I am so sorry for your incredible loss of all your hard work. Your first video on aquaponics is great-one of the best I have seen. I hope you recover soon
Start it back up! The build was very well done.
Dang, what a set back. Don’t give up! Look into vertical growing. Perhaps it can be a system that you can take indoors temporarily when the anomaly arrives. Hope all is well.
Oh my god, its very to sad this beautiful thing torn down !
Wish all the best and you make a better one.
Abufaza3_Gam3r haven’t decided whether to rebuild it or not. I have or had 29 acres of pines that I planted myself that are destroyed as well as my house damage. I have many years of cleanup to do. It was fun and it worked decently. It was a good experience with aquaponics.
Oh geez....just watched this follow up video...so sorry to see what happened...hope you were able to recover and start anew - even if only on a smaller scale...
I too just stumbled across your videos because I recently salvaged a Harbor Freight 6 x 8 version of that greenhouse and have been exploring modifications (respected your using pvc to support the structure). Here in middle GA the storms can be amazing too. Curious, did you rebuild the property? The greenhouse? Do hope hope the family weathered Michael ok. Be interesting to see a follow up. Cheers and best of luck.
No. I didn’t rebuild it. We have recovered in regards to our home but our land is still in the process of clean up. The aquaponics was a fun project but definitely does not produce enough for sustainability. It would have to be a significantly larger system.
Sorry to see that mate, you will have to rebuild a stronger version.
So sorry to have your wonderful tunnel destroyed. Please don't give up.
sad, hopefully you are able to recover. ... I just sat here this morning and watched every single one of your videos starting with the first aquaponics one (and I even watched the paramotoring ones too ... which looks like a lot of fun). I've been interested in building a greenhouse and using aquaponics for a few years now. Your system looked like it was doing well after the first year. I will tell you about a product I was looking into diy instead of doing a premade greenhouse and these wall/roof panels seemed like the best deal for the buck. Search for TUFTEX 1518A on amazon, its a 6 mil greenhouse 4x8 sheets in a 20 pack .... i believe most greenhouses use 4 mil thickness
Time to set 4 poles and grab some plastic. I hope you continue on.
I hope you are doing well.
can you tell us how you're doing?
What are you up to now? Did you rebuild?
lol. finally found another youtuber with hopefully good videos. checked the latest one... .this one. :(
Parents lost a house in Katrina. So sad to see it all smashed by mother nature.
Sorry 😞
So sorry...it was a great system!
#panhandlestrong we will rebuild?
Just saw your aquaponics system and navigated to your channel. Extremely sorry to see the destruction from the hurricane. Hope you have recovered by now.
