You have no idea how much this channel means to me. As a child raised by television in the 60s and 70s (it was my babysitter), these movies are more than nostalgia, they heal me to my soul in an ever increasing complex world. Now into my 50s, this channel is my goto for a piece of my history and a sense of calm and comfort comes over me. It used to be maddening traveling to other cities (I travel a lot for work) and trying to find old movie channels and inevitably, their idea of vintage film was vastly different from my own. Now I have you to keep me company, no matter where in the world I am. From western to Sci Fi to film noir this channel is everything to me. Without your efforts these films could be lost forever. You are a part of the living history of America and you keep this but important part of cinema alive.
Yeah my parents were divorced...
Lived with a mom who worked every day......so the new medium called television baby sat & raised me too ...in fact most values I hold on life were instilled watching 30 min sit-com's ...... ha ha ha
Mr. Tony Felice,
welcome to the club, fellow poster !
Ditto
Happy travels, Tony!
I like the "Mystery Science Theater" versions 😂
... this one is a good one
Those Babes is what kept me watching this! This was a super low budget film!
This is one of the better B-movies. Descent story and acting. Long live the B-movies!!!
Every year I become more and more convinced that the best and wisest choice is to focus on the fun these films provide.
Welcome to the world of _That's Entertainment!_ 👍👍👏🐎
I'm so happy to have these wholesome movies to watch.
The blond guy is principled and honest. Not qualities admired today. I would do the right thing in any given situation but many view this as a weakness
This movie has it all. Maybe my favorite throw back to when we knew nothing and ran on imagination
We still know nothing. Humanity appears stuck in a perpetual Dunning-Kruger effect, always overestimating what we know.
Watching these old movies from my childhood and working puzzles lowers my blood pressure much faster and safer than any blood pressure med.
Yeah right
These vintage sci-fi movies are iconic. I love the fashions and styles of that period
remember when women wore dresses?
Klaatu barada nikto
I was soooo fascinated with these sci-fi films as a kid I could not back then see the "cheese" so to speak. To me everything in the movie was real and could not think of anything in the movie to critique and I was so thankful I lived in an Era that had these movies...thanks for the upload.
Yea me to.
Lashings of cheese please!
Klaatu barada nikto ! What cheese ?
What a fun old sci fi movie.
Hollyweird could never make it like this now.
Took me back 65+ years to the old Saturday morning kiddy's cinema.☺️🏴
Yeah watching a scratchy print of INVADERS FROM MARS at the Academy theater on sat. Matinee afternoon. Good times for kids.
Saw this back in 1961. I was 16. I enjoyed it back then. We didn't expect much in those days.
I watch these kinda movies with my Dad he love them and I loved him so growing up was good I miss him but these movies make me happy Thanks
Awww! Same here Debbie!
Thank you so very much for sharing these movies and shows. Todays television shows are Not for me.
Thanks for watching PizzaFLIX. May the Sauce be with you.🍕🍕🍕
Got to love these old movies. They put the cheese in cheesey. Life was simpler when we were naive and innocent. Captain Kirk would have nailed all those women.
YESSS!! Gotta love Captain Kirk!!
Kirk was the studmaster.
It must have been in his contract.
A TRUE nostalgic glimpse into the 1950s! Innocent and pure bravado! What a great save from the past. Thank you for sharing it with the rest of us.

The early 60s were still an extension of the 50s.
Until that fateful day in November 1963.
Absolutely love films like these. Thanks for the opportunity to watch & enjoy again.
That was good, let's go back! These old space movies are so entertaining.
Love the old sci-fi movies from the 50's and 60's. Thanks.
so do I. they are classic especially if they are in black and white

For me, the 2 all-time best scifi movies are :
1_ Jack Arnold's 1953 "It Came From Outer Space"
2_ Walter Wanger's 1956 "Invasion Of The Body Snatchers"
They are complementary to each other.
The 1st is a message against xenophobia.
The 2nd is a cautionary tale against complacency :
When you have something as precious as your freedom,
you can be dead sure that there is someone somewhere
who want to take it away to dominate over you.
No wonder certain people at the time & even today,
rabidly & hysterically denounce this movie as "hysterical".
Perhaps because it cuts too close to the bone.
See them for yourself if you can find both of them.
June 7, 2019----Yet here we are, 58 years after this movie was made, with NO moon colony and only ONE space station?! Thanks for the movie.
Sure, but granite looking Formica has already been out of style for many years, so we have accomplished something these guys had
We do NOT need to poison anywhere else!

