Hi John, If you want an Aero L-29, there's possibly at least 2 of them down here in New Zealand that were up for sale a year or 2 back. Some adventure company had them for aerobatic rides, but we don't have enough population with disposable income to enable that kind of operation to survive. They were parked at my local Int. Airport here in Christchurch for quite a while watching the grass grow. Not sure if they're still in the country now. :) I love your little 150 bug-smasher! - It's got a "Maddie mirror" :)
oh I hae been out of avaition for aqhile but not that long and I just watched a Student pilot out of Renton KRNT do Her first solo and when she was landing the tower communicated she had Pirority Landing as compared to the Your Number one for landing or just number 1 . Us canadians have to catch up to Your New ways :)
So speaking of the 150, I have a request for a new posting. How about going around the Chain of lakes in slow flight. Spent 20 years there after closing my flying career. Lucky for me there is no medical required for boating.
That was great!! Looked like it burnt the grass there a little, unless that was a video illusion. NICE!! Love the comment at the end, too. 👍🍻🤣
You know he was eyeballing that.

I don't think I could keep up with the maintenance on one of those. They look like a lot of fun.
I looked at a couple L29s, you can get one for less money than C150. Great if you own your own oil well, till oil is banned in USA.
There is a VOR at this little Airport ?? oh yah The L-29 is a Classic for sure but who could afford the Fuel

You could film and Maddie or Quinn could practice MCAS.
Id love to own one of these. Can get a mint condition used one same year as this for 180k usd
Buying them is easy. Maintaining them and putting gas in gets really expensive.
Yeah - trade for the 150 AND he gives you a hundred bucks.
I say that it would have been a great trade. The 150 has more room, carries more pax and the speed it about equal...right ??? LOL
