I have watch so many movies throughout my life with Hong Kong as the backdrop. Hope to go there one day soon. Thanks Samantha for the motivation. Great presentation of Hong Kong in this episode!
Samantha Brown does excellent series .. I m from Hong Kong .. I live in USA for more than 20 years .. part me no matter how long I live in USA going back to Hong Kong has make me appreciate more of my heritage..
I had an awesome time in HK. Love Lamma Island. Great nightlife and exploring with places to escape to if you want to avoid the crazy density. Makes NYC seem like a small town. Thanks
Thank you for this beautiful episode. You have grasped a key element of the attractiveness of Hong Kong: the great accessibility of pure nature, prestine mountains and Maldives-like beaches in an international metropolis!
Holly molly I can't wait to watching more of your vlog, you are very easy on the eyes Samantha, you are amazing, you are one of a kind..what a lovely city in Hong Kong 🇭🇰 ❤️
You're just hinting at the change in Hong Kong's system. I can say that even if there may be policy changes in 10 years, these traditions (porcelain, bird cages, tofu, tea restaurants, and feng shui) mentioned in the video will basically not change, because these traditions are not just from recent decades, but have been passed down for hundreds or even thousands of years as part of Chinese traditions. If the people of Hong Kong have an open enough mentality, perhaps in 10 years, there will be more classical and elegant traditional culture, more amazing high-tech, and more convenient life.
@@seekx2y556 ^ this. Politics will come and go. The people, the culture and environment, and the business opportunities will always be what make Hong Kong special and amazing. People who think "the political system" has ever been a reason to visit Hong Kong are projecting their own emotional investment in the 2019 political turmoil, and massively overestimating how much visitors care about local politics.
HK is a fascinating place but its a travesty that they don't use that spare land to build more housing for its citizens given how expensive existing property is there.
I just got back from Hong Kong after spending 2 weeks there. Amazing city.
Hong Kong! Hong Kong!一👍👍👍

It's a very nice documentary which introduces Hong Kong from some characteristic perspectives that many tourists are not aware.
香港是個動靜佳宜的地方👍美麗的海港,時代的建築,善良好客的人群....」歡迎各方遊客到訪。

Your video is educational, rather than just show the place. The picture quality is excellent. Good work!

HK taxi drivers are horrible!
Is HK still like this today? Or has the life and energy been snuffed out by the CCP?