March 8 2020, still no progress.
Yeah old bald..i always thought there was a humorous point to Harry Nilsohnns :’Spaceman’ wherein he sings about all it is really is round and around and around. They’ve never been anywhere really despite their bluster and budgets!! 🎸
One of the best Sci Fi movies ever made!
Geez, you’re easily pleased.
@@Bigbro28 What would you say is the best?
@@WildkatKy : Geez, too hard a question but I do have favourites: ‘Contact’ (Jodie Foster.); ‘Super 8’ (Elle Fanning’; and ‘Tomorrowland’ (George Clooney.) 🐨🇦🇺
Surprisingly accurate with regards to quantum physics. I am surprised at the scientific knowledge that was around 60 years ago. And how so few people in 2020 are aware of such anomalies .. 🌛
i am much more surprised so few notice our US tax dollars are going to elon musk to learn to navigate space
I agree I still enjoy till this day watch these old space movies before I hit the bed have laptop set up speaker set up sit back and enjoy these movies you not see today those days are gone like everything else I cherish these good old fashion movies
Are you kidding me ? In a heart-beat I'd have stayed. All of these opportunities - I'd leave planet earth, in a short New-York city second,
WITH A SMILE !
One of the best sci-fi love stories I've ever seen. Always watch it when it comes up. The great acting, the cheesy props and special effects, the music, even the black and white filming was awesome. Saw it first over 50 years ago and it still has the same mystique as when I first saw it.
Thanks for sharing. Made my day.
See "Beyond The Time Barrier"(1960) very nostalgic !
What a gorgeous looking man Dean Fredericks was. He would have been a major star if he was born in these times x
@@Charlesputnam-bn9zy thanks for mentioning this movie. I decided to check it out. Excellent movie! 👍😎
It's nice that the alien babes kept up with Earth hairstyles from 1961.
and the guys have haircuts of the same era (that would change by the end of 60s due to the Beatles) - and it's a lucky coincidence that the aleins spoke american english
They came from Planet Clair.

How old were you in ''the good old days''?
Robert Kinoshita was also art director on “Lost in Space” & it’s fun spotting all the similarities in style and tone in this picture. (“Star Trek” & “Land of the Giants”, too).
Good to know that!
You have to love the old, small budget syfy movies, Bad Acting, Bad Directing, Bad Script, Bad Cinematography and Bad Special Effects, but they are Cult Classics that I love watching
TheIsreal0312 hmm guess I missed all the bad you speak of.
I'm here for all the low budgety goodness!
go watch spiderman
And bad-looking technology in their space craft & facilities! We probably won’t even need our technology 50 years from now. What a scream~
TheIsreal0312 It’s so bad ; that it’s actually good.
Good movie for the Saturday matinee crowd (kids). Surprisingly good music score, special effects for that era, and sub- story lines. Solarite antagonists and their method of attack are right out of "This Island Earth". So, it's (1961) and you're 11-12 years old with a box of "Dots" chewy candy... all's right with the world. What memories... Ridgway Strand!
i love thease old si fi movies..i find them very entertaing and relaxing to watch..

