There sitting and talking about nuggets and giving us a place to come and feel like your in a nugget community. Y’all are great!! Disagree a lot with you guys but agree way more often. My favorite DNVR. Prayers for the Gordon family!!!
I already wrote about this, but here it is again.. The Kroenke family is the owner of Arsenal from London in soccer. A very popular team with a great history. Before this last season, they spent only 316 million on transfers, of which 112 million was paid to a single player--all this without salaries, which are between 120 thousand and 200 thousand pounds WEEKLY per player (130 million in total). The luxury tax is paid there too, and that doesn't bother Arsenal, who buys a player for 50 million for the next season. Denver will never have Jokic as a team leader again, and it can be said that there are at most 4-5 seasons left for Jokic to play. Jokic is not a player you will see after the age of 33/34 still playing basketball as long as he is ready. Instead of bringing in two players by trading Zeke, MPJ got rid of some young talents who are clearly not NBA players, they are now developing a team--WRONG. The team that needs to win at least one more ring and become part of the great history of the NBA, should be constructed only to win another ring while those players are in their prime, and forget about developing players who are not even average.
I feel like people here on DNVR are underestimating the Mavs, when they chalk our loss to the wolves up to being a bad matchup or when they try to predict the finals. Why would Al Horford be able to accomplish, what Gobert couldn’t? Why would the Mavs not be able to cook the Nuggets defense, when they just did that to the best defense in the league? Why would you underestimate the Mavs defense, when it’s clearly better gotten better since the trade deadline. Don’t get me wrong. I think the nuggets could win , just like they could win against the wolves… but they didn’t. Not because of the matchup, but because they played bad. You guys are making the same mistake that got the nuggets here to begin with. “Mavs can’t guard Jokic… Who’s guarding Jokic?” So you expect Jokic to carry the nuggets for the whole series?” It’s a recipe for disaster and I think the Mavs would’ve cooked the nuggets. Next season the wolves will very likely have one less big, because the owners will cheap out on them. I think nuggets should prepare for the mavs. Not sure if it really makes a difference though, because the nuggets need to fix the same problems they’ve had for a long time now. Backup big, reliable PG (all of you know Jamal is the issue, not the backup PG. Having more PGs doesn’t make Jamal better unless you just straight up want to replace him. Bruh… at this point I feel like I’m talking about Zion and not Murray), three point shooting.
Dallas Mavs pre trade deadline record had more to do with injuries. Kyrie missed like 20 games. Lively sprained his ankle against Portland several times. And more injuries
They dont have problem defensively off the bench but scoring and more importantly a PG who is athletic + Good scorer and a Back up big. On the Starter its really comes down how jamal going to comeback to who he was and if MPJ can still progress.
Trades were important for Mavs, but without drafting Lively, and his insane growth during rookie season,Mavs wont be the same. And Mavs were mediocre before deadline, cause Irving missed 23 games in first 50 games of the season, thats the main reason
Would anyone trade Jamal Murray to the Toronto Raptors for Bruce Brown, Immanuel Quickley, and their 1st Round Pick? Let Jamal be the #1 for Canada's NBA Team? Then Trade MPJ to Cleveland for Donovan Mitchell?
D line still don't understand. He still think Dallas benefits on perfect matchup with 🐺🤦 and how nobody pick Mavs from start? Whaaaaaatttt 😂🤦 so focusing on Denver he can't see... If same, next year mavs in 6
They can't handle the Nuggets not being the best team in the west. A best team and best in the world player shouldn't be that bothered by "match ups" and be able to adapt. They didn't, their hubris will be the end of their success.

RiP, Drew. Love and strength to their family 💔
DLine was absolutely cleaning house on the snake draft until he hit the outside of a tobacco shop and let Wind take bacon.

I like MPJ but would be open to trading him to the Pacers for Turner.

I can't...how is this real? AG is one of the best dudes in the world, how, why????
Nuggets need rim protection, and a good bench scorer who’s ideally a good defender.
no they don't that's not how they play...they need competent no.2, that's it...and depth for regular season
