Thank you for that. It was very useful. What I need to do now is to hear the THR5A, BlackStar ID BEAM and BlackStar Sonnet 60 together so that I can make a choice. It would be very useful in future if you would include nylon strung guitars in your reviews of acoustic amps.
hey Carl, how do you like this Amp for your electric guitar? I'm buying my first amp and I have the possibility to get the THR5A much cheaper than THR5. What do you think?
Late to the party, but what did you end up buying? I also now have an option to buy THR5A cheaper than regular THR5, but I plan to play electric only (at least for now)
Many thank for this great review! Could you tell me, could I use it for monitoring too? I see, using the speaker ( as monitoring) and the phone output in same time?
Hi, thanks for the review and I can see you had fun playing around. Can I connect the output of ZOOM AC3 to acoustic guitar input like Yamaha THR5A or Marshall AS50D or orange crush Acoustic 30? The reason for this is I like the Shimmer effect (Pad) and would like to use it for professional performances with acoustic guitar amp.... Will this ruin my Zoom AC3 or acoustic guitar amp? In other words, will such acoustic guitar amplifiers support line level input from Zoom AC3 (Left/mono OUT)
I have 3 piezo pickups in my harp and I'm wondering the same thing! Since you posted this a year ago, what did you ultimately decide on? I use effects pedals with mine sometimes, so it doesn't always sound harp-like, but most of the time I play it clean. It's just fun to experiment with effects and some music sounds amazing with them. Or for making your own music.
I have read in Amazon comments that it works with Garage Band. I haven't bought it yet, but I have read that it does. That's a big selling point for me to not need an additional interface.
Really good sounding and versatile amp. Nice demo as always! Cheers!
I have one. And when I mic it with SM57 and got thru the PA, it sound great!! Without PA, it's prefect for home!!
Girl, you sound amazing!
Nice demo!👍😺

This amp sounds fantastic with a telecaster too if you want a warm clean tone.
WOOO YEAH THATS WHAT IVE BEEN WAITING FOR

How to connect Microphone to the amp?
Can I use for an electric violin?
wish it had a mic input
It can be used with an electric cord or with a battery. Is that correct?
How does the Yamaha APX T2 travel guitar with ART transducer pickups sound through it?

Skromny Tomasz Big hearty thanks to you Tomasz!!!! I will avoid buying this amp... I am happy to keep my AC3 and avoid the purchase of AC3.

Does it work with Sony Acid 10?
Can you livestream with it???
Is it loud enough to use for busking like the Roland Cube Street?
I have read that the chorus is always on on the THR5A ...is that true?
No
Will it work with IOS???
@@jkdmyrs how’d that go? Was thinking of doing the same.

How loud is it?
For home use it’s more volume than you’ll need.
I would really like to have heard a nylon strung guitar used for the nylon option. Any chance of this?
Yeah, check out the review with Steve Marks, it's in there.
So I have an acoustic and electric but I need an amp for both. Is is better to get the THR5 or THR5A?
I watched the Andertons review of this amp and in their review they stated that the THR5A would be great for both acoustic and electric.
Brett Handy it is! I just bought the amp best decision I’ve ever made 😎
I have a jazz guitar and don't want distorted tone. I want to emulate the sound of a warm tube amp, will the thr5 be good for that?
@@Patrick-ff6vs Sure
I'm thinking about getting this amp
Did you get it?
Hello there...
2nd 😂