I used to go to the Saturday mat. and watch 3 of these space or monster flicks for a quarter, get a pop corn and a pop...Great times back in the early 60's, I'd work all week for 50 cent and spend it all at the movies...
rc tornow jr, I had some great times back in those days...this world today is just to greedy and self important...
As If...!!!
It was comic books for me. 12 cents... Flash, Green Lantern, Justice League, Action, Superman... I was a DC kid.
My dad raised in the depression said when he was a kid the movies only costed a nickel but nobody had a nickel he said he was so poor he would walk in backwards when the show was over before the next viewing
I sincerely love classic sci-fi/horror movies. They're great viewing with a brewskie on a late October night.
I love these Black & White Movies 🎥 Thank You for up loading this movie 😊🇬🇧
This movie brings back memories, the last time I saw it was the fifty cent Saturday matinee in the 1960s.
1961 same year I was born! I've seen this movie before...no clue when though....Good movie then and still today!
$0.75 for me in the 70s
Special effects and toy designs, love it🤩
The good thing about this film is that its watchable. Its a bit wacky in places but it doesn't drag and the actors are doing a good job of putting across their parts with good conviction. No doubt it was a good gig for all of them. Better than waiting tables and parking cars. Check out the Japanese-American babe (Akemi Tani) sitting at the command desk! Her hopes for a Hollywood acting career were high ...
I'm pretty sure the elderly guy who is something of a judge (Sesson?) is Francis X. Bushman who was a famous star in the first Hollywood golden era. Died in 1966. Once billed as the handsomest man in the world, he performed in silent films and early talkies, then played supporting roles in prominent films throughout the 1940s and 1950's. He also guest-starred in many of the golden age TV shows. He has a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.
Interesting to note that this film came out during JFK's first year in office. The space race was heating up and it must've been mere months later that Alan Shepard did his first manned space flight. Up into orbit and right back down again. Even back then, I imagine this film seemed to moviegoers a bit more like mid-1950's sci-fi fare.
Entertaining film and a quality upload! Thanks for posting.
Amazing!! When we finally reach other planets and discover life, the "aliens" will all have American accents.

Top quality entertainment. Thank you.
Je rêvais de voir un de ces vieux films fort plus intéressant que ceux d'aujourd'hui sans contenu. Merci! Une qui appartient à ces années 60.
Regardez "Beyond The Time Barrier"(1960)
un charmant scifi en n/b sans pretention
et empli de douce nostalgie.
Comme "La Machine A Explorer Le Temps", version de 1960.
The alien costume was made from Mrs Murphy's old living room drapes. It's set off nicely with an attractive fringe edging from Mr Murphy's late spaniel Mary. True story.
Combined with an early prototype of Crow T. Robot.
Just stumbled across this semi forgotten little gem! Somewhat cheesy but very entertaining. Held my attention throughout. Thanks for posting.

i really enjoyed this movie , dolores faith wow !
The music brings back so many beautiful memories when I was a child. Wish I had the score on CD. I used to hear this space music alot.
I think much of it was from World Without End. Done by Leith Stevens who did lots of music for these SciFi movies. Maybe that’s why they sound similar.
@@JS-fe8sx your right, Stevens did many scores for 1950s science fiction movies, he also composed the score for the 1947 film noir, Walk a crooked mile .
Better than a lot of so called block busters. Thanks Pizza Flix 🙋♂️
I think the sound effects are best. The noise of the "planet" when it accelerates. And the high powered rifle shots from the bad aliens are great!
OLD SCIENCE FICTION IS NOSTELGIC !!!
These are so much fun to watch. Thank you

Considering she was 39yo when this film was made it shows that Colleen Gray

Famous Bushman is perfect for his role. Because of his charioteering skills, he played in the original "Ben-Hur" film.
Francis X. Bushman. I take it "Famous" was intentional??
At 16:28 love the debris pinging off the ship.
Space rocks with life, Alien monsters and beautiful miniature woman.. Who could ask for more... If only we could take one home
I loved this movie it was so cool relieving the past.

what do you mean? is it an expression?
@Belkis
It’s not so much an expression as it is a process of elimination. Although, if you haven’t gone through that process after a few days have...then finally find relief...there can be an expression of shear joy. 😂

Well, she DID have an adorable little face. That's what I thought the very first time she appeared onscreen: "Man, she has an adorable little face."

So happy you are on. My Tv went out thank goodness for.
Did you notice who played the large Solarite monster? It was Richard Kiel, better known as Jaws from the James Bond movies.
I did not notice that. Thanks for pointing it out!
And I also notice that one of the two astronauts (who gets blasted on the first scene) was played by Jimmy Weldon who is also the voice of that little duck Yakky Doodle on The Yogi Bear Show.
What a great plot..........The human looking aliens are benign and the malevolent aliens are sinister. Having sexy human aliens always makes the plot better.
If you were a Solarite, your alligences would be reversed
and sexy aliens with apparently now inhibitions even better.
