to shooting Diane and her kids. Dianes daughter admitted she did not remember anything from that night or who shot her. No gun residue on Diane anywhere. Seems too railroaded.
Hmm
@@ellisdee420 prove Haynes did it. Oh, you can't. He's dead too. So easy to accuse a dead man based on hearsay. If you have actual proof bring it forward, free the princess locked in the tower. Until then the real killer is where she belongs.
@@stephaniemccracken1324 why do you act like "uhh duhh?" Look it up like I did. I'm done typing at you.
James Haynes confessed. There's statements written about it. A simple Google search . This kid stalking my every comment (Stephanie) is really annoying.

The interviewer facial reaction tho ! Hahaha one of her child passed away and 2 kids was in a coma but shawty having a "Hard time" tying her shoes 😭

"I don't think I was very lucky, but I think my kids were lucky."
Like what the actual??? How tf were ur kids lucky from getting shot???
I knew the nursing staff who were there, working in the ER the night when her children came to the Springfield Oregon hospital, and I know the people who got custody of her children. She is a monster. I know every one involved. She is a monster.
Naaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh I don't uuuuhhh I don't think ya do bud😁
Oh wow.....you are the most special person in the world. I'm jealous
I believe you.
“Sightseeing in the dark” hmmm yeah that makes sense
The baby daughter found out who her biological mother is; followed a modified version of her mothers history and finally decided to write to her in prison to build a bond... I would distant myself as far as possible from her (the daughter) knowing this.
ycz04x02 Eventually Becky Babcock (Diane Downs’ biological daughter taken by the state and put up for adoption) had to distance herself from Diane because the cray-cray was too much.
being adopted leaves a whole in your heart that never gets filled until you have that closure . I understand why she reached out regardless of the crimes .
@James Hanninen The "why" is already answered in the documental but even if it wasn't... does it really matter? Attempted murder on your kids, are you serious about having to ask "why"? Do you even realize that you are implying that there may be a reasonable justification to her actions?
There was once a story shown on television some time ago about a mentally ill, abusive mother with three children who forced one child to remain in a closet while another child was forced to feed the closeted child through the closet door. Eventually, the closeted child died in the closet and her corpse began to turn colors. The mentally ill mother forced the remaining two children to dispose of the body. Eventually, authorities found the remains and removed the remaining children from the home. After the remaining children became adults, one of them - the only living daughter - happened upon their mother walking outside, and waved to get her mother’s attention. As if to explain her response to seeing her mother, she said, “I know she’s done a lot of bad things, but she’s still my mother.” There you have it.
@@ThatBlasianChick I disagree. Everyone doesn't have the same feeling. I know one little girl that always knew she was adopted and at age 7 told her parents she doesn't feel the need to reach out. My sister recently was told she was adopted about a month before her 13th birthday and she's a teenager so she knows what she wants, she doesn't want to reach out. I feel in this case, it was for attention because after finding out who her mother was, she reached out, yet didn't want to know who her father was.
Her eyes look so emotionally dead.
5 minutes or so into this and that mum is a damn psychopath, unbelievable, she’s saying things that r so totally out of place, I have no words, speechless
I'm so glad that her daughter gained control of her life, it must've been really hard for her.
6:26 not many child actors are good but HOLY SHIT THIS GIRL IS AMAZING
Gary the Stormtrooper she is a very good actress
I've watched it several times she's very good! They all were in that movie. Farrah played a good crazy too!
You're right. I thought the very same thing.
Yes so much that if feels like its a documentary not a movie.
What the movie name??
3:39 "I don't feel very lucky because I couldn't tie my shoes for 2 months and I'll have a scar!"
You'd think the fact that her children were killed would be the" unlucky" part but yea..
When she said they I wanted to beat her ass like what is wrong with you lady!!!

Stop ...lmao 🤣😂🤣😂
The makeup person missed the chapter in school that teaches to
"tone it down" with neutrals as women age.

Gee, what a novel idea.
That right there tells you she is nowhere near the monster her mother is.
She really believed her own lies
It's weird that Becky's life seems to revolve around the fact that she's Diane's daughter even though they have never met. Like she travels to talk to people about it? I'm adopted and I know my biological father is in jail. I have never felt the need to try to communicate with him or go out of my way to talk about him with other people. Seems like she is searching for an identity.

Honestly, the children who survived have more to say than the child who never went through anything. She's not actually a survivor.
You can’t really compare and contrast victims or categorize their abuse by levels. If you grew up knowing your mom was a child murderer, you’d understand
She’s a victim of crime too.
